We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

Posts that I especially recommend for Wednesday, March 31, 2021 (I ran out of time)

  • Fear of Fairy Tales by John Steppling from his weblog. (Note: Steppling is currently living with his family in Norway. He has a strong background as an American playwright, director of plays, etc., and he apparently is highly educated. I find his posts rather challenging because I don't know how his frequent quotes and images relate to the substance of his articles. He is obviously very disturbed particularly with the current pandemic particularly its impact on children.)
šŸ’„Thus, I especially recommend Steppling's rather lengthy (1:23:54) conversation (via some technology) with Cory Morningstar, Hiroyuki Hamada, and Johan Eddebo found  at Aesthetic Resistance (Post #35) (also in the link at the end of the above article). I encourage you to listen to this profound conversation among these highly educated people regarding the significance of the pandemic and its impact on people.) This is a best post.
Johnstone writes in the article "Someone who says it’s human nature to be selfish, competitive, predatory, exploitative, tyrannical, vicious, brutish and violent isn’t telling you about human nature, they’re telling you about their own nature." Maybe so, but she apparently doesn't yet realize that the capitalist system is based on this view of human nature. Capitalists, and those unwitting people that support them, likely wouldn't dare admit to the negative characteristics but would swear that people are basically selfish. Thus, they would go on to support the capitalist system either completely oblivious to the more negative consequent behaviors listed above and would offer absurd rationalizations for them.
We are fed propaganda to cover-up the heinous crimes the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire commits directly or indirectly. Read a current post entitled The True Story of the Rwandan Genocide from Current Affairs for an example of a major crime (a massacre of at least 500,000 people). This is about who really was responsible for what has been "universally acknowledged as one of the worst atrocities of the 20th century".
  • Twisting the Law by Steve Martinot from CounterPunch. (Note: The following note was published within the article following the article: "[This article contains excerpts from a work in progress called “Brutality: a Study of Police Culture in the US,” which is also looking for a publisher.]". You might also be interested in this post from CGTM, a major Chinese news corporation, via Reuters.

  • How the Rich Distort Politics by Rod Driver from his weblog Elephants in the Room. My reaction: Read this if you still have doubts about the sustainability of capitalism.
  • It’s Time to Bust the Tech Talent Pipeline by Isobel van Hagen from Current Affairs. (Note: Read this article if you want to know about the latest CIA effort to recruit young students into serving the capitalist ruling class's Big Tech corporations.)
Palantir, the CIA-backed software startup, provides near-omniscient “crime-predicting” military surveillance for U.S. intelligence operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. It has also built technology accused of creating racist feedback loops in “predictive policing” software. The company, which recently went public, was co-founded by Peter Thiel—the Trump-backing venture capitalist billionaire who, in a display of comic book-style villainy, literally wants to inject himself with young people’s blood.
Shea's argument is correct that the CIA's Western firewall is complete in the sense that they control all major organs of media corporations and that they will use this giant propaganda machine, combined with AI, to ever greater efforts to confuse people and propagandize people within the USA and throughout the world.

However, I disagree with his allegiance to Stalinism and his identification of the latter with Marxism/Leninism. Stalinism is a worn-out version of Marxism-Leninism which created a bureaucratic class under Joseph Stalin's paranoid control in the Soviet Union.

The Russian people saved themselves from being slaves of capitalism under the control of German Nazis which were strongly supported by international capitalists. This is the basic reason that his type of rule ended with his death and all pretensions of working class control vanished with Stalin's disappearance. With the failure of the classic fascist nations in WWII, mostly English-speaking capitalists emerged and organized their own fascist empire after the war under the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire.

However, the peoples of Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and all the exploited peoples of planet Earth have risen from the ashes of WWII to confront this powerful, hegemonic Empire, and it looks like they are going to win. But their win will be a Pyrrhic victory because the victors will then face the onslaught of a destabilizing climate. The latter will result in the inability to support human and most other life forms due to the devastation of the environment and, finally, the destabilization of the climate caused by capitalist rule over the past several centuries.

