We can't defeat ISIL without that part of the equation, so we keep trying to forge those relationships.”It's clear from this and other sources that the CIA is funding terrorist groups to militarily weaken the Syrian government, whereas the Pentagon is supporting the Kurdish forces to accomplish "Plan B" to break up Syria. Also this article makes clear that the CIA is operating from Turkey to furnish weapons to their terrorist armies which, according to other sources (see this and this, often give them to ISIS (ISIL). The resulting chaos in Syria seems to me to be a deliberate policy of the Empire of Chaos.
Left unasked is the 800 pound gorilla question: what justification does the US, its NATO ally Turkey, its medieval allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and its fortress colony of Israel have to attempt to destabilize the Syrian government?
