Posts that I especially recommend for Wednesday, March 2, 2022

  • The following very perceptive political cartoon was drawn by Allen Forest from Dissident Voice:

  • Bankers Want Control Of Digital IDs featuring Jimmy Dore, a comedian turned anti-propagandist, commenting on a Canadian banker's promoting a digital ID, and guest Kurt Metzger, a comedian mostly interjecting humorous and satirical comments, from Dore's channel on YouTube (13:33).
  • Defending Freedom And Democracy Sure Requires An Awful Lot Of Censorship by Australian Caitlin Johnstone with her American husband, Tim Foley, also reading the script (08:59), but you may miss supporting examples, illustrations, etc.)--from her weblog. My reaction: Because the title of this post is ironic, she goes on to argue that the current propaganda is similar to what the mainstream media spreads about the covid "pandemic".
Kind of makes you wonder if perhaps rallying behind the idea that it’s fine to censor people to preserve the establishment narrative about things, like Covid-19 and vaccines for example, was every bit the slippery slope that everyone warned it would be. If perhaps we have foolishly consented to a reality where the most powerful people in the world get to control the information people consume in order to shut down dissent against a murderous and oppressive globe-spanning oligarchic empire.

And it kind of makes you wonder, as we watch the same empire that just destroyed Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen being entrusted to carefully navigate extremely delicate nuclear brinkmanship escalations without ending the world, if we might perhaps be better off with a lot more dissent, rather than a lot less.
  • CrossTalk: Changed world featuring a video of Peter Lavelle, who currently lives in Moscow, with his expert-guests consisting of two Americans and one Russian from RT's channel on YouTube (24:59)
  • Pro-War Media Caught Pushing Fake Ukraine Stories featuring Jimmy Dore, a comedian turned anti-propagandist, his guest Kurt Metzger, pointing out and laughing about the outrageous fake propaganda which is filling mainstream media, from Dore's channel on YouTube (18:31).
  • Disarming Ukraine - Day 7 by Bernhard, an astute independent German blogger, from his weblog Moon of Alabama. My reaction: I think that the purpose of his weblog is to inform Americans about the reality of the geopolitical world that is not reported in the US mainstream press. Bernhard wanted to disguise where this was coming from. That is why he has named in his weblog as such. The song "Moon Over Alabama" is often translated into German as "Moon of Alabama".
  • (Note: Because I am running late and out of energy, I think you should check The Saker's weblog founded by Andrei Raevsky because he, although an anti-socialist, is an expert on most things Russia.)
  • 💥Has Putin Miscalculated? by Pepe Escobar from TheAltWorld. The world's top journalists, in my opinion, gives his report and background on the happenings in Ukraine. This is a best post. (Note: The interview conducted by Richard Medhurst includes mainly the first YouTube video. Thus, I only recommend the first video interview with Escobar because the second one is marred initially by technical difficulties and Medhurst continues his take on related issues for the full length of more than five hours in the 2nd video.) My reaction: I don't why this post is entitled as it was because I could find only one mention by Escobar in which he expressed the "west" (the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire) was winning so far, but the remainder of the interview he argues that in the not very distant future the Russians will win. I was particularly interested in his remarks related to Nordstrom 2 pipeline ("Nordstream 2" in English) because I see this as a major consequence of the Russian "invasion" of Ukraine. Escobar starts his report related to this pipeline at 58:52 during the interview (in the first video) and he continues on for more than seven minutes. I found his report on Nordstrom 2 the most enlightening.
No one is talking about China ousting the US from Europe yet, but it is obvious that what is commonly referred to in modern media as “soft power,” which, according to popular opinion, developed states use against less developed ones, is now being used by China in Europe at full power.
