Like an incorrigible alcoholic, the capitalist class goes on one drinking binge after another. In between binges he beats his wife, the workers. Then he promises never to beat her again and never to drink again. And, you know the rest of the story. The author succinctly reveals the real history represented by this metaphor and what it could be like if workers divorced this deadbeat.
