We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

  • Google CAUGHT Helping CIA Spy On You featuring Jimmy Dore, normally a comic (def--#3), seriously exposing the CIA, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc., the rest of their media corporations and their role in subverting real news coverage in the USA. (Note: "establishment" = the ruling capitalist class.) My reaction: I wish the general population could be as informed about our masters as comics like Dore, Hopkins, and R. Brand are.
  • 💥Propaganda and the Media: Part 1 – Introduction by Larry Romanoff from "The Saker" blog. This is a best post. (Note: You will need to know what "DDoS" means.) My reaction (Revised my reaction at 6:30 AM CT on Tuesday.): This knowledgeable person packs a lot of insights and factual history in this post. I especially found his comments about Chinese news media helpful. I rarely agree 100% with my posts, but I agree with probably 95% of this post. No one person knows everything! That is why we are social animals and depend on each other for the truth, among other important things. However, we are up against a US/Anglo/Zionist Empire that intentionally deceives us. I will provide my differences from Romanoff in future commentaries or reactions.
  • USAID admits to Venezuela regime change fraud featuring Anya Parampil and Red Lines' channel on YouTube revealing a well-kept secret. From The Grayzone. (Note: Because YouTube is playing games with left-wing and independent websites, you will need to watch the video directly on YouTube.)

  • Viral CIA Recruitment Video Features "Cisgender Millennial" Who Says "I Am Unapologetically Me" from Forbes' YouTube channel. My reaction: If you want to see an example of "woke" propaganda using identity politics, view this as a prime example from the US's Deep State and its prime subversive agency, the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency). I don't know if it is over-the-top as propaganda because they've received a lot of flack or ridicule from some minor news shows, Fox's Tucker Carlson, Lee Camp, and of course Jimmy Dore. Even Newsweek magazine has expressed doubts about it. (Here is an exposé of the real CIA that Oliver Stone has done.) However, the Deep State doesn't use ineffectual propaganda. They have likely tested this on American audiences and determined that much of the American public was susceptible to its message. It must be emphasized for our gullible fellow-Americans that the CIA is engaging in such subversive activities today as illustrated in a recent report by Bernard, a German blogger. This CIA recruitment ad is further evidence--if you need some--that the ruling capitalist class today considers the general American public as enemies to be manipulated.
  • USAID admits to Venezuela regime change fraud by Anya Parampil from The Grayzone. (Note: I've just found that if I access YouTube videos directly from independent websites that I receive an error message. But if I access them directly from YouTube, I succeed. Thus if you access this video from the "Watch on YouTube" caption on the lower left-hand corner, you will succeed.)

  • Why the US Will Continue to Meddle in Thailand... by Brian Berletic from his weblog Land Destroyer Report. (Note: Berletic explains why a different administration will make no difference in US interference in other nations political affairs. He goes on to explain that corporation funded "think tanks" or corporate policy committees fund this interference to influence other nation's policies toward neoliberal policies, or policies that open their countries to make it easier for international corporations to exploit the cheap labor and resources that these nations possess.) My reaction: Although he explains most bills that are introduced to Congress originate in the corporate-funded "think tanks", Berletic doesn't address the ongoing propaganda and disruptive efforts by Deep State agencies like the CIA, NSA, etc. to sponsor and train political movements recently seen in Hong Kong, and now in Russia with riots that back Navalny using outrageous propaganda as Bartlett, an independent journalist, explains in this video.
  • Biden Attacks Farms – Comprehensive War on Global Food Supply – Engineered Famine by Christian from his weblog Ice Age Farmer. My reaction: I cannot agree or disagree with many of the things he says in this 27:39m video, and that is because I don't know farm problems. He is an independent reporter of farmers' concerns about the food supply, and as such I am posting this. I do agree with him about his negative comments in relation to bio-engineering of food and Monsanto's engineered seeds. But on other topics such as cutting back on meat in our diets and his cynical views of ruling class's concern about the climate crisis, I cannot agree with him. In relation to the last topic, I think that the ruling class is trying hard to not let the real climate crisis interfere with their preoccupation with wealth accumulation. Regarding his general view of the Biden administration, I agree that the administration's policies are putting small farmers out of business and promoting Big Ag as would be expected from a capitalist ruling class.
An academic critical media literacy conference warning of the dangers of media censorship has, ironically, been censored by YouTube. The Critical Media Literacy Conference of the Americas 2020 took place without incident online over two days in October and featured a number of esteemed speakers and panels discussing issues concerning modern media studies.
Weeks later, however, the entire video record of the conference — estimated at around 24 hours of material — disappeared from YouTube.
  • Just A Bunch Of Goodfellas THAT LOVE YOU! featuring Jason Bermas on his channel on Rokfin in a 23:32m video satirically commenting on each of the "Goodfellas" loving us so much! (Note: The video starts at about 25 seconds.)
  • Don’t be Fooled that Corporations’ Motives are Moral by Leonard C. Goodman from CounterPunch. (Note: Although at the end of the article, CounterPunch states that "This article was produced by Economy for All, a project of the Independent Media Institute.", I could not find it on either website or any piece on those websites that was authored by Leonard C. Goodman. However, there were an abundance of articles on CounterPunch's website that were by this author.)
This essay is an introduction to the topic of Mass Propaganda and, perhaps more importantly, to a brief series of articles detailing how the US has been for more than 100 years the most propagandised and brainwashed nation in the world. The history of thbis has been buried for generations, but the facts are indisputable. One of the most important elements in this tale, as we shall see, is the employment of propaganda in American war marketing.
This short film, written and narrated by political consultant Jeffrey Peel, compares the UK death toll of January 2015 with this month just past, and asks are we truly in the middle of a pandemic? Or has mass PCR testing simply created a monster with no body?
While you may not agree with every position he takes, there’s no ignoring his figures, or his concern about the personal liberties of every British citizen.
The might of Israel, the power of Washington’s interventionist alliance, the horror of war, the poverty of sanctions, nothing can erode this belief in their ability to withstand the darkness and to find the inextinguishable light that is at the core of their resilience. This is the impenetrable wall of resistance that has enabled Syria and Syrians to survive ten years of collective and devastating war and economic punishment and it is built on the ancient foundations of history, heritage, culture and refusal to kneel or capitulate to external, hostile influences. This wall will never fall.

