We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

  • VSS Science Updates During Pandemic Times #8 assembled and posted by world-renowned virologist Geert Vanden Bossche from his weblog Voice for Science and Solidarity. (Note: This post assembles seven posts related to Covid-19.)
Emergency medicine physician Dr. Chris Milburn, on an episode of “RFK Jr. The Defender Podcast,” described how he was fired for publicly questioning the viability of COVID-19 lockdowns and vaccine mandates, and how a divisive political climate paved the way for authoritarianism.
  • Hate Is Back in Fashion by Gregory Hood from American Renaissance. My reaction: After the campaign to have everyone vaccinated with their newfangled experimental "vaccines", it boggles my mind the apparent success of the propaganda organs ("news" programs) of the de-facto capitalist US/British/Zionist Empire! They can induce in any population the attitudes that the directors of the capitalist Empire want.
  • Inflation Is Going To Get Worse by Chris Martenson from his weblog PeakProsperity. (Note: This post consists of an introductory text along with a YouTube (38:15) video and audio.) My reaction: This is a good explanation about how the Federal Reserve functions and inflation.
  • 💥Ukraine On Fire by Oliver Stone (Documentary) (1:36:53) from EarthNewspaper. My reaction: Most Americans are so ignorant about Ukraine that they couldn't even find it on a map. This is highly recommended for people who want to be "up to speed" (def.) or want to learn about the true story of the current war going on in Ukraine.
The Western lie machine continues to speak of “the Russian invasion of Ukraine,” but it is not an invasion of Ukraine. It is a limited military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.
Mexico’s left-wing President Andrés Manuel López Obrador published a blistering statement denouncing the European Parliament as “flunkies of the reactionary and coup-plotting strategy of the corrupt” right-wing oligarch-backed opposition in his country.

López Obrador, who is known popularly by the acronym AMLO, criticized the European Union’s lawmaking body for meddling in Mexico’s internal affairs, and implored its members to “evolve, leave behind your obsessive meddling disguised as good intentions.”

Noting that he has a 66% approval rating, which is higher than any leader in Europe, AMLO stressed, “Don’t forget that we are no longer a colony of anyone. Mexico is a free, independent, and sovereign country.”

  • Inflation Is Going To Get Worse, Part 1 (part 2 is for members only) by Chris Martenson from his weblog PeakProsperity. My cynical reaction: The ruling class has more to do to kill off the "deplorables" (unemployed and borderline poverty workers as well as small business owners).

  • "They Planned It All Along" features Russell Brand, a British comedian turned serious activist, brings on Nick Corbishley, author of a book entitled Scanned: Why Vaccine Passports and Digital IDs Will Mean the End of Privacy and Personal Freedom in which the author reveals that the Davos crowd back in 2016 planned the "pandemic" to introduce digital IDs--from Brand's channel on YouTube (11:35).
  • 💥Ukraine and Biowarfare Conspiracy Theories by Ron Unz from his weblog The Unz Review. This is a best post because it is packed with essential revelations. Don't miss the discussion with Kevin Barrett, and other materials are worth a study. My reaction: In the last video interview with Henrik Palmgren, Unz takes the government statistics of injuries and deaths that vaccinated-Americans have experienced at face value. This I think is a major mistake.
The non-government in Kiev is simply not allowed by the Empire to negotiate anything. The only tactic in town is stalling. Operation Z – or “the war” – could be stopped with a simple phone call from the Comedian in Kiev.
  • Let’s Re-Learn The Word ‘Detente’: Notes From The Edge Of The Narrative Matrix by Australian Caitlin Johnstone with her American husband, Tim Foley, also reading the script (05:33), but you may miss supporting examples, illustrations, etc.)--from her weblog. My reaction: Johnstone doesn't realize the desperation that is driving the policies of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire! The directors are willing to risk everything to preserve their power over the world. We are truly living in dangerous times!
  • The Legality of War in Ukraine by Christopher Black, an international lawyer, from The Wall Will Fall. My reaction: The capitalist directors of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire regard all laws as pieces of paper that must not interfere with their global agenda. They will do what they want to secure their domination of the entire world.
  • Biden BEGS Venezuela For Oil featuring Jimmy Dore, a comedian turned anti-propagandist and guest Kurt Metzger, a comedian mostly interjecting humorous satirical comments, and both breaking out in laughter at Dore's satire on the subject--from Dore's channel on YouTube (14:48).
Seizure of two Iranian ships' oil cargo put spanner in works of negotiations as US delegation comes under increasing domestic pressure.

