The Australian attorney disclosed some information that I have never seen before--information contained in the last four paragraphs which indicate not only a drive for independence from the US Empire, but closer relations with the arch enemies of the Empire: Russia and China. If he is correct, I very much doubt that MbS will last as head of the feudal Saudi state.
in the time remaining, to help us understand how the man-made system of capitalism will lead to the extinction of our human species, and so many others.

Pakistan in the middle of Saudi, Iran and rival pipeline plans
Click here to access article by Pepe Escobar from Asia Times.
The master of pipeline politics describes the complex nature of the two oil/gas pipeline systems that are in competition in the Middle East and Eurasia, and that the forces promoting these two systems might experience a tectonic shift affecting the power struggle between the US Empire versus the emerging and powerful Chinese-Russian coalition. Now stir the analysis provided in the previous post into the stew of geopolitical interests described in this article to see what you get. Could the Khashoggi incident along with the sanctions be the catalyst that could produce such a tectonic shift? Although Escobar does not factor in the Khashoggi incident, he sees one possibility:

Saudi Regime Survives but Enters the Time of Troubles

After all, because news and information is carefully monitored and managed by ruling elites, we ordinary humans must test out geopolitical analyses and theories of conspiracies in an attempt to get at the truth. See if you agree with me and the reasoning of the author. His analysis certainly adds a great deal of complexity to the already complex nature of geopolitical affairs involving major players in the world. The murder of Khashoggi may be a watershed event that could have major ramifications in the geopolitical future of the world.
In a sensational disclosure quoting “intelligence sources”, former Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer wrote in the Financial Review newspaper on Sunday that the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi who was murdered on October 2 in Turkey was far from a “bleeding heart liberal” but was a seasoned intelligence agent and a sympathizer of the Muslim Brotherhood working on regime change in his country.I don't often post speculative articles like this one regarding the future of Saudi Arabia after the murder of Washington Post's journalist Jamal Khashoggi by the acting king of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS). However, there are exceptions when an article rises to a high standard of plausibility based on reliability of sources. This article meets this standard of mine.
Downer wrote: “To add to the complexity of the story, the Brotherhood is supported by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Qataris… So Jamal Khashoggi – a former Saudi intelligence agent, a man who was close to the Muslim Brotherhood and a sworn opponent of (Saudi Crown Prince) MBS' reform program – was in the process of setting up a centre to promote the ideology of the MB. He was setting it up in Turkey with Qatari money. The Saudis wanted to stop him. In September they offered him $9 million to return to Saudi Arabia and to live there unhindered. They wanted him out of play. Khashoggi refused and the rest you know. The Saudis killed him.”

The bottom line is that the explosive anger and fury of the “Deep State” in America over the death of Khashoggi can only be understood with Downer’s intelligence input – namely, that Khashoggi was a priceless “asset” of the US intelligence establishment and the Saudis simply eliminated him.

Of Deep State Media Puppets, American Elections and Non-Americans’ Interest in What We Do
Click here to access article by Patrice Greanville, editor of The Greanville Post.
It is not just the "Deep State Media Puppets" that explains why most Americans get led to the slaughterhouse of phony elections and accounts for their ignorance about what the Deep State's government, their secret services, and their not-so-secret armed forces are doing to other countries. The Deep State exercises near total control of our nation and much of the world.
The Deep State is an informal, ruling class network of major capitalists and encompasses all the levers of power using powerful think tanks such as Council on Foreign Relations, Atlantic Council, Brookings Institution, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Trilateral Commission, Rand, Ford Foundation, etc, and the Federal Reserve. They, in turn, control their more operational organizations such as the CIA, NSA, etc, National Security Council, CIA infiltrated media corporations, etc. None of the participants in these organizations are voted into membership by the people. Their influence on what the government does is rarely covered in corporate media. Look what happened back in 1987 when a Senate committee attempted to reveal even what these secret operational agencies were doing to organize a "continuity of government" in the event of some ill-defined emergency:
How this secretive complex of organizations mediate and operationalize their decisions remains a mystery. However, it must be understood that the Deep State controls all significant institutions using bribes, threats, perks, career advancements, etc., and especially rewards those who demonstrate and promote the approved themes of indoctrination and Empire propaganda.
Most American intellectuals and academics refuse to recognize this version of the Deep State as defined by me. They have either been trained not to see it due to many years of indoctrination by US universities or they deliberately avoid such a meaning because harm will come to their careers.
The only remedy is revolution! Until a significant number of people realize that, the people of the world (including working people in the USA) will continue to suffer. It does not matter one whit (def.) who is elected to offices because the Deep State exercise near total control over the elections. Occasionally, although rarely, voters select a candidate that the Deep State doesn't like (such as Trump), but they will bring enormous pressure on these office holders to serve their interests; or failing that, they will remove them from office one way or another (including assassinations).