The strength of this article is in the descriptions of the fact that the CIA has taken over the control of major media corporations and has turned them into a media of 24/7 Empire propaganda.
This article contains one expression of Russian and China fantasies, but totally ignores the reality of the climate crisis.

After WWII some nations which had devastated economies and other underdeveloped nations rose under the difficulties of the Cold War to form mixed economies which combined forms of capitalist enterprises under the guidance and supervision of socialist ruling classes. China was a prime example and the first to combine the two systems. These were compromises that suited the advanced capitalists of the Empire because they initially were able to profit from China's cheap labor. The Soviet Union soon collapsed and reformed with a largely mixed economy, and the two nations led the way to lead all other nations wanting to be independent from the burdens of serving exclusively the nations of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire.

China and Russia are leaders of this mixed economy movement throughout the world, but I believe they are indulging in fantasies of their own much like the more purely capitalist countries of the Empire. Although members of both ruling classes are expressing more concern about the developing destabilization of the climate, they are both pursuing capitalist development policies. Thus, those nations of the Empire have their Great Reset fantasy; but Russia and China have other fantasies that largely ignore the developing climate crisis, but necessary for their dedication of independence from the hegemonic Empire.

  • Smart Cities: Digital Prisons of The Great Reset by Derrick Broze from The Last American Vagabond. My commentary follows:

The Great Reset is all about our masters' fantasy: the transnational capitalist ruling classes, who are directors of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire and have a fantasy about saving their system of capitalism. Our billionaire masters are finally concerned about preventing the climate crisis and destroying their beloved system of capitalism, which is a system of organized plunder of the Earth's resources and the labor of working people.

Thus, it is more of the same: the ruling class is trying to co-opt us into following their self-serving plan to save capitalism for the future. If you like their past record of exploitation, never-ending wars, extreme inequality, full-spectrum control of everything, etc., you will absolutely love their plan for the Great Reset of capitalism. Brose expressed it in a nutshell when he wrote:

In truth, the push for smart cities, the UN SDGs, and the Great Reset is based in a deeper agenda to monitor, control, and direct all life on the planet using technology. The true agenda of the WEF and the United Nations is to establish a global Technocratic State where alleged experts and technologists make decisions for the vast majority of the people in the name of saving the environment.

The description of our masters' plans sound familiar. Doesn't it sound like what we experienced during this pandemic where dissenting voices about pandemic policies, contrary medical evidence, and scientific arguments from equally qualified experts are all dismissed or silenced? And you are confined to your homes, must wear masks, and get "vaccinated" with potentially unsafe and unknown substances in order to work or travel? And they're promising to make us happy despite owning nothing--because they will own, and thereby control, everything! Do you want such a world?

Just because they have recognized (too late) that unlimited growth, which capitalism requires, on a finite planet is impossible, we should follow them meekly and their self-serving fantasy-plan. I think not!
Words cannot convey how chilling and authoritarian this all is: watching government officials, hour after hour, demand censorship of political speech and threaten punishment for failures to obey. As I detailed last month, the U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that the state violates the First Amendment’s free speech guarantee when they coerce private actors to censor for them — exactly the tyrannical goal to which these hearings are singularly devoted.

And he concludes with this statement:

We are taught from childhood that a defining hallmark of repressive regimes is that political officials wield power to silence ideas and people they dislike, and that, conversely, what makes the U.S. a “free” society is the guarantee that American leaders are barred from doing so. It is impossible to reconcile that claim with what happened in that House hearing room over the course of five hours on Thursday.
The team found that human activities have caused the radiative forcing on Earth to increase by about 0.5 Watts per square meter from 2003 to 2018. The increase is mostly from greenhouse gases emissions from things like power generation, transport and industrial manufacturing. Reduced reflective aerosols are also contributing to the imbalance.