  • What Doctors Say In Private About COVID Vaccines by Madhava Setty, MD from The Pulse. My reaction: Gone are the days when medical physicians had independent practices. Because medical physicians cannot afford the expensive accoutrements of x-ray machines, laboratories, etc., they work for clinics and hospitals that are owned by the ruling capitalist class who have the power via their employed "careerists" to impose negative sanctions on physicians such as taking away their license to practice. The ruling class has often used this power to prohibit physicians from expressing dissident views "for fear of retribution".
The majority of medical professionals continue to trust the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) — but there has never been unanimous support, despite what the public is being told.

In my survey of physician exchanges over the last 18 months a pattern has emerged. There has been growing skepticism, which was vehemently attacked from the beginning.

  • The Great Reset Phase II: War by an anonymous author from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: This author poses a nightmare prediction for the second phase of the Great Reset--unless we act:
Therefore, the nation state model is gradually being upended by a global technocracy, consisting of an unelected consortium of leaders of industry, central banking oligarchs and private financial institutions, most of which are predominantly non-state corporate actors attempting to restructure global governance and enlist themselves in the global decision-making process.

Therefore, the future of international relations and the social, economic and political transformation which the world is presently undergoing in light of the pandemic and Russia-Ukraine conflict will not be decided through multilateralism and elected representatives of sovereign states.

Rather, it will be decided through a network of multi-stakeholder partnerships which are motivated by the politics of expediency and not accountable to any electorate or beholden to any state and for whom concepts like sovereignty and international law are meaningless.

Can we embrace  the old-fashioned virtues of the working class like trust, solidarity, and organize for the defense of ordinary people? Far too many of us appear to be manipulated by corporate media.

I fear for my fellow Americans, but I have faith in ordinary people throughout the rest of the world.
  • Musings from the Margins by Ajamu Baraka from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: From the global south, this is a realistic attempt to picture what is happening in today's world. And, it ain't pretty!
  • A Conversation on Grief and NTHE [Near Term Human Extinction] featuring the views and analysis of Prof. (retired) Guy McPherson, an independent scientist, who has fearlessly focused his attention throughout much of his prior career and retirement on the climate crisis, and Pauline Schneider, his partner, from (via McPherson's YouTube channel--52:26). • Uncle Sam's Nazi Warriors by Mike Whitney from The Unz Review. My reaction: The mention of Nazis and Ukraine is never included in all the news reports by US media corporations. I imagine this is the same in all media controlled by capitalist media corporations in nations that are controlled by allies of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire.
  • CrossTalk | Liberal Order Collapse featuring a video of Peter Lavelle, who currently lives in Moscow, with his expert-guests from RT's channel on YouTube (25:09). (Note: RTAmerica not RT has been banned from the internet (web), or in the words of our official leaders and corporate news anchors, "canceled". This affects numerous American dissidents and views that are not compatible with our aggressive and desperate ruling capitalist class.)
  • Putin Lays Out Demands To End War features Jimmy Dore and guest Aaron Maté (of The Grayzone) add insights to Putin's demands to end the Ukraine war. Later in the interview Dore quotes Danny Haiphong regarding the war--from Dore's channel on YouTube (06:46). My reaction: Putin's demands are that of any leader of a self-respecting nation interested in security of his nation.
  • Cancel culture cancels culture: Boycott anyone who doesn't denounce Putin? featuring views that are not compatible with the directors of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire--from RT's channel on YouTube (03:41). My reaction: I think the view of Peter Gelb, the director of the Metropolitan Opera House, is spot-on when he says "What's happening today is different, it goes beyond the Cold War, it's a real war." This war in Ukraine brought on by NATO is a crucial war for the Empire: it is a desperate war to determine whether the Empire will exist or not. Russia, China, Iran and a host of other countries cannot tolerate the Empire's insistence on ruling the world. This is a fight-to-the-finish (def.).
Diabolic methods of propaganda and perception management are at work now that have no precedent. This is war waged in a new way — against domestic populations as well as those declared as enemies.
  • Russian judo tears the West apart by Pepe Escobar from The Saker weblog. My reaction: I don't understand many of his arguments because I am not capable of understanding international finance or economics. I am posting this article anyway because I have posted all of his articles in the past.