- The Global Rise of Fascism: Capitalism End Game? by Gilbert Mercier from News Junkie Post. As I see it, fascism is the last stage of capitalism. Thus, fascism is an integral part of the capitalist system and will always end in it. Capitalist ruling classes always turn to the threats posed by their military and police forces whenever their system is threatened. Also, he comes uncomfortably close in his use of "fascism" as an all-purpose smear word when he describes Saudi Arabia as fascistic. Saudi Arabia is primarily a feudal nation. Words and concepts matter especially when our masters are constantly trying to add to our confusion when discussing anything related to capitalism.

- The inherent alienation of workers who have no control over what and how products and services are produced.
- Inherent in the system is the incentive of owners to exploit workers to enhance profits: outsourcing, closing factories, polluting the environment while adversely affecting the health of workers, allowing stressful work conditions, etc.
- The inevitable concentration of wealth for owners and insecurity for workers.
- The frequent strategies used by owners to divide workers: racism, sexism, exploitative use of immigrants, etc.

During the interview Cohen expresses his grave concern about the deterioration of the relations between Russia and USA dating from the Syrian conflicts, and specifically with Trump's recent cancellation of the INF treaty (not to be confused with his cancellation of the nuclear deal with Iran--JCPOA) which ...
... eliminated all nuclear and conventional missiles, as well as their launchers, with ranges of 500–1,000 kilometers (310–620 mi) (short-range) and 1,000–5,500 km (620–3,420 mi) (intermediate-range).Cohen goes on later in the interview to remind us that in contrast to the earlier Cold War, there is no longer a fear of a nuclear war in this country and no anti-nuclear movement.
... a generation ago we worried about nuclear weapons and nuclear war all the time. Just look at the movies that were made back then, in Russia and in the United States. The fear of the apocalypse, the fear that somehow intentionally or unintentionally a nuclear war would end civilisation… I mean, our kids grew up with that. It was part of our lives. We don’t hear much about it.Notice that CounterPunch puts lipstick on the pig of nuclear proliferation, the cancellation of the INF treaty, and an increasing bellicosity of the US Empire as it descends into fascism by publishing today an article entitled "Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty Could Become Law Next Year".

From The Electronic Intifada. Watch here Part 3 and 4 below or directly from the website along with their article.
In the first two parts of the censored documentary The Lobby – USA, released by The Electronic Intifada this week, Al Jazeera’s undercover reporter “Tony” charmed his way into pro-Israel circles.

In the final two parts of of the film, Tony gets a deeper look at Israel’s covert influence campaigns during his internship for The Israel Project.

Of course not. America's wars are a non-factor because our masters don't want their subjects to be preoccupied by them, and their corporate media have intentionally avoided much news about them. When they are mentioned, our troops are only fighting out of humanitarian concerns and engaging in a War on Terrorism!

Chaos Reigns in Trump Administration over Iranian Sanctions
Click here to access article by Tom Luongo from Strategic Culture Foundation.
Sanctions may indeed be coming but will they have the bite that Donald Trump is hoping for?Although the author doesn't make a very good case that "chaos reigns" in the Trump administration, he rather convincingly argues that Iran and other countries which are the latest target of US economic warfare are in far better shape to cope than previously. Also, the USA is giving out a number of waivers that exempt many nations which will continue to do business with Iran without facing any secondary sanctions.
So, unlike in 2012, Iran has a lot more friends. But those friends also have a lot more power and resources than they had back then. A Russian alternative to SWIFT is not only a viable work-around for the sanctions it is the birth of a new and parallel regional monetary system at a time when there is a growing fear of a political and financial meltdown just over the horizon in the West.
Debunking the Real 9/11 Myths: Why Popular Mechanics Can't Face Up to Reality
Click here to access article by Adam Taylor from Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. (I don't normally post articles that are more than a month old; but in the case of the 9/11 false-flag conspiracy and tragedy in which millions of my fellow Americans still believe the fairy tales put out by the government which is almost entirely controlled by the ruling capitalist class, I will post this as an exception to the rule.)
[AE911Truth] Editor’s note: This 10-part series by researcher Adam Taylor exposes the erroneous and deceptive arguments made by Popular Mechanics in its most recent edition of Debunking 9/11 Myths, published around the ten-year anniversary of September 11, 2001.
As Taylor writes, “Popular Mechanics has been the primary cheerleader in the mainstream media in defense of the NIST reports ever since its book, Debunking 9/11 Myths: Why Conspiracy Theories Can’t Stand Up To the Facts, was published in 2006.” Many years later, the books and articles by Popular Mechanics continue to be frequently cited by members of the media as the definitive refutation of the controlled demolition hypothesis.
Adam Taylor’s dismantling of Debunking 9/11 Myths should be required reading for anyone who tries to hold up Popular Mechanics as an authoritative source on the cause of the World Trade Center destruction.