  • Speaking Naturally with Dr Geert Vanden Bossche featuring Rob Verkerk PhD interviewing ex-pharma, ex-GAVI, ex-Gates vaccinologist Dr Geert Vanden Bossche in a 1:27:39 video from Alliance for Natural Health International. (Note: This article has been re-posted by Children's Health Defense). My reaction: Because I have not had the training necessary to evaluate Bossche's argument and my reduced hearing of what he argues (particularly with heavily accented English, but due primarily to advanced age), I cannot say that his position is correct or not. But I insist that all highly-trained specialists be heard in the efforts to prevent Covid-19 infections, and I condemn all efforts to silence these experts which have been occurring in profit-dedicated capitalist societies.

  • šŸ’„Why COVID Policies Are A War Against Humanity by Neenah Payne from Activist Post. This is a best post. (I only scanned this, but it provides so much good material and so many important links to documentation. I will read it carefully later.) My brief and later (at 6:36 PM CDT) commentary follows:
Although I have some objections and qualifications regarding this post, I generally approve of the importance of this post. Regarding my objections and qualifications, I object to the sanctification of our "Founding Fathers" in the (38:49m) interview with Vera Sharav. The only member of the Founding Fathers who objected to some of actions of the rest of the ruling class at that time was Jefferson. But he also had slaves which were needed to furnish labor on his plantation.

I also object to her propaganda-like allegations that (at 21:49m) the "same thing happened in Soviet regime and the Chinese regime". She has obviously been fed this information as indoctrination to hate the Soviet Union and Communist China. But what she directly experienced in Nazi Germany and the USA is undoubtedly true.
I don't know if this event is the global trade disrupting event that the author makes of it (with documentation), but it fits within his theory about the coming food crisis, fulfilling the Great Reset agenda, and that we should all plan to localize our food supply. It is the latter that I differ from him.

I see a growing movement of contemporary activists that want to localize our lifestyles to cope with the transnational effort (neoliberalism) to globalize all trade and to supply our daily requirements by major corporations. This development (see also this and this) promises physical and other separations from the neoliberal agenda of advanced capitalist nations as a solution to all of our social problems. This is dead wrong.

Not only does it take away from efforts to topple capitalist regimes and replace them with real socialist systems, but it also supplies a wrong solution to most of the major problems confronting us: a world facing a global nuclear war, extreme economic inequality, and the presence of tiny self-serving ruling classes and dictatorial regimes.
  • New World Next Week with James Evan Pilato from The Corbett Report.

After 10 Years of Civil War in Syria, US (Quietly) Declares Defeat but Won’t Go Home by Alan Macleod from Mint Press News. My reaction: US forces continue to occupy 1/3 of Syrian territory and bleed the Syrian economy of their precious oil resources. Maybe the ruling class has settled for a nation that is weak and unstable. It looks to me like the ruling class has turned much of its aggressiveness and rage from foreign affairs toward potential activist groups within the USA by promoting policies of surveillance and increasing onerous laws against their civil rights.

  • Washington's Obsession with China Expands by Brian Berletic, an ex-Marine living with his family in Thailand, from his weblog Land Destroyer Report. (Note: Berletic reveals that the actions by the US government indicate that the primary concern of its foreign policy toward China is motivated by a concern to advance the profits US corporations and other transnational corporations under the control of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire.) My reaction: This applies to all policies promoted by the Empire. It is the expression of neofascism (essentially governments corrupted by the promotion of power and profits by the Empire's ruling capitalist classes) which saw the replacement of the fascist nations led by Nazi Germany in the last century with the new US/Anglo/Zionist Empire since then.
In the ensuing days of meetings, it should not come as a surprise that very little in the way of serious conflict resolution occurred. In fact, the only solid points of agreement which the U.S. side would permit involved two joint protocols that fall perfectly into alignment with the Malthusian closed system objectives of the Great Reset agenda attempting to reign in a post-nation state world order in the wake of the oncoming economic meltdown.