  • They Tell You That We Are Nazis… by Andrei Raevsky ("The Saker") from his weblog The Saker (12:51). (Note: I must give credit to another west coast activist for this post.) My reaction: Something that corporate media always fails to tell you.
  • Revenge of the Putin-Nazis! by CJ Hopkins from his weblog Consent Factory, Inc. (Note: Hopkins uses parody to ridicule the reports put out by media corporations on the Ukraine crisis.)
  • Does Germany Support the Nazi Regime in Kiev? by Vladimir Odintsov from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: In the future, I will search German articles on this subject. Because I want to see if the Empire's strategy is working, that is, if the strategy to keep Europe from economic ties with Russia (particularly the German approval for Nord-Stream 2) by forcing Russians (a la Mike Whitney) to invade Ukraine due to NATO's encroachment on Russia and Neo-Nazis on their border is working or not. I will investigate whether translation software is reliable and efficient to translate articles from German to English. This post may be premature in its suggestion that Germans and Europeans are influenced by anti-Russian attitudes by this strategy. But it may be valid to test the temperature at this point in time, but the future may demonstrate far more changes.
I share Johnstone's thoughts about censorship by the Australian government. This practice bears a striking resemblance to the alternative views of top experts (always censored) regarding the "pandemic" by the ruling class of Australia which is, after all, an integral part of the de-facto US/British/Zionist (transnational capitalist) Empire.

But, I do not share her view that the "special operation" of the invasion of Russian forces is unjustified. Russia was deliberately forced to intervene in Ukraine to de-Nazify Ukraine by the continuing harassment by the Nazi regime installed by the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire, the encroachment of NATO bases next to their borders, and Russia's memory of WWII when Nazi forces invaded Russia when the latter suffered around 30 million dead and nearly destroyed Russia. That is why the US government had correctly forecast the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Because of these threats and the ignoring of Russia's security demands, the US's so-called "intelligence" agencies knew that Russia had to invade Ukraine.

My views correspond with Eugene Puryear and Brian Becker (1:12:18).
  • The American Empire self-destructs. But nobody thought that it would happen this fast by Michael Hudson from CounterPunch. My reaction: This is because the directors of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire are desperate. They are seeing the rise of China in collusion with Russia, their efforts to de-dollarize the world, the defeats in Syria and Afghanistan, and many economic problems pointing to the end of their Empire. And, above all, they see this containment of Europe as a crucible (def. #3) that determines the fate of their Empire.
  • Ukraine, It Was All Written in the Rand Corp Plan by Manlio Dinucci from Global Research. My reaction: Our foreign policies are determined by the Rand Corporation than the policies written by our official government. This is another symptom of the fakery of the "democracy" that the ruling capitalist class likes to promote in the propaganda broadcasts by their media corporations. Media corporations, like all other institutions, are owned and controlled by the ruling billionaire class and they see to it that such corporations are the agents of propaganda much more than the "news". The only exceptions are weather reports and related subjects. Most of the "news" coverage is only what they want you to believe for their self-serving interests.

As Russian troops entered Ukraine, the government in Kiev ordered the “emergency destruction” of pathogens including plague and anthrax at US-funded laboratories near the Russian border, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow claimed on Sunday. Earlier rumors that the Russian military was targeting US-run biolabs were written off as conspiracy theories, but the ministry has promised to back up its claims with documents.

