We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

  • Ivermectin (an update) from Pheme. (Highly recommended by staff-writer Brad Fredricks.)
How is a citizenry to respond to Evil, to publicly made threats that they are now in a period where novel viruses, cyberterrorism, and food shortages may strike at any moment?

What about the fact that making threats to achieve political or ideological aims is the very definition of terrorism itself, or the fact that using the internet to do this is the definition of cyberterrorism? When we look at those who have benefited politically and financially from the lockdowns, and who will undoubtedly do the same with the coming cyberterrorism seasons, we are reasonable in asking: Is the World Economic Forum website in fact a terrorist website?
  • New World Next Week with James Evan Pilato featuring James Corbett in addition to Pilato covering their interpretation (25:40m) of this week's news from Corbett's website, The Corbett Report. My reaction: Notice that Pilato uses words like "system" but he doesn't explain what the word refers to. This is typical of anarchists and American libertarians (as distinguished from European libertarians): they can't see beyond the government but use terms such as "establishment" (Corbett uses) and "system", a holdover from the anti-Vietnam war protests, without ever explaining what they mean. However, the trends they see happening by governments, all of which are controlled by an ever-decreasing capitalist ruling class, are real. The use of legally mandated vaccinations designed by the ruling capitalist classes is real (and coming to America) in order to divide people and stir up dissension (the old divide and conquer strategy).
  • Congressman Dennis Kucinich Joins Redacted Tonight! featuring Lee Camp interviewing former Congressman Kucinich from the channel of Redacted Tonight on YouTube (19:08m). My reaction: Kucinich describes how all governments in the USA really work: to serve corporate profits and the capitalists who own them whether legal or not. He also explains how they ran him out of Congress and censored journalists and shortened their careers. In spite of numerous defeats, he still hopes that things will get better.
  • Going Dark by Craig Murray, a British dissenter, from his weblog. My reaction: When all else fails, capitalist governments through the dissenters in prison or insane asylum.
  • The Taliban go to Tianjin by Pepe Escobar from "The Saker" weblog. (Note: Escobar provides a complicated analysis of Afghanistan and the response to it by Russia and China.)
... in response to a well-thought-out decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in the days of the Olympics rallies, the Russians launched the not quite tolerant hashtag #wewillROCyou (according to the permitted name of the Russian team – Russian Olympic Committee). The anger of ordinary Russian citizens is reasonable if we keep in mind that never in history has any country been deprived of its flag and anthem.

So we have to ask ourselves, all of us who love sports but also basic human rights, is it right to try to humiliate a country of 147 million inhabitants? Especially having in mind how much that country has provided to the world in the field of sports, culture, science.

Hey, the CDC had to be consistent, even when the results were cray cray [def.], and therefore did not exempt children.

Well, how did vaccination rates respond? Far from incentivizing people to get the jab, everyone took off their masks and dared authorities to ask for their papers. This is because after a year and months of egregious restrictions on freedom, people were fed up and looking for some means by which they could pretend to go back to normal. Vaccination rates stayed stuck for the reason that everyone who wanted a vaccine already got it, while the rest possess natural immunity, are wary of the medicine, or were more than willing to accept the risks of exposure.

The answer to the question posed by the title is "none of the above". "The Squad and DSA" are both controlled by the capitalist ruling class.

There is much to learn for ordinary Americans from Stewart's personal experience with the machinery of political parties. But I have doubts that they will learn from his experience (and millions of others before him) in time to prevent the extinction of nearly all species on Earth including humans. To work through party machinery as a route to promote any kind of change that will result in lessening the power of the ruling class is totally futile because the capitalist ruling class has set up their government to function that way.

You see, the ruling class ever since its founding in the USA has consistently protected its real power of ownership of the economy, but ruling behind the facade of political party politics, not class politics. (The attempts of people to set up socialist governments have always been ferociously and consistently resisted by the capitalist nations.) This facade has given the ruling class a fake social legitimacy, but it is only a facade to fool ordinary Americans. Meanwhile, our masters used real economic power through their ownership of the economy to acquire the overwhelming real power and wealth that we see today.

Fortunately, Stewart has appeared to learned after decades of experience what real power is made of, but for his fellow Americans it appears too late for them to learn such a lesson now that the ruling class has consolidated and concentrated real power in their hands. The capitalist ruling class has used its overwhelming power to set up police and surveillance agencies to contain any opposition that might arise. They have control (via their ownership) of media corporations to create their self-serving "realities", and they don't hesitate to use censorship of views that are inconsistent with their rule. They have control of jobs and careers like never before through their concentration of ownership in an ever diminishing ruling class. And finally, they have extended their rule over a de-facto transnational empire--the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire.

