Egypt: The Struggle Continues

Click here to access article by Joel Beinin from Jadaliyya.
Egypt’s revolution is very much a work in progress and the struggle among its political and social forces remains undecided.
Indeed, we have only witnessed the initial stage of this revolutionary process. The Egyptian people will not easily return to their former dependent status and be exploited further by the US sponsored military ruling class in Egypt.

This is a major contest that the Empire's political operatives feel could be a decisive battle to preserve the Empire, and they are doing everything they can to win. See this article entitled, "Top US senators join business trip to Tunisia, Egypt" in which the "top senators", who brought bags of US taxpayer money to bribe the Egyptian ruling class, were accompanied by CEOs of key US corporations such as Bechtel, GE, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Bechtel, Exxon Mobil, Marriot and Dow.
