French Nuclear Group Warns that Children and Pregnant Mothers Should Protect Themselves from Radiation

The French are advising its citizens about the risks of radiation from the Japanese disaster, but authorities in the US where radiation levels are 8-10 time higher are strangely silent. Could it be that the US ruling class is more interested in protecting its plans to use nuclear power than it is in protecting the health of its citizens?
