Posts that I especially recommend for Monday, March 7, 2022

As Russian troops entered Ukraine, the government in Kiev ordered the “emergency destruction” of pathogens including plague and anthrax at US-funded laboratories near the Russian border, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow claimed on Sunday. Earlier rumors that the Russian military was targeting US-run biolabs were written off as conspiracy theories, but the ministry has promised to back up its claims with documents.

Volodymyr Zelensky is the current President of Ukraine. He was elected in a landslide victory in 2019 on the promise of easing tensions with Russia and resolving the crisis in the breakaway republics in east Ukraine. He has made no attempt to keep his word on either issue. Instead, he has greatly exacerbated Ukraine’s internal crisis while relentlessly provoking Russia. Zelensky has had numerous opportunities to smooth things over with Moscow and prevent the outbreak of hostilities. Instead, he has consistently made matters worse by blindly following Washington’s directives.
  • Does Germany Support the Nazi Regime in Kiev? by Vladimir Odintsov from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: The Nazis in Ukraine (see this, this, and this) and elsewhere are just fighting under another flag, NATO: the fascist Empire (de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire) rather than the flag of the German Nazis of WWII. Russia and China are standing in their way of world domination. The fascist Empire that emerged in the post-WWII era is striving to split this alliance. The US capitalist ruling class in combination with capitalists in the former British Empire and right-wing Jewish forces of Israel (admitted to the Empire around 1967) are determined to establish a New World Order: a unilaterally dominant order controlling every aspect of the people's lives for the benefit of capitalists everywhere. (Read, if you haven't already, this, this, and a recent book entitled Tomorrow, the World by Columbia University Prof. Stephen Wertheim.)
In this post, Unz reveals his old-fashioned capitalist sympathies by heralding the likes of Pat Buchanan, Gerd Schultze-Rhonhof, and A.J.P. Taylor.

After WWI Germans were indeed "mad" after their surrender of WWI in which they experienced so much humiliation (loss of land, colonies, huge debt repatriations), and they selected the insane Hitler who was obsessed by visions of lebensraum, to lead them in a campaign of revenge.

Capitalists of the Anglo (English speaking) world saw that Germany under the fascist rule of the Nazis was determined to head east for their lebensraum (Mein Kampf), and they welcomed this because of the old fears of socialism and communism replacing capitalism (the Russian Revolution of 1917) which fueled their class as a ruling class. But they didn't want a world dominated by German capitalists--they wanted a world dominated by Anglo fascists. So, in 1940 a secret cabal largely in the US State Department saw the golden opportunity after WWII and conspired to take the lead in establishing the domination of English-speaking capitalists. (Read this, this, and this.) Unz doesn't realize that capitalism portends class-structured societies, and capitalists want to serve as the ruling class by controlling every aspect of the lives of everyone else for their own benefit.

Unz, and another author who he posts, are obsessed by right-wing "Jews", especially pro-Israeli Zionists, which in 1967 have joined the US-British combination after WWII to establish a New World Order, a goal of capitalists to dominate (control) the world for their benefit. This, I see, as an old fear stemming from the fact that most revolutionary leaders of the hated Russian Revolution were Jews, and/or in combination with Christian capitalists' disdain for right-wing Jews masquerading as "neoconservatives" which have largely taken over the US capitalist ruling class in the 21st century.
The Empire doesn’t care about the Ukrainians anymore than they care about the people in their own countries. It is about maintaining control over humanity.
What occurred on that Saturday which prompted the EU switch from moderate sanctions to become a full participant in a financial war à outrance on Russia is not clear: It may have resulted from intense U.S. pressure, or it came from within, as Germany seized an opportune alibi to put itself back on the path of militarisation for the third time in the past several decades: To re-configure Germany as a major military power, a forceful participant in global politics.

And that – very simply – could not have been possible without tacit U.S. encouragement.

  • Extremely important statements by Putin (MUST SEE!) by Andrei Raevsky (the Saker) from his weblog The Saker. (Note: This post supplies a transcript of both his questioners and Putin's response.) My reaction: If you still have doubts about the Russian "special operation" in Ukraine, read/see this post.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan just proudly flexed his country’s strategic autonomy by condemning those Islamabad-based Western envoys that earlier demanded that he publicly condemn Russia for its special military operation in Ukraine. By rhetorically asking, “What do you think of us? Are we your slaves … that whatever you say, we will do? I want to ask the European Union ambassadors: Did you write such a letter to India?”, he broke the West’s post-colonial neo-imperial chains over Pakistan.

Pakistan abstained from the UNGA vote on Ukraine alongside around three dozen other non-Western countries, including India, both of whom are impressively pursuing the same policy of neutrality in the New Cold War despite being decades-long rivals.

  • The US Is Culpable in Today's Ukraine Crisis by Liam Cosgrove from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: Although my regular readers will regard this post with disdain, they could send this post to their relatives and friends who are the least bit skeptical of the stories that are spread by mainstream media.
  • Science Snippets: Down in the Dumps featuring the views and analysis of Prof. (retired) Guy McPherson, an independent scientist (via his YouTube channel--07:36), who has fearlessly focused his attention throughout much of his prior career and retirement on the climate crisis. My reaction: They are now censoring climate scientists.