Eric Zuesse agrees with Ehret in his latest article.
Haiti is heading for days of great misfortune. Haitians, for the most part, are increasingly convinced that the United Nations considers them as enemies to be eliminated. We are no longer in the conspiratorial scenarios in which Haitians were seen as prime targets by resentful Western leaders, thirsting for revenge for the 1803 defeat of the French generals at Saint-Domingue. For those readers who think it is inconceivable to claim that the United Nations intends to establish a regime of terror in Haiti, let them think again by looking at what has happened or is still happening in countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Iraq, Libya, Syria and, above all, in Egypt, where the arrival of the Muslim Brotherhood to power democratically led to a military coup and a very bloody repression (1).

The United Nations is trying to establish a regime of terror in Haiti. To prove it, ....

It doesn’t take long to realize that we aren’t having a debate about the science of vaccines. We aren’t debating the authority of the evidence. We are debating the authority of the person. The most ingenious thing the pharmaceutical industry ever did was purchase the majority of the advertising for every network and cable news program. With that grand gesture, the media became little more than a pharmaceutical industry spokesperson, functioning as its mouthpiece of propaganda. The media doesn’t report “science.”

Also, read about the legal victory in Connecticut achieved by the efforts of the Freedom Alliance.
  • Canadian Economist Dispels 4 Myths About Socialism by Steve Lalla from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: Although Canadian political economist Radhika Desai said in a recent interview: "While Desai acknowledged that there were problems that led to famines in Russia and China, she added that the severity and mismanagement of the crises were perhaps exaggerated.", she didn't mention the vigorous subversive and military attacks by the leading capitalist nations on any nation that even considers a move to public ownership of their economy or in any way demonstrates independent policies from the predations of capitalist corporations. Also, she omitted the constant anti-socialist propaganda that people in capitalist countries are subject to.
  • Interview with Vandana Shiva: Bill Gates and the philantro-imperialism. Posted by Pangea, an Italian channel of YouTube in a 26:37m video. (Note: Shiva explains how billionaires and the largest foundations, established by major corporations, have taken control of the world (or the nations of the Empire and much of the United Nations) through their purchase of patents (intellectual property), and the disastrous effects on ordinary people throughout the planet.)
  • “The Lion and the Eagle”: The Interaction of the British and American Empires (1783-1972): A review of Kathleen Burk's book by Jim Miles from Global Research. My reaction: I like to post real history articles because my fellow Americans have been largely fed fake histories in their schooling. Miles corrects some of the mistakes Burk makes to build a sound history of the collaboration of both the British and the American Empires to coalesce in the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire that threatens much of the world today.

Posts that I especially recommend for Tuesday, March 23, 2021

(Sorry for the late posting for Tuesday--I have been preoccupied by personal matters--I thought I had already uploaded it.)
  • A History of Warring on the Homefront by Mickey Huff from Dissident Voice (originally from Project Censored). (Note: I am posting this article/video from Dissident Voice because the latter have conveniently included the film of which this review on the film is based. Also, this is essential reading/viewing for all those fellow Americans who missed the actual history of American working people and were brainwashed by their history classes in the USA.)
  • OPCW Whistle Blowers Debunk Cover-Up & U.S. Propaganda featuring Jimmy Dore interviewing Aaron MatĆ© of The Grayzone what has learned about the disinformation and censorship involved in the ruling class's reporting  of "chemical attacks" in Syria directed by the Assad government from Dore's Rokfin channel (26:22m).
  • Thoughts On The Iraq Invasion by Caitlin Johnstone, an Australian independent blogger, from her weblog. My reaction: She knows far more than Alfred McCoy, a prominent American historian, does about the mindset of the current American ruling class. Now that the core of the ruling class, combining the resources and wealth of the USA, the British Empire, and international Zionist Jewry, is back under Joe Biden, they intend to resurrect their longstanding project to rule the world (commentary).
  • Dispatches from the Congo: The Truth Behind US Claims of ISIS Presence posted on Internationalist 360° featuring Kambale Musavuli from the Centre of Research on the Congo explaining, in a 21:09m video, how US-backed forces are engaging in massacres on behalf of corrupt political leaders while also covering this in media reports as "fighting terrorism" and protecting "human rights" of local populations. My reaction: Surprise, surprise! (a cynical remark).