  • That’s All Folks! by CJ Hopkins, a master satirist who offers his take on the exit of Pres. Trump from the White House and related matters.
  • Catherine Austin Fitts on The State of Our Currencies featuring James Corbett and Catherine Austin Fitts discussing solutions at a high level of abstraction via 33:34m video from The Corbett Report. My reaction: I don't normally post such discussions, but this post sounds so promising. Because their discussion is such a high level of abstraction, I can't understand most of what they are talking about. Can you? But I will be patient and wait for further clarification.
In this article Ehret is doing an obvious parody of a "deprogrammed" Trump supporter which is showing signs of becoming the latest fake theme in today's "news" provided by media corporations in America (see also this post).
Matthew Ehret is developing of following. He is becoming a "political genius" by increasing numbers of acolytes of America and abroad. He joins a list of several other "geniuses" (James Corbett, Derrick Broze, etc.) of American politics who are proposing to lead the way out of the political mess the country is in. Ehret's articles are posted on popular critical websites like Strategic Culture Foundation and Fort Russ News (the latter appears to be posting exclusively his articles). Let me be clear--I don't share this current fawning and fashionable trend. I occasionally post articles authored by these people that shed some light on current problems. Although these "geniuses" function as good critics of American politics, they don't offer any effective solutions to this growing crisis of capitalist rule.
Ehret is another carefully guided well-read person whose mind has been prepared by 75 years of Empire "education" that forbade any reference to Marxist thought or ideas. In 1963 I graduated from a major university with a BA degree in political sociology, but I was never assigned a reading by Marx or Marxist oriented writers! I had to use the university's library to read such literature.
  • Faces of Lockdowns by Amelia Janaskie, Jenin Younes, and Taleed Brown from American Institute for Economic Research. (Note: This post features three people from New York City who comment (via video) about the effects of the pandemic on the people they serve and on themselves. None of the three videos are longer than 12:04m. If this interested you, you may also be interested in a video on how the lockdown is affecting French students.)
Although ordinary people in this article credit Hugo Chávez for their communal structure, I think that such people should be credited for the realization of bottom-up control of their nation of Venezuela come true. They have been severely tested by the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire and have passed the test.
In a two week visit in late 2005 in which we visited various communes and listening to officials, I wasn't impressed by their support. I don't think that the bureaucrats that were appointed by Chavez truly believed that such a project was possible--even Chavez didn't take the communal structure seriously enough. Chavez too often used the communal structure as a political base for his elections, and I found some of the officials in his government unaware of the details of the communal structure. My commentary in 2010 reveals my doubts about the Venezuelan radical experiment.

But thanks to ordinary people like Lemus and Sifontes, the nation is on the way to implementing the dreams of Chavez and the people of Venezuela.