But theirs is a pyrrhic victory because soon their destruction of habitat on our planet Earth, either through their economic activities or a global nuclear war, will end with the extinction of humans and most other species. The destruction of habitat is well advanced--we are seeing signs of this today through the destabilization of the climate. And when our ruling class is convinced that they are losing the war of global control, they might be tempted to launch a desperate last stand through a nuclear war.
Today, it’s not Germany-Japan but the specter of a Russia-China-Germany entente that terrorizes the Hegemon as the Eurasian trio capable of sending American global domination to the dustbin of History.

(Note: It is gradually getting harder for me to decipher Escobar's creative writing style. The above quotation is not representative of this, but much of the rest of the article is.) My reaction: He see the directors of the de-facto US/Anglo/Zionist Empire as selecting actions that will inevitably "dig their own grave". In this case, the grave is the Empire. Beginning in 1940, or thereabouts, they launched their empire project. Since then, the billionaire directors of the Empire had enjoyed so much power and wealth that they have become addicted to both. Only the people of the Empire can stop them, and I don't see that happening in this era of 24/7 surveillance, unaccountable secret agencies, and media corporations controlling what people think.
With barely a whisper of protest from either the media or the American people, Barack Obama and Joe Biden supported and empowered a group of far-right, Nazi-idolizing, Hitler-worshipping, anti-Semitic militias to fight against Russian-backed separatists in Eastern Ukraine.

  • ALL News is Fake News by Mickey Z. from Dissident Voice. (Note: Of course, the author is referring to news that is provided by media corporations that are owned by billionaire capitalists.) My reaction: Karl Rove, Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush, Jr., accidentally revealed how the capitalist ruling class referred to "reality", and news--indeed, all their programs--function as a creator of "reality" as reported by their media corporations for most people in the USA:
That's not the way the world really works anymore. We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors ... and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

  • 💥WATCH: Perspectives on the Pandemic (30:40m) featuring Prof. Mark Crispin Miller (via an interview) in effect giving a lecture to us on propaganda and the historical roots of using propaganda to wildly place fears of the Covid pandemic and other projects of the Deep State. The article is from Off-Guardian. This is a best post. My reaction: The Deep State is an informal board of directors of the ruling capitalist class who spread exaggerated fears of the pandemic by their ownership of media corporations.
US corporate media has seized on the images of Afro-Cuban protesters to paint the demonstrations as an expression of explicitly racialized discontent. In an article headlined, “Afro Cubans at forefront of [Cuba’s] unrest,” the Washington Post quoted anti-government NGO’s and activists associated with the San Isidro Movement denouncing Black Lives Matter for its statement of solidarity with the Cuban revolution.

Left unmentioned by the Washington Post was the role of the US government in backing many of these same NGO’s and activists in a bid to weaponize the Cuba’s underclass. At the forefront of Washington’s strategy are two traditional CIA fronts: the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

Though little known, the Korean Armistice Agreement and the war it holds in abeyance are a “still-present-past.” Their grip on contemporary U.S. Korea policy remains virtually uncontested because the truths of American self interest in the country’s longest war have been largely erased from public memory. July 27, 2021 is not ‘just another day.’ The current administration and especially the public at large need to take note of this anniversary date and recognize that the tortured history it signifies persists to this day. In fact, the Armistice Agreement itself called for negotiations forthwith to achieve a peace settlement in recognition of the impermanence of a truce. That requisite has languished since 1953. The time to fully abide it is now.
  • Recent Geopolitical Developments Point to a Better Future by James O’Neill, a former Barrister at Law in Australia, from New Eastern Outlook. (Note: The author points to facts-on-the-ground that clearly indicate that the imperialists of the de-facto US/Anglo/Zionist Empire are losing.)

  • The Covid lies, who is behind them and what do they want. By David Lawrenson from his website LettingFocus. (Note: Because Lawrenson is a British citizen, this article is about details in Britain regarding the Covid pandemic.) My reaction: Because Lawrenson is representative of most people in the de-facto US, Anglo, Zionist Empire, they have difficulty believing that the "authorities" would intentionally lie to them.

To many people, who read only the main stream media, reading that many things stated as facts are in fact, lies, may come as something of a shock. Indeed, when many people see these described as lies, they may be tempted to dismiss them out of hand and stop reading.

They often ask: Why would the government lie to me? Surely they would have my best interest and welfare at heart, as well as that of the welfare of all people, both here in the UK and in all countries.

However, Lawrenson, the author is among those who are slowly waking up.

It may come as a shock to many people, but there is very strong evidence that their long term goal is to control national governments, democracies and individual freedoms and replace them with a global society in which every individual will be constantly controlled, monitored and assessed.

Because his rather lengthy article is jammed-packed with lies relating to the pandemic propaganda, it is very worth reading. Unfortunately, he misses the target by arguing that a technocratic elite is responsible for this.
  • Ancient Wisdom: Paradise and Hell Entwined in Pulsating War by Alastair Crooke from Strategic Culture Foundation. My reaction: Crooke, who was a member of Britain's MI-6 (counterpart to America's CIA) engages in obscure arguments to gaslight us into thinking that we now have a post-capitalist system.
It is not market capitalism – that has long been strangled in the US by the Fed. The term ‘capitalism’ is used by today’s ideologues to maintain ideological continuity, rather than to stand as a plausible definition. The camouflaged aim however, under the sugar-coating, is to manage a strictly post-capitalist society.
This is a very simple principle: the more awareness there is, the more harmony there will be. But just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s easy.