  • Why Do They Keep Doing It? by Patrick Armstrong from Strategic Culture Foundation (based in Russia but they post international writers). My reaction: It's what the ruling class in the USA has been devoted to since the US entered WWII--building a capitalist empire (commentary). This goal was to maximize their wealth and to enhance their power. It has become an obsession without which life has no meaning for them.
This post is dripping with cynicism by Engdahl who has business expertise combined with knowledge of geopolitics, however is someone lacking in knowledge upon the impending climate crisis that scientists have studied and have warned us about. This criticism also applies to a number of experts such as Guy McPherson, who has expertise in physical sciences and has specialized in global warming, but who sometimes wanders into other areas like psychology, anthropology, philosophy, etc. People have an expertise in a certain area and must stick to that area, and not assume an all-knowing wisdom.

Christian Westbrook (Ice Age Farmer) is a farmer who has dabbled a bit in sunspots and concludes that the whole ecology movement is suspect, that there is no climate crisis, etc. Engdahl clearly is a climate-warming denier even though he lacks scientific knowledge that McPherson has and the many independent scientists who have been warning us that the destabilization of our climate is driving us to extinction.

Engdahl, Westbrook, and activists have been duped so many times by ruling class experts that it is understandable why they question everything and distrust everything that authorities tell them, but they even distrust what more independent experts say. These examples, and many others, are why I don't have faith that Western activists can achieve a recognition of who their real opponents are, and replace capitalism with a socialist system within the time remaining before humans become extinct.

However, this post is valuable in that Engdahl has information about how members of the US/Anglo/Zionist ruling class are conspiring to save capitalism, a system that has given capitalists so much wealth and power. Top members of the ruling class have clearly listened to the independent physical scientists and their research about the growing climate crisis. Thus, they have come up with a plan (too late) called the Great Reset in a desperate attempt to save themselves from this crisis. But it is far too late, and anyway capitalism and a sustainable climate are a contradiction that they refuse to recognize because of their obsession with wealth and power that the system supplies them with such abundance.
  • The TRUTH About War Crimes featuring Lee Camp, via his YouTube channel in an 11:20m post, using sarcastic humor to attack our mainstream news so conveniently furnished by media corporations to brainwash Americans. My reaction: He uses reports from alternative media, which few people watch, as a means to attack ubiquitous reports by media corporations like CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, NPR, PBS, and their local affiliates. However, most Americans watch and take seriously the latter reports as witnessed during this pandemic by complying with lockdown orders, wearing masks, social distancing, taking their vaccines, etc. without questions or doubts.

Epilogue – Captain America –The Man with Two Brains

My reaction: I'm not sure about his argument about Americans having two disconnected mind-sets, but I can agree with his last paragraph:

This is what Lippman and Bernays (and their European masters) did to the American people – reprogrammed an entire nation in equally as brutal a fashion as did the US with the Philippines, and the UK with Hong Kong, in this case creating an entire society of deluded, hysterical, and profoundly sick killer-consumers with a totally fictional history. It is probably fair to say that these men had good and fertile material to work with, a composition of the worst features of Christianity, native ignorance, and insatiable greed, but still we need to give credit where credit is due. Americans have always been racist and violent, but it was Lippman and Bernays who turned them into serial killers celebrating their Afghan “bug splats” (1) in the national media. And it was in this fertile and evil soil that American Presidents, Secretaries of State and Defense Secretaries so lushly sprouted into the longest string of sociopathic genocidal killers in history. Democracy never had a chance.