Volodymyr Zelensky is the current President of Ukraine. He was elected in a landslide victory in 2019 on the promise of easing tensions with Russia and resolving the crisis in the breakaway republics in east Ukraine. He has made no attempt to keep his word on either issue. Instead, he has greatly exacerbated Ukraine’s internal crisis while relentlessly provoking Russia. Zelensky has had numerous opportunities to smooth things over with Moscow and prevent the outbreak of hostilities. Instead, he has consistently made matters worse by blindly following Washington’s directives.
  • Does Germany Support the Nazi Regime in Kiev? by Vladimir Odintsov from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: The Nazis in Ukraine (see this, this, and this) and elsewhere are just fighting under another flag, NATO: the fascist Empire (de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire) rather than the flag of the German Nazis of WWII. Russia and China are standing in their way of world domination. The fascist Empire that emerged in the post-WWII era is striving to split this alliance. The US capitalist ruling class in combination with capitalists in the former British Empire and right-wing Jewish forces of Israel (admitted to the Empire around 1967) are determined to establish a New World Order: a unilaterally dominant order controlling every aspect of the people's lives for the benefit of capitalists everywhere. (Read, if you haven't already, this, this, and a recent book entitled Tomorrow, the World by Columbia University Prof. Stephen Wertheim.)
In this post, Unz reveals his old-fashioned capitalist sympathies by heralding the likes of Pat Buchanan, Gerd Schultze-Rhonhof, and A.J.P. Taylor.

After WWI Germans were indeed "mad" after their surrender of WWI in which they experienced so much humiliation (loss of land, colonies, huge debt repatriations), and they selected the insane Hitler who was obsessed by visions of lebensraum, to lead them in a campaign of revenge.

Capitalists of the Anglo (English speaking) world saw that Germany under the fascist rule of the Nazis was determined to head east for their lebensraum (Mein Kampf), and they welcomed this because of the old fears of socialism and communism replacing capitalism (the Russian Revolution of 1917) which fueled their class as a ruling class. But they didn't want a world dominated by German capitalists--they wanted a world dominated by Anglo fascists. So, in 1940 a secret cabal largely in the US State Department saw the golden opportunity after WWII and conspired to take the lead in establishing the domination of English-speaking capitalists. (Read this, this, and this.) Unz doesn't realize that capitalism portends class-structured societies, and capitalists want to serve as the ruling class by controlling every aspect of the lives of everyone else for their own benefit.

Unz, and another author who he posts, are obsessed by right-wing "Jews", especially pro-Israeli Zionists, which in 1967 have joined the US-British combination after WWII to establish a New World Order, a goal of capitalists to dominate (control) the world for their benefit. This, I see, as an old fear stemming from the fact that most revolutionary leaders of the hated Russian Revolution were Jews, and/or in combination with Christian capitalists' disdain for right-wing Jews masquerading as "neoconservatives" which have largely taken over the US capitalist ruling class in the 21st century.
The Empire doesn’t care about the Ukrainians anymore than they care about the people in their own countries. It is about maintaining control over humanity.
What occurred on that Saturday which prompted the EU switch from moderate sanctions to become a full participant in a financial war à outrance on Russia is not clear: It may have resulted from intense U.S. pressure, or it came from within, as Germany seized an opportune alibi to put itself back on the path of militarisation for the third time in the past several decades: To re-configure Germany as a major military power, a forceful participant in global politics.

And that – very simply – could not have been possible without tacit U.S. encouragement.

  • Extremely important statements by Putin (MUST SEE!) by Andrei Raevsky (the Saker) from his weblog The Saker. (Note: This post supplies a transcript of both his questioners and Putin's response.) My reaction: If you still have doubts about the Russian "special operation" in Ukraine, read/see this post.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan just proudly flexed his country’s strategic autonomy by condemning those Islamabad-based Western envoys that earlier demanded that he publicly condemn Russia for its special military operation in Ukraine. By rhetorically asking, “What do you think of us? Are we your slaves … that whatever you say, we will do? I want to ask the European Union ambassadors: Did you write such a letter to India?”, he broke the West’s post-colonial neo-imperial chains over Pakistan.

Pakistan abstained from the UNGA vote on Ukraine alongside around three dozen other non-Western countries, including India, both of whom are impressively pursuing the same policy of neutrality in the New Cold War despite being decades-long rivals.

  • The US Is Culpable in Today's Ukraine Crisis by Liam Cosgrove from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: Although my regular readers will regard this post with disdain, they could send this post to their relatives and friends who are the least bit skeptical of the stories that are spread by mainstream media.
  • Science Snippets: Down in the Dumps featuring the views and analysis of Prof. (retired) Guy McPherson, an independent scientist (via his YouTube channel--07:36), who has fearlessly focused his attention throughout much of his prior career and retirement on the climate crisis. My reaction: They are now censoring climate scientists.
