This politically aware economist explains how surplus workers in America provide larger profits for employers. So if you are a member of the capitalist class, what's not to like about recessions, depressions, and unemployment? Workers a hundred years ago knew this, but today's workers are kept by our masters in a state of ignorance with all kinds of meaningless distractions--like the current election circus which they manage--and provided an education that teaches them only skills that their employers can use.