Oh, I forgot that most Americans don't know their true history as influenced by Bernays and Lippman. Romanoff goes into detail about this history in parts 4 and 5--links to those articles I have provided above.
  • America's Secret Government features Chris Hodges, in a 27:09m of his YouTube channel, interviewing David Talbot, author of The Devil's Chessboard, about the growth of the "secret government" initially under the Dulles brothers (Alan and John Foster Dulles). My commentary follows:
This is a true history of the USA's establishment of a fascist-like cabal of ruling class figures who have attained overwhelming power and established the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire replacing the fascist empire of Nazi Germany. Talbot only gives us a smattering of details of the history of this Deep State (Talbot uses this term at about 21:54m) which has now rewritten history, infiltrated all media corporations, and spread their agents throughout all US institutions and abroad in Europe.

This very cleverly hidden Deep State has for many years total control over all institutions and government of the USA and most of their Empire of which contemporary activists have only a rudimentary understanding. I have grown up with this development since the end of WWII and became aware of this development following the assassination of the Kennedy brothers and the constant lies fed by our media corporations during the Vietnam War. I have posted many articles warning of this development, the most important and most recent of which is my commentary for this post.

To attain an understanding of this insidious growth of fascism in the USA and the brainwashing you received from every institution, most important of which are schools you attended, you need to read many of the books that I recommended on the right-hand side of this weblog.

  • World Wide Rally For Freedom featuring James Corbett and James Evan Pilato in a 28:34m video first commenting on media corporation's reporting on the upcoming worldwide protests of the pandemic restrictions. After about 18 minutes they talk about censorship issues.
The ruling capitalist class has used the social identity trick for many years to elect first Barack Obama and then in their attempt to elect Hillary Clinton. Now they have expanded their scope of operations to other social identity groups and smear anyone who challenges them (in addition to anyone who questions their pandemic policies). They do this in order to divide us into hating each other, to distract us from forming other ideas that might be influenced by class politics, and to divert our attention away from real issues of inequality under a capitalist system.

I think they expanded their psychology operation to extend to other identity groups after they failed to elect Hillary Clinton to the presidency. But they saw it as useful because it greatly influenced the upper-middle-class of college-educated professionals which is their core constituency. They drew on their highly trained advertising and public relations experts to study how to "sell" ruling class policies to the rest of the American society. I think Eric London was right when he wrote the following:

Identity politics has become a key mechanism through which the next 9 percent situated below the top 1 percent advances its grievances within the political establishment, fighting for “space” in the universities, trade unions, political parties, state apparatus, and corporate media. This layer, which forms a principal social base for the Democratic Party, is generally pro-war and supportive of the right-wing policies that have produced a soaring stock market.

Comics like Jimmy Dore exposed their feminist trick, and radical film reviewers like Michael Walsh did likewise in his review of Hollywood film. Satirists like CJ Hopkins cited in 2018 the advantages that this project of social identity had for our masters in the ruling class. He argued that its appeal extended to other groups and all classes of society. But our masters didn't quit--they had finally found the magic key to the manipulation of the general population.

Over the years the public opinion shapers improved on his project by using it against major dissidents to control and limit their influence on the general population. They discovered last year the benefits of declaring a pandemic: it enabled them to add censorship to their project by using "fact- checkers" to prohibit the use of privately owned social platforms by disobedient dissidents in order to limit their influence. Now they have turned their new weapon on the likes of Glenn Greenwald and Katie Herzog whose writings challenged their newfound weapon. This could not be tolerated. The two in this post, besides commiserating with each other, explain the victimization as a phenomenon of recent converts to prior forbidden social identities as the source of the attacks on them. However, unlike Walsh and Hopkins, the two do not explicitly link this recent persecution to a ruling class that doesn't like their brand of independent journalism.
  • The Puppet Masters: Is There Really a Deep State? by Philip Geraldi from Strategic Culture Foundation (based in Russia, but independent and international). My reaction: For a long time I have suspected Geraldi to be an agent of one of the Empire's many secret services, and now I am sure. You see, they have heavily infiltrated many news agencies located in the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire in order to shape public opinion according to the orders of the Deep State. For the past several years Geraldi has posed as a supporter of Palestinian rights and in opposition to Israeli policies to the extent that one could label him with an anti-Semitic bias. However, now that he is firmly established in various publications and has collected an audience of mostly left-wingers, his bosses in the Deep State ordered him to obscure the CIA, the foremost US secret service, and gaslight the Deep State, the hidden, real government of the USA. In this article he poo-poos the concept of a Deep State, reverses the role they play in relation to their secret services, and he conflates the term "Deep State" with "establishment". Contrary to his assertion, the concept of "deep state" was not coined by a Turkish author, but by Peter Dale Scott. You see, for more than 50 years, I have observed and read about the subversive actions of the CIA, the hidden government represented by the Deep State, and I've developed an advanced "nose" for detecting such fake opinion-shapers. In this case, the stench is overwhelming.
  • Myanmar: Hidden Opposition Violence by Brian Berletic from his weblog Land Destroyer Report. My reaction: I have covered Berletic's reports, when he was known as "Tony Cartalucci", for many years, and I've always found them to be reliable. In this post he takes a report from a Western news agency and shows by reading line by line how it is scripting reports from other "color revolutions", whose activists are funded via Western NGOs, to hide what is really going on--starting a revolution in Myanmar.