Part 1 of this series on Operation Warp Speed and Race, “The Johns Hopkins, CDC Plan to Mask Medical Experimentation on Minorities as ‘Racial Justice,’” explored Warp Speed’s vaccine allocation plan in depth. That plan utilizes a phased approach aimed at “populations of focus” that had been identified in advance by various government organizations, including the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

The main focus of this allocation strategy is to deliver vaccines first to racial minorities and in such a way as to make them feel “at ease” and not like “guinea pigs.” This is particularly glaring given that these minorities will be receiving an experimental vaccine that allocation-strategy documents admit is likely to cause “certain adverse effects . . . more frequently in certain population subgroups,” with research showing that those “subgroups” most at risk of experiencing adverse effects are these same racial minorities.
The fact that the Florida Department of Health is taking this step is a sign that an increasing number of health professionals and regulators are questioning the accuracy of the PCR test. The PCR is the most common lab test being used to detect COVID-19. This incredibly sensitive technique was developed by Berkeley scientist Kary Mullis, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1993. The test is designed to detect the presence of a virus by amplifying the virus’ genetic material so it can be detected by scientists. The test is viewed as the gold standard, however, it is not without problems.

  • The Great American Firewall: On the Question of Censorship by Danny Haiphong from Black Agenda Report. (One proviso (def.): Freedom of speech is upheld if a person is not considered influential. I can get by with calling for revolution, pointing to a Deep State, criticizing imperial policies, etc. because I am not a major influencer. I write on a Google weblog to express such ideas, but I have received very little harassment except for one incident briefly described here. That way they can have their cake (can proclaim that there is freedom of speech) and eat their cake too--threatening with the loss of their careers anyone who is a major figure from espousing subversive views in any media.)
  • The Future for China by Eric Zuesse from A bird's eye view of the Vineyard. My commentary follows:
Zuesse is a social democrat who loves FDR as an example of a US ruling class that held such promise. He has forgotten or overlooked the history before FDR came on the scene. Zuesse loved the capitalism as was practiced during FDR's administrations while ignoring the earlier history of the numerous massacres by private armies and public militias of union organizers, 12 hour days that workers were forced to work, the cheap child labor employed by capitalists to build their fortunes, the imperialist history of the US from 1898 onwards, the seizure of the control of our money by private banking interests (the Fed), the constant cycle of recessions or depressions since the second half of the 19th century, the history of slavery, Native American massacres, etc.
FDR inherited his wealth from an investor in the opium trade (also see yesterday's post "Protecting the American Opium Trade") who engaged in the drug trade that was forced on China. Old wealth shaped his personality to a large extent much as old wealth shaped John Kennedy and his progrssive politics. FDR and Kennedy had some sympathies for ordinary people and their problems. Both of them were never anti-capitalists--they grew up in families and friends who were steeped in old wealth. These two were the exceptions to a ruling class that has aggressively pursued power, and used power derived from their concentrated wealth to create their own Empire after WWII. John Kennedy was assassinated, and FDR was subjected to an attempted removal from office. Much more typical since WWII is the rise of the neo-fascist element in the ruling class who set the ambitious goal of constructing their own empire.
It appears that the commune structure first articulated by Hugo Chavez and implemented by millions of ordinary folks in Venezuela evolved into a powerful force that today has saved Venezuela from the imperialist ravages of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. Together with the people of China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, etc. they are standing up to the Empire and surviving. Eventually this combination of forces can defeat the Empire. It will most likely be too late to save humans, but such people will serve to redeem their species marred by the hideous stain left by self-serving ruling classes during the last several thousand years.
As I recently explained in a major post why US activists cannot succeed in overcoming this ruling class:
The fundamental reason why US activists and revolutionary movements have not been effective, nor in the future will they be, is that they have been subject to a long and comprehensive process of capitalist propaganda and indoctrination. As a result, working people along with fake leaders are ignorant of American history and of the heinous effects of US actions on the rest of the world. They have been divided into mutually distrustful and hostile camps, brainwashed, obedient, distracted by vacuous entertainment, and unhealthy due to capitalist propaganda that would only allow them to be mere spectators in sports, and from a poor diet of cheap"fast foods" prepared for them by giant corporations. There is no reason to expect such people to lead or form an effective revolutionary movement. What we will see at most are pseudo movements and fake leaders who promise solutions to our many problems. We will probably need to look beyond the people of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire to see genuine leaders and revolutionary movements.

