I am convinced that the European Union is a prison. This is a consolidation of financial interests, but not the union of the people. This consolidation will not be long. Brexit – is a good example for us. Soon other countries will think of doing the same. Perhaps, this is the beginning of disintegration of the European Union.Although I don't agree with several observations made by this author, I think this piece represents another indication that Europeans are waking up to the fact that they are a colony of the US-led Empire. The are ruled, like we ordinary Americans are, by a transnational class comprised of American, British empire, and European capitalists. We are all subjected colonial people.
