- VSS Scientific Updates During Pandemic Times #12 by Geert Vanden Bossche, a world renowned virologist, from his weblog Voice For Science and Solidarity. My commentary follows:
I am posting this as an illustration of how we ordinary people depend on highly trained specialists to honestly advise us. Bossche states the purpose of his weblog as:
Goal: Our newsletter aims at providing regular updates on the science and the truth behind the current pandemic. We are dedicated to bringing the real science to the table and sharing how the truth invalidates the current narrative, for which scientific evidence is now increasingly lacking. We’ll provide an update on a (semi-)weekly basis, on Mondays and/or Fridays. We sincerely hope this newsletter will contribute to raising awareness about the consequences of human intervention in this pandemic, particularly of mass vaccination, from both an individual and public health perspective.
However, I've found his articles to be highly technical that present difficulties in understanding them. Although I have had a full college education, I cannot understand most of the reports of Bossche because they lie in other fields of study than mine in sociology.
We ordinary people depend on science specialists for their interpretation and utility. But what if we cannot trust these science specialists because they learn their living as science specialists under those who own scientific laboratories? And, what if we cannot trust these science specialists because they depend on grants for research if the latter are government bureaucrats who scientists constantly seek their favor.
Our representatives in Congress have set up regulator bodies to supervise these bodies to ensure that they serve the public. But what if they have been "captured" by those it seeks to supervise? This means that regulatory bodies are loaded with representatives of major pharmaceutical corporations such that regulatory agencies serve the pharmaceutical corporations rather than the public. What if--god forbid!--Congress has been captured by large "stakeholders" or major corporations? This, I think, is too frequently the case today.
Under number one, Bossche quotes from an article by Igor Chudov, a mathematician and a business operator:
The sequence of mutated gp130 genes, found in the DNA reverse transcribed from Pfizer Covid vaccine, does not mean that it will necessarily cause cancer, does not mean that it was added to Pfizer vaccine intentionally to cause harm, does not mean that it is even expressed as a gp130 protein, as expression of genes depends on cellular context. What it DOES mean is that we need to look at this closely.
How can we be assured that depopulation is not the case when scientific critics of the Great Reset alledge is one of depopulation (also see this) and control of ordinary people to the benefit of ruling capitalist classes? Our deceptive masters in these classes often will not put these in explicit words.

- The Middle East and the US ‘War of Sanctions’ on Russia by Salman Rafi Sheikh from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: See how Sheikh reaches this conclusion:
The lack of support from the Middle East is a direct outcome of US departure from the region and its increasing focus on Southeast Asia to tackle China’s rise in the Indo-Pacific region. More and more Middle Eastern states are increasingly asserting their autonomous foreign policy choices, which means that Washington may have overestimated the support it thought it will be able to generate in favour of its politics of NATO expansion.

In a normal, healthy, open society, the mass media would present these terrible events with appropriate levels of outrage, identifying responsibility where it lies – so often Washington and London – rather than attempt to justify them, or shrug them off as ‘that’s just the way things are’.
‘Normalisation’ also extends to making palatable the inactions of governments. The most glaring example is the climate crisis that is now engulfing humanity amidst the utter madness of corporate-driven neoliberal economics. The UN Climate Summit in Glasgow last year was an appalling abdication of duty by those in leading positions in government, industry and finance. As we noted in our media alert last November, COP26 was a ‘greenwash festival’ and its lack of decisive actions a ‘crime against humanity’.
