Grand Thesis: Socialism is not only necessary, it is a matter of survival of the human species and other species (This is an essay in its final edited form except for needed improvements.)

I am a socialist. This paper is not an argument that you should be socialist, but a perspective after a lifetime studying geopolitical realities. (I have been a socialist from 19 years of age, but I have fleshed-out my simplistic 19-year-old ideology by subsequent world events. (I am presently nearly 87 years of age.)

 

I am a socialist as China defines it: socialism with Chinese characteristics, that is, history and culture of each nation should reflect national characteristics of socialism. In China private enterprises are under the firm control of the Chinese Communist Party, and as such the billionaires are not allowed to takeover the government. Nowadays, socialism means the ownership and control by ordinary people of economic institutions instead of a class of "owners" (billionaire capitalists). In the USA, which has a capitalist system, the ruling capitalist class largely serve themselves in the forms of wealth and power as a class instead of society as a whole behind a facade of "democracy". I choose socialism with American characteristics as a system that can save humanity--if it's not too late. That means the level of ownership and control should be decided by ordinary people excluding the outsized, even exclusvie, infuence of the billionaire capitalists. In the future (if we have one--capitalism: its wars and its compulsive use of fossil fuels are driving us to extinction) ordinary people, instead of a billionaire capitalist class of directors (mostly financial capitalists) in a well-hidden in the Deep State will decide what constitutes "public ownership" of a society. It means that our government will be directed by ordinary people instead major capitalists, and in which the economy serves the interests of the entire society instead of transnational capitalists or even major industrial capitalists. There would be no "deep state" in our nation, or any nation. The government will represent the people and will reflect the wishes of ordinary people instead of the well-hidden financial capitalists who control the government and our nation with democratic pretenses. 

 

Billionaires have taken control of our nation and have built a US/British/Zionist Empire in which a transnational capitalist class maintains control. They started in 1940 with individuals in the Foreign Relation Committee and the Dept. of State and aided by capitalists such as Henry Luce of Time Magazine to foment such a fascist coup. (The coup was recently approvingly described by Stephen Wertheim in his book Tomorrow, the World.) During the 1920s & 1930s, there were many US capitalists, when you read the literature as I have, beginning with Henry Ford who didn't hesitate to support what the Nazis were doing in Germany, and many US corporations promoted authoritarian capitalism (fascism) in Germany. In as early as 1920 Ford wrote in The International Jew in which he reflected his essentially racist orientation: 

 

 ... the genius of the Jew is to live off people; not off land, nor off the production of commodities from raw material, but off people. Let other people till the soil; the Jew, if he can, will live off the tiller. Let other people toil at trades and manufacture; the Jew will exploit the fruits of their work. That is his peculiar genius. If this genius be described as parasitic, the term would seem to be justified by a certain fitness. 

 

Because left-wing Jews were prominent in the 1917 Russian Revolution, Ford, like Hitler and most anti-Semites (simple-minded supporters of capitalism) mistakenly blamed the Jews for capitalism's failures. In the run-up to WWII the existing ruling capitalist classes chose authoritarian capitalism (fascism) and largely backed the Nazis. Others backed the US-Great Britain combination to support authoritarian capitalism behind a faux ideology of "democracy" in which you have essentially two capitalist capitalist political parties to choose from. Ford Inc. and other corporations went on to build trucks for the armies of the 3rd Reich (read Big Business and Hitler by Jacques R. Pauwels). All during WWII, Ford, General Motors (Opel) as well as other US corporations never stopped doing business for the Nazi government of Germany, but due to the work of US censors you will hardly find a graduate of US universities knowing these facts. 

 

Today, finance capitalists have largely replaced industrial capitalists in the ruling class, but they have not changed the goal of a dominant world empire. Billionaire financial capitalists in the USA, Britain, Zionist (right-wing Jews) Israel dominate much of Europe and Latin America now control the world's economies on behalf of transnational capitalism from a well-hidden Deep State. (Contemporary far left-wing Jews are illustrated by Norman Finklestein, a former professor at DePaul University and was hassled by academic exponents of capitalism that led to his denial of tenure.) 

 

The well-hidden Deep State of the Empire fear economic repressions and depressions typical of capitalist nations where the opportunities are few for ordinary people to increase their wealth and influence. This new ruling class, the majority of whom, now prefers to issue debt to private corporations at reduced rates, but by printing money they issue debt to government at an increasing rates of interest in order to sell government securities, and to any ordinary "cooperative" individual at high rates to guarantee their wealth and influence. The US ruling capitalist or the Deep State now have obligated the government (mostly ordinary Americans) to to pay over 31 trillion dollars of debt while the ruling capitalist class, whose purchase of debt securities enables them merely to live off the interest! 