Although Greenwald lambasts the journalist profession with a "holier than thou" tone, he only lamely examines the reasons why most of the profession has been corrupted. It is the corruption of this profession that is the root of so much ignorance among ordinary Americans about what their ruling class and its government are doing.

The corruption of government is another subject that needs exploring by brave (suicidal) people, and a few are doing this. Many members of the legal profession, of which Greenwald is a member, collude in government with liars in the secret services, corporation execs, and the whole fascist Deep State. Maybe he should stick to his own profession with his lofty principles. It is the story that needs to be reported, but a relatively few people are doing it, and mostly in alternative media. These few courageous people are constantly faced with innumerable difficulties such as begging for funding from the public, lack of resources to do their job, constantly labeled by mainstream journalists as engaging in "conspiracy theories", and under constant attack by ruling class censors posing as "fact-checkers", etc.

The major problem is the overwhelming power of the capitalist leviathan that has grown to the fascist monster that it is during the past several hundred years. Oh, it was cute as an infant and few people saw that it had the potential to become the bĆŖte noire that it is today. Nowadays, it is in control of an empire, all institutions therein, control of nearly all jobs and careers, and in control of resources, wealth, and power that could only be dreamed about by earlier ruling classes.
  • For Leviathan, it’s so cold in Alaska by Pepe Escobar from "The Saker" weblog. (Note: Escobar, a Brazilian journalist, brings his great geopolitical expertise to focus on two meetings between two top antagonists--the super-aggressive US/Anglo/Zionist Empire versus those nations (Russia-China-Iran alliance) which insist on a multipolar world. You will need to know what he means when he references "the Quad"; also here are the lyrics to Caroline Says II.)
  • DISCUSS: President Magufuli dead at 61 from Off-Guardian. My reaction: This is what invariably happens to those leaders who oppose the Empire's policies and actions. The leaders don't even have to be from a foreign country. The assassination of the Kennedy brothers demonstrates this.

  • šŸ’„Intersectional Imperialism: A Wholesome Menace by Alex Rubinstein from his weblog on Substack. This is a best post. My reaction: This post is a most revealing exposĆ© of identity politics ("wokeism") and how it is used to legitimize the most heinous acts and policies of the capitalist ruling class both within and without the USA. This strategy has its roots in the advanced technology of advertising so necessary to sell all the shoddy and unnecessary products of late-stage capitalism--the selling of anything.
  • Do U.S. and UK Have the World’s Most-Censored Press? by Eric Zuesse from Strategic Culture Foundation. My reaction: Although Zuesse avoids Marxist terms like ruling class, and instead prefers feudal words like "aristocracy" because a Marxist lexicon is verboten in the advanced capitalist societies, his description of the ruling class and their fake version of democracy is "spot-on".
Wet bulb temperature sounds almost comical, but the implications of it's [sic] extremes could not be more serious. And as our planet's atmosphere continues to warm, our tropical regions move ever closer to posing that existential threat to billions of people.