The US and its allies have launched a massive information attack. The goal is to accuse China of spreading the virus, impose sanctions and other restrictions or use the threat of their imposition in a geopolitical struggle. It is possible that the US may use the situation as an excuse to refuse to pay its debt to China.
My commentary: In the land of capitalism giving stuff away for free is a sin against the system which places profit as the cornerstone of the system.
My only criticism of this article is that Macleod writes that the "government fears" this. What Americans must realize that the government is only a facade that serves a similar function as the facades of western towns do for the Hollywood film industry. While the latter facades are useful methods to reconstruct western towns of the 19th century, the government facade serves to hide the predatory capitalist ruling class behind a facade of "democracy", elections, a civil rights, rule of law, etc. This view of America has been engrained in US citizens by propaganda over centuries and in all institutions, and as a result we see the facade as real. The author should write that "the capitalist ruling class fears China will give away ....".
My reaction (I only scanned it.) : This is a lengthy piece full of documentations that support his arguments.  Yet, I can't help but notice that Zuesse is having a harder time denying the class structure of American society, its ruling class, and the system that they derive from--capitalism. He refers to the ruling class as the "super-rich (the country’s actual dictators)" as if the system and its class structure had nothing to do with the "super-rich". He hints at revolution. So, this is progress. Zuesse may eventually turn out to be a consciousness raising agent that Lenin referred to in his document "What is to be done?" Let us hope so.
  • A Massive “COVID-19” Cover Up Is Underway & ‘US Mercenaries’ Caught In Venezuelan Coup Attempt by Ryan Cristián from The Last American Vagabond. (Note: This is only the lead-off report of the attempted coup in Venezuela. This report is only a part of The Daily Wrap Up in which Cristián reports on a variety of news reports. If you have time to listen to the entire program, an hour and 40 minutes, I recommend it and other of their posts; but I do not have the time and immunology expertise to post them on my website.)

The fictional pandemic exercise titled Event 201 was a high level simulation exercise that took place on October 18, 2019, at The Pierre, a luxury hotel in Manhattan NY. High-level global participants gathered to explore ideas as to how to mitigate devastating worldwide economic and societal impacts that would result from “a severe, highly transmissible intercontinental outbreak”. [Source] The exercise was built around a fictionalized CAPS virus, a naturally occurring coronavirus (not unlike SARS or MERS) which originated in bats, but for the fictional exercise, it had emerged from pigs.
The event was held by Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
To help you to decide at least tentatively, you should also read an article by F. William Engdahl entitled "Coronavirus, Vaccines and the Gates Foundation" from Global Research.)
  • Why Assume There Will Be a 2020 election? General Butler and the ‘Wall Street Putsch’ Revisited by Matthew Ehret from Strategic Culture Foundation. (Note: Ehret, educated in Canada, knows the history of fascism far better than nost Americans. US schools, and people "educated" in these schools, are subject to revised history that suits the interests of the ruling capitalist class. Although FDR saved capitalism that is controlled by mostly sociopathic people, he was a moral human being that abhorred the suffering of working men and women.

How corporate forces are lobbying for a coup in Venezuela

Click here if you wish to access the video report by Thomas Hedges directly from The Grayzone.

This Grayzone post, which includes a transcript, by Hedges reveals the backgrounds of the leadership of this well-connected gang that took-over the Venezuelan Embassy on May 17 from the protestors who were given permission by the Venezuelan government to enter and protect their embassy.

Pompeo's Moment of Truth on Venezuela Recorded; Tell Us What's Really Happening!

Click here to access a post featuring a podcast entitled "The Critical Hour", a podcast by Wilmar Leon from Sputnik News. (Updated at 9:40 AM CT.)

I was impressed by the sophistication of the guests he had on his program to discuss three issues: the failure of the Empire to remove Maduro's administration from Venezuela (roughly from 0:00-25:30), the economic warfare imposed against China and threats of such recently directed against Mexico (roughly 25:30-44:00), and the aggressive campaign against journalists especially in Australia, but also in other places in the Empire (44:17-56:00).

I believe that these segments illustrate my thesis that the bumbling Trump administration, although being pressed by the neoliberal directors of the Empire (aka "Deep State"), are reacting desperately and recklessly to recent setbacks by concocting uninformed counter-attacks in their quest to preserve the Empire's domination of the world. See if you agree.

I continue to be impressed by Russian news and analysis sources whether funded by the Russian government or function independently: Sputnik, RT, New Eastern Outlook, and Strategic Culture Foundation.

Venezuelan Coup Fails & So Does CNN [MSNBC, etc.]

from The Jimmy Dore Show.

Like Jimmy Dore (at 11:15m) I can't figure out why the traditional very conservative Fox News hired Tucker Carlson to deliver more accurate news regarding the US attempt to overthrow the Venezuelan government. Also, I can't figure out what happened to the Democratic Party which formerly at least pretended to represent unions and working people. Has the US political establishment done a flip-flop?