 

This class-based system of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire uses violence and the threat of violence together with trade sanctions to attain compliance. That is why the USA is involved in many wars and has over 800 military bases scattered all over the world. That is precisely the reason that the transnational ruling financial capitalist class and their Empire have been engaged in many wars. They keep their populations ignorant of history, and control mainstream media and other social institutions with appointments in key positions and issue self-serving propaganda via their ownship of media corporations to maintain their Empire. Ordinary people of the USA and Britain don’t closely follow events in other countries, instead are mostly focused on their immediate family welfare--and the ruling capitalist class knows that, and their censorship of news and self-serving propaganda helps to keep the ordinary people in ignorance. However, that may change due to expensive efforts to maintain their Empire along with efforts to de-dollarize the world and the resulting decline of Empire economies. The Empire is expected to use military adventures in place of propaganda as they are currently doing in Ukraine. This will impact ordinary people in the lands of the Empire that they are being deceived, and lessen the effectiveness of censorship and propaganda.

Socialism applies to Russia that has nearly 10 decades of experience with it as a system: 7.3 of extreme socialism, more recently 2.5 decades of a milder kind, and a remaining decade of capitalist confusion in which the Soviet bureaucrats robbed the nation and nearly destroyed it. Russia has now maintained the ownership of a large sector of the economy, and they will not tolerate comproming their independence and sovereignty to the de-facto US/British/Zionist-Israeli Empire. As a result, ruling capitalist classes of the capitalist "West" have not liked the existence of Russia (and the Soviet Union) and China, and they do everything they can to destabilize their governments. China has allowed billionaires to exist, but under the firm control of China's Communist party. In the early days Putin, the President of Russia, gathered all the oligarchs together and warned them not to become involved in politics in return for his not interfering in their profit-making opportunities. (This article is how NPR reported the event.) The point is this: ordinary people of each nation of the Empire should decide, given their history and culture, what are allowed to be private enterprises, and with no "deep state" or a well-hidden ruling capitalist class that largely serves themselves with more wealth and power--at the expense of ordinary people--and with pretenses that their system represents a "democracy". Along with the decline of Empire, ordinary people will increasing distrust the propaganda that is fed to them by the ruling capitalist class.

We now see our government officials provoking both China and Russia, following orders of the capitalist ruling class, with visits to Taiwan, a recalcitrant province of China, and shooting down with missiles their weather balloons and other ballons--labeling them "spy balloons".  They provoked Russia with NATO bases up to their border despite protests from Russia; and according to German Chancelor Merkle, the capitalist ruling classes of the Empire hypocritically entered the Minsk agreements with less the honest motives to provide time to build up Ukraine's military forces. Furthermore, they blew up the Nord Stream pipelines to furnish Germany with cheaper gas than the US could provide in order to interfere the growing relationship between Germany and Russia.

The war in Ukraine is an illustration of the result of Empire policies, but this war is no ordinary war. It is a final stand of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire and its ambition to rule the world before the climate has destabilized to threaten all humans. Various members of the Biden administration have repeatedly said that the are in the Ukraine war for the long-haul and they have backed up this determination by huge investments in the support of their installed backing of the fascist Zelensky regime in Ukraine in 2014. The transnational ruling capitalist classes cannot hold their Empire together if they lose Europe. The neocons like Asst. Secretary of State's Victoria Nuland's phone conversation expressed only the Zionist component of the Empire that regards Europe with utter contempt. The war in Ukraine maintains the objectives of the Empire: 1) to keep the European nations from trading and cooperating with Russia with the result to prevent them from developing ties with Russia; 2) by scaring Europeans and other monetary rewards, to keep European nations from withdrawing from NATO; and 3) to prevent the ultimate demise of the transnational ruling capitalist class and their project to rule the world. This was their project from the start in 2014: to establish a fascist regime in Ukraine knowing this would provoke Russia followed by billions of dollars to purchase weapons to fully back Ukraine and to prepare for war with Russia. The leaders of the Empire thought that this was a method to destabilize the Russian government and to wreck Russian-China combination. That is why the directors of the capitalist Empire feel that they don't consider any option other than victory in Ukraine and destroying Putin's administration together with a more compliant government of Russia. 