  • šŸ’„James Corbett Interview – COVID-19 Censorship, Technocracy & The Amazing Country Of Digital Gulag features Ryan CristiĆ”n in a discussion lasting nearly an hour and seven minutes with Corbett, a Canadian, regarding Patreon's letter that effectively tries to censor him, problems with Japan's postal system, and the coming digital gulag which will imprison all of us by restricting our communication of information. This is a best post. My reaction: Of course, the digital gulag is powered by the private ownership of communication-technology under the rules of capitalism in contrast to Corbett's arguments that focuses on government authorities. Of course, government authorities are controlled by billionaires in the capitalist ruling class.
  • 5 former OPCW officials join prominent voices to call out Syria cover-up by Aaron MatĆ© from The Grayzone. (This post offers a recent update regarding the UN investigation of the crimes committed in Syria involving the White Helmets. a propaganda organization used by US & British intelligence agencies to help enlist support for their war efforts in Syria from people who live in the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire.)
  • Do we know what we’re doing? by Tone Lanzillo from Duluth Reader, an alternative website in Duluth, Minnesota. My reaction: I strongly suspect that this post applies to all US cities.

  • Mark Carney: value or price? by Michael Roberts from his weblog. My reaction: Roberts discloses how one of our masters in the Empire's ruling class really thinks.
  • American Pravda: Covid-19, Its Impact and Origins After One Year by Ron Unz from The Unz Review. (Note: This is a rather lengthy article, but an excellent one.) My reaction: I differ with him in that I strongly suspect that this devious sub-project is related to the Great Reset project to reset the existing capitalist system to be a sustainable economy that can survive the destabilization of the climate. However, I entirely agree with his conclusion that it was a project conspired by the directorate of the Empire's ruling class and executed by secret agencies of the Empire. The Deep State of the USA have never ceased their interest in bio-weapons which had its roots in the Korean War. (Read This Must be the Place by Dave Chaddock.)
An honest examination into the origin of SARS-COV2 suggests a danger more pernicious than the virus itself. How much of scientific opinion is dictated by non-scientific interests? How many other “consensus” positions are rooted in inexcusably poor reasoning and assumptions? If we can only rely on independent researchers to bring clarity to these topics, who is going to give them a voice? If there is a fact that can be extracted from this debate it would be that “trusting the science” and trusting what a media source says about “the science” can be two very different things.
When the Bulletin first took on climate change as an area of focus, it might have seemed an odd fit. “As they say, nuclear can do us in in an afternoon; climate change will take much longer,” Kennette Benedict, the Bulletin’s former director and publisher, who oversaw the inclusion of climate change in the clock-setting, told me. But the two crises are now an inseparable apocalyptic pair. If memories of fallout shelters and air raid drills make rising sea levels and extreme temperatures feel more pressing, then so be it.

  • šŸ’„Bill Gates’ Foundation Funded ‘DNA Mining’ Using COVID-19 Tests featuring Ryan CristiĆ”n in an excerpt (36:34m) from his regular show "The Daily Wrap Up 3/6/21" (lasting nearly five hours) posted on The Last American Vagabond. (Note: CristiĆ”n reports with documented evidence numerous unsavory connections between not only Big Pharma working under "public-private partnerships" with government agencies, but China as well.  He reads extensively from an article published online by the British Medical Journal (BMJ) shocking revelations which disclose the corrupting influences of international pharmaceutical corporations, in collusion with various governments, Congressional leaders, Bill Gates, etc.) This is a best post. My reaction follows: There have been so many qualified people who have raised serious questions and objections regarding these vaccines (here is another) that I wouldn't get a vaccine if they paid me a small fortune to get it.
  • The 4 Steps To Evolving Past Capitalism features Lee Camp in an 11:54m video via his YouTube channel explaining four steps (with occasional interjections of humor) that we can take to lead us away from capitalism.