The deck is stacked very aggressively against the collective expansion of consciousness. Government secrecy, propaganda, and systematic indoctrination from early childhood are all carefully engineered by the ruling class to ensure the continuation of their rule.

All we can do in response to this is help spread awareness as much as we can. Right now the number of people who understand what’s going on is very small, and the powerful aim to keep it that way; that’s why internet censorship campaigns are ramping up like never before and critical natsec
[national security] journalism is being aggressively attacked. But if we can be very clever and spread truthful information in a way that helps wake up even one person to what’s really going on, our numbers grow by that much, and then that’s one more person you have working to awaken the world.  [my insertion]
So-called anthropocentric morality is not the cause of environmental destruction—it is a justification for practices that inevitably occur in a society based on capital accumulation. As Michael Parenti explains:

The essence of capitalism, its raison d’être, is to convert nature into commodities and commodities into capital, transforming the living Earth into inanimate wealth. This capital accumulation process wreaks havoc upon the global ecological system.

This is why capitalism has not responded to decades of lectures about the immorality of environmental destruction.

The article also contains an important insight which lies in this sentence: "White’s article offered the kind of ideological framework that careers are built on." In other words, those people who exhibit affinity to the morality of ecologism are rewarded in their careers, but those who dig deeper to realize that a system (of capitalism) inevitably leads to climate destabilization and environmental destruction are shunted off to live in relative poverty.

This is precisely why the ruling class has adopted the Democratic Party and virtues favoring minorities: racial minorities, sexual minorities, women's opportunities, and even ecologism--because careers are built with people who advance such ideas. The ruling capitalist class has recognized that the high-tech industries that they rule over have been peopled who favor ideas, and they want to pretend to promote such morality in their 24/7 propaganda ("woke" strategy).

Meanwhile capitalists do what capitalists always do: derive profits (and power) by exploiting both man and nature, and thereby destabilize the climate and the environment. But in the Great Reset there appears to be an active pursuit of high-tech measures to solve the growing crises.
  • Fight the Banksters with Cash Friday featuring James Corbett from his weblog The Corbett Report, a video presentation (35:36m) of his discussion with Catherine Austin Fitts regarding the plans of the central bankers of the de-facto US, Anglo, Zionist Empire to introduce digitization of money. My reaction: Both Fitts and Corbett don't see the contradictions of capitalism based on the very real crises of debt and climate destabilization. They want a return to old-fashioned industrial capitalism.

  • InfoWars Steals/Alters TLAV Content, EUA & The Pandemic Of The Vaccinated featuring Ryan Cristián from The Last American Vagabond (video and audio are provided--approx. a little over an hour) mostly ranting about the alternation of his content and ascribed to other dubious websites--and then being banned. My reaction: This type of censorship is only to be expected of the "security" agents of the Deep State, an informal board of directors of the ruling capitalist class.
This dovetails nicely with my arguments that the US capitalist ruling class had profound sympathies with the German capitalist Nazis (the name for their party was literally "National Socialist German Workers Party" which was a typical capitalist lie) and their plans to go east and crush the Soviet Union. (See here and here.) As a propaganda weapon, the goy (def.) prejudice against Jews was resurrected and given capitalist energy following the Russian Revolution of 1917, in which the leaders were mostly Jewish. This revolution led to the first attempt to establish socialism in Russia as the Soviet Union.

This event provoked various attempts by capitalist nations to remove this scar from world capitalism (see this, this, and this). This is typical as revealed in history with the attempts by US/Anglo/Zionist Empire to crush revolutions in Cuba, Chile, Nicaragua, Bolivia, etc., and to crush quasi-socialist governments wherever they existed. It seems that good examples of a socialist government severely threatens billionaire capitalists.
To be sure, most Americans know nothing about the real history of Japan and South Korea relations. This post will not make up for this deficit, but hopefully it will make a dent. Korea was an exploitative colony (is there any other kind?) of Japan, which tried to emulate Western capitalist nations for most of the first half of the 20th century. This has left a bitter taste in Koreans and well as old habits and memories of Japanese regarding their dominance of Korea and their residual colonial attitudes toward Koreans.

But this history didn't stop US aggressors after WWII--they simply replaced US dominance for Japanese dominance, and often used Japanese authorities to help them impose a US dominance and alliance in their new Cold War with the Soviet Union. Because the Korans of the north bitterly opposed US interference, the USA finally end up dividing Korea into two parts. (I recommend that you catch up on this history by reading at least the first of two volumes of books written by Bruce Cumings entitled The Origins of the Korean War regarding this history.)