 

This dominant, class-based system of capitalism has fooled nearly everybody in the USA combined with their use of propaganda, psy-ops, gaslighting, censorship, and other means of manipulating people's consciousness of the real world. We see today how the transnational capitalist class inspects our every move over the internet and other media. Worst of all, so that they can better control us, they propose new digital IDs and digital currency. Dissident people and real democracy are disappearing from the USA. With this authoritarian capitalism (fascist) methods, instead of real democracy, our masters are attempting, and largely succeeded, to shape public opinion; and for everything that goes wrong, they attribute to Putin. However, this faux political reality will not save this ruling class from on-the-ground reality and the growing understanding of the reality of ordinary people throughout the world. Their ultimate defeat of NATO (the Empire's army) will come as ordinary people experience this on-the-ground reality of wages that can't keep up with inflation and the general decline in living standards. The contrast between the imposed "reality" with the on-the-ground reality will be too much for ordinary people to tolerate as their economic condition declines. Once this of personal experience sets in, the defeat of the Empire will be only a matter of time before socialism will replace capitalism everywhere in the world. 

 

However, will it be too late to save us from the growing challenges of abrupt climate destabilization as explained by climate scientists Guy McPherson and James Hansen (10 years ago)? These scientists predict that it is only matter of a short time. McPherson predicts this year, or only a few more years, before climate destabilization sets in and destroys most species on Earth. This is a major existential challenge for humans.

A message to my readers

I have discovered that my new format is best given my advanced age and limitations. I have focused on honest independent websites to keep you informed during this age of ubiquitous propaganda.

I peruse these websites in addition to about 10 others, but the changes I have made do not list articles that impressed me. By "peruse" I mean much for superficial reading of these articles. 

I have made almost daily changes to my monthly listing of recommended websites for you to follow. I post the monthly lists early in the month, but so far I have made almost daily changes to clarify, add additional websites, and other edits to my monthly lists. These daily changes throughout the month won't be specified in my edited updates. Thus, you will need to occasionally refer to these monthly lists. I will transfer the lists from the updated previous month to the new month early in the month.  

Article of the year: "How Spooks and Establishment Journalists Are Circling The Wagons"

I discovered this first in Cook's Substack account on July 1st, but it exceeded Substack's length and Substack published a condensed version. It was first published entirely on June 30 on Mint Press News.  I have been impressed with Cook's writing before, but this article I think is excellent.

 

It is an especially valuable article because it shows that the ruling class's CIA and its agents have infiltrated all the major news organizations, especially in the 21st century. This accounts for the fact that all major news corporations have all filled the ruling capitalist class's propaganda like never before. They spread the ruling class propaganda before the 21st century but it was due to the indirect influence of the ruling class. Now the mainstream media corporations have all been corrupted throughout the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire by this transnational ruling class, and it is exactly why they are entirely filled with this class's propaganda. Given that this class rules over much of Latin America and much of Europe besides the USA and what was left of the British Empire after WWII in addition to the Zionist (right-wing Jews) planted in Palestine in what is now called Israel, the mainstream propaganda has a virtual monopoly on the spread of information throughout the world. It is no wonder that much of the world has swallowed whole this transnational capitalist class's propaganda as we are witnessing today throughout the Empire, especially Europe, in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. 

 

It is also the reason for this website. In 2009 I was increasingly aware of this corruption, and in late 2009 I started this website.

Message to my readers regarding changes to My Recommendations: Weblogs/Websites (updated initially and frequently)

5/21/2022 update: I thought about recent changes regarding my emphasis on my list of "My Recommendations: Weblogs/Websites" and I decided to move it to the main page, from the right-hand side, to facilitate readers who view my website on their smartphones. Thus, I have moved it from the right-hand side of my website on the main page, and this will be my main work until further notice. After I work on "My Recommendations", I expect that (an expanded version) will change occasionally and only a little.  

The only exception will be that I added Global Research to my list of "My Recommendations" because I felt it worthwhile for those who don't have time to read other items on my list. Global Research, a Canadian website, is an aggregated website (def.) that offers current posts of items that they consider of special interest regarding fundamental issues of our time. This is one I can recommend--the only exception being that Prof. Michel Chossudovsky, who is the administrator of this website, is mistaken regarding the subject of abrupt climate destabilization ("climate change") which he, in the years past, considers as a "hoax". On this topic, which he posts very infrequently (especially since the recent and conservative IPCC reports were published) is sadly mistaken; but on other fundamental issues facing humanity, his selected posts are very worthwhile.

 

I can't vouch for every single post or re-post on these websites/weblogs. With over 12 years of online experience, I can recommend the following list because they offer insights on what the ruling class does to deceive us. In the future, I will keep the list updated by bringing new websites/weblogs especially with new fundamental crises which arise and are caused by the ruling transnational capitalist class of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire in their fascist pursuit of dominance over the entire world. And, I expect that I will drop a few. Although I don't know what kind of socialism the following websites/weblogs suggest, they are definitely anti-capitalist or independent (many are "independent" or refuse to advocate socialism because of harassment by capitalist authorities) in their orientation.

