In a chilling 16-page dossier known simply as the White Paper, one of Obama’s statutory brains at the Justice Department cites the 1969 secret bombing of Cambodia as a legal rationale justifying drone strikes, deep inside nations, against which the United States is not officially at war.This is another illustration of how a ruling class can use its power over any legal institutions in society to justify what its government does. Thus, contrary to the author's view, to informed and politically aware citizens there is nothing "startling" about this disclosure. It's long past time that people on the left grew up!