• Titanic Lifeboat Academy (Caren Black, a retired educator, runs an aggregated website and occasionally write articles herself.)
  

 

Other recommended websites that are honest and represent likely non-socialist or old-fashioned capitalism where finance capitalism replaces industrial capitalism (old-fashioned capitalism) plus private ownership of the economy in fewer hands. Under financial capitalism (neoliberalism), a society with a concentrated ruling class inevitably descends into neofascism:

• Reminiscence of the Future...--The founder of this weblog, Andrei Martyanov, is a Russian immigrant and a US citizen for over 20 years and is reputedly a Russian military expert. Recommended by Pepe Escobar.
• The Ice Blog Frequency: about once per month. 
• The Saker You can access Pepe Escobar's articles here as well as other articles of interest. Founded by Andrei Raevsky ("The Saker"), who is descended from White Russian immigrants (essentially capitalist armies who fought against Bolsheviks) and who, after the defeat of White Russian armies, immigrated to Europe and he eventually became a US citizen. Raevsky is the founder and administrator of the website. After receiving threats from governmental or corporate authorities, he moved his server to Iceland.
• The Unz Review founded by Ron Unz, a retired physicist, who has a brilliant mind but limited by anti-Jewish attitudes which seem to be fading appropriately to targeting right-wing Jews or Zionists. And, he seems to be moving to the true left as he includes more articles by Pepe Escobar, who in my opinion, is the best journalist in the world. Unz's most important contribution has been uncovering the many mysteries of the "covid" pandemic. 
• Wall Street on Parade founded by Pam Martens and Russ Martens who find lots of misdeeds regarding Wall Street. They blog almost daily except for weekends and holidays.
• YouTube My subscriptions--I particularly like this selection in spite of YouTube's tendency to censor..

A Final post and Announcement to my readers

Unfortunately, we live in a capitalist society which means that individual families are competing for influence and advantages of wealth. The capitalist ruling classes have attained so much power with their ownership of fabulous wealth that they think that they are invincible. They think they will use naive ordinary humans to fight to the death to protect their system from being overthrown as they are doing today in Ukraine. They are the masters of deception, and they have used their tools of deception to deceive most of us to go along with their agenda to acquire ever more dominance and control. The capitalists have destroyed society and the ecology of our mother Earth with their deceptions.

This was a fundamental insight that Margaret Thatcher, the fanatically useful tool of British capitalists, articulated with her dictum: "there is no such thing as society, there is only individuals and their families". I'm sure that she was well rewarded for her efforts. It is unfortunate that humans have not been able to grow out of their infantile belief in families and extended families before the climate crisis really sets in or wars will end in the disappearance of humans in a final nuclear war.

Also, the ruling capitalist classes of the dominant capitalist empire (the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire) refuse to give up their top-dog status on our unique planet Earth which caused both crises--destruction of our planet's ecology and constant wars. This truth is obvious in the war in Ukraine where they are determined to use gullible ordinary humans to fight to the death for their powerful Empire that provides the capitalist classes with so much wealth and control over the rest of us.

After more than 12 years, this essay finally ends my work on the "Surviving Capitalism (Not)". In the future I will do my best to maintain updated recommended websites/weblogs to the right of my website.

5/19/2022 Update, (updated 5/20/2022): I've been cleaning up my website and particularly the "recommended websites/weblogs" that are most relevant to current issues. To do this I've have followed daily to all (approximately 50) websites/weblogs that I've always used to determine my daily posts that I've recommended daily since the last over 12 years, but I've changed from that to keep current "my recommended" website/weblogs. Not all of these websites/weblogs qualify for my recommended list because they, in reality, advocate the denial of the fundamental issues of our time: peace, climate destabilization (e.g. Global Research and The Exposé), and social/economic justice (e.g. Paul Craig Roberts). I have not discovered all credible sources because I've not discovered them in my daily posts, but the ones I've discovered and followed for an extended period are demonstrated credible journalists, genuine socialists, independent scientists and experts.  

They don't necessarily advocate real socialism (as I do), but their posts provide honest and insightful posts. The only possible exceptions to the latter statement are with Global Times (China) and Sputnik (Russia) which I include in order to understand our nations' opponents and their points of view. Otherwise, I follow policy analysts (who are available on US websites) who I believe offer (as best that they can) accurate news and insights on ruling class and government policies. I expect to make frequent changes to my recommended list of websites as long as I am able.

I'm in the process of simplifying my life. At the age of 86, I don't need any confusion in handling my adult responsibilities, and must lean on someone for advice to make major decisions before some capitalist takes advantage of me in my advanced age. Finally, I need someone to take responsibility for my ultimate demise. I have no one such as an immediate family or relative to look after my needs and advantages that I've accrued throughout my long life. My adult life was filled with a desire and activities to rid our selves of capitalism to promote a real socialism, that is, to promote a classless society and to establish a society of humans who cared for one another. I have failed in this endeavor.

So far, I am gratified to receive three inquiries for my appeal. One of the three has dropped out, and the 2nd one doesn't look promising. The final one looks good for now. I invite those who have space for me in their household to make inquiries. 

I am so far able to sustain independent living, but I need guidance for major and some minor decisions in my life. I dislike where I am currently living in a co-op in southern Minnesota among bible-oriented Lutherans.

For those of you who have an intense interest in the origins of the covid pandemic, I very much recommend that you listen to this post. Although the interview is about two hours in length (minus the nearly 12 minutes after the end of the interview), the more I listened to it the more I learned from Unz who has studied the topic more than any other person I can think of. 

 

For those of you who haven't the time, I will summarize the interview for you. Unz concludes that covid was a biowarfare weapon gone wrong. He constantly says "that evidence suggests", and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject. After he reviews the evidence, he goes on to "speculate" that his conclusion best fits the evidence. Once it had been launched, the rogue conspirators encounter numerous "blow-backs" and some of which they tried to take advantage of.  

 

I left the physicist (retired?) by being impressed with his scientist's mind.  Although he does think that a "rogue" element in the government carried out this bio-weapon attack (on China and Iran), he does not consider that the origins lie in a ruling class (or an anti-democratic deep state of the capitalist US/British/Zionist Empire) that violated the biowarfare weapons treaty and gave the go-ahead order. This is a common failing of those highly trained scientists who have been educated in the Empire.

It is likely, more than not, that technicians have revised Google's worksheet, and that was the cause of the disappeared post yesterday. • Dr. Jessica Rose: COVID Vaccines to Digitize Human, Pandemic Treaty Total Loss of Sovereignty features an unnamed host interviewing Rose, PhD from his channel on Odysee (57:43). 

Dr. Jessica Rose discusses the fraud we've all experienced over the past few years in relation to the pandemic. The data shows negative efficacy regarding the COVID19 vaccine, meaning that it's actually hurting you. If they can lie about issues surrounding COVID19 so easily, then what have they been lying about the whole time? She goes into the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and how the adverse event and death reports related to COVID19 injections are off the chart. The FDA and CDC are not even looking at the data. She believes the vaccine is a segueway into introducing new injection platforms, normalizing injections, and digitizing the human. She agrees the goal of the Vaccine Passports is to install the Social Credit System. The WHO Pandemic Treaty will be the total loss of sovereignty for all countries and individuals. That's the end.

The larger issues that are at stake raised by the Russian intervention in the Donbass were highlighted by Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview he gave to Russian media last week. Lavrov said that “the special military operation aims to put an end to the unfettered expansions and unfettered course toward total domination of the United States and other Western states under it on the international arena.”

 

My reaction: O'Neill seems to agree with Lavrov's statement.

There is endless excitement about Russia’s imminent “economic sovereignty,” but what about Russia’s medical sovereignty? Does it matter if Russia adopts the golden petro-yuan (or whatever) if it continues to copy-paste “health measures” drafted by an organization that gets most of its funding from NATO states and Bill Gates?

It’s a serious question, especially because the WHO is forging ahead with its so-called “global pandemic treaty.” Slated for completion in 2024, the agreement will give the World Health Organization unprecedented powers to combat new outbreaks of positive PCR tests.

Does Russia really need this? After two years of the WHO’s non-stop virus scamming, maybe it’s time to pull the plug?

Thankfully, a grassroots campaign (aided by lawmakers) seeks Russia’s immediate withdrawal from the WHO. This is an excellent idea—but is it possible?

Assange faces 175 years in prison for publishing accurate information revealing prima facie evidence of war crimes by the United States. There is a human side to Assange’s story rarely seen.

It is revealed in the new film Ithaka by director Ben Lawrence. It tells the story of a father and a wife’s struggle to save their son and husband. The film follows Assange’s father, John Shipton, and his wife, Stella Assange, during the days of Assange’s extradition hearing in February and September 2020 and Shipton’s journeys to the United States and Europe to gain support for his son with governments and the public.
