We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

  • It Begins features Russell Brand, a British comedian and former drug addict turned serious political critic--from his channel on YouTube (14:17).
Transhumanism and biofacism are becoming tools of the technological elite, according to T.J. Coles, Ph.D., author and researcher at Plymouth University’s Cognition Institute in the UK.

My reaction: As I would put it, the tiny ruling capitalist class has chosen Big Technology (major corporations that are technologically oriented) to lead the way to transhumanism (total control of humans via their ownership of technology permitted by capitalism).

  • As in Ukraine, so Too in Taiwan by Brian Berletic from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: The de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire is militarizing Taiwan it has repeated in Ukraine against the Russia, China, Iran, etc. combination in an effort to stave off a serious threat to its worldwide hegemony. Because they are obsessed with maintaining their hegemony like alcoholics during a bender (def. #2), they are waging this global battle despite the impending climate destabilization that threatens the Earth, its human populations, and all life on planet Earth.
  • US Dollar Hegemony Ended Abruptly Last Wednesday by Margaret Flowers on her Clearing the Fog podcast--from The Unz Review. (Note: This post includes the entire podcast of a one-hour program. The post includes a transcript of the interview with Hudson. The podcast consists of these units: Flowers introduces the program followed by a lengthy survey of news, followed by a musical break, followed by the interview with Hudson at 27:25. Hudson starts off this interview with a declaration, which is the title of the post, followed by an explanation of this declaration.) My reaction: I'll have to study the rest of the transcript to determine if Hudson's declaration is understandable and sound. What do you think?
  • The US Empire’s Ultimate Target Is Not Russia But China by Australian Caitlin Johnstone with her American husband, Tim Foley, also reading the script (07:47) in the audio section of her article, but you may miss supporting examples, illustrations, etc.)--from her weblog. My reaction: I don't think that their argument is sound. Either one depends on the collaboration of the other and of the other nations like Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Pakistan, India, etc. to bring a successful revolt against the Empire's hegemony. Timing is of the utmost importance.
  • As in Ukraine, so Too in Taiwan features Jimmy Dore, a former comedian turned serious critic of our government's policies, with guest Caleb Maupin commenting on the war in Ukraine--from his channel on YouTube (09:34).
Summary

The conflict in Ukraine has been decades in the making. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, the United States has taken non-stop measures and interventions to secure complete military domination of Europe. NATO’s expansion, and refusal to accept Ukraine’s neutrality, produced a powder keg situation. In its invasion, Russia has attempted to secure through military means that which it could not achieve after decades of talks. If a long-term peace agreement is not achieved soon, a larger regional or global war is now possible.
  • More guns, less butter: Biden’s World War III budget by Andre Damon from World Socialist Web Site. My reaction: The Empire and its NATO army cannot wage war on multiple fronts (Russia and China, etc.) and still maintain both "guns and butter" at home. We must await further developments in this titanic struggle to maintain the domination of the world by the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire.
While the world’s attention is understandably focused on the crisis in Ukraine, equally grave developments are taking place elsewhere. Perhaps the most consequential – and underreported – is a regime-change operation underway in Pakistan.

This March, opposition lawmakers in Pakistan’s parliament launched a
[unsuccessful] “no-confidence” motion aimed at overthrowing Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Khan, who was democratically elected in 2018, has warned that an “effort is being made to topple the government with the help of foreign funds in our country.”
[my insertion]
  • Ukrainian Update #9 by Paul Craig Roberts from his weblog. My reaction: Roberts leads off this essay with this remark:
Just as everything you were told about Covid by the media and health and government officials was false, so is everything you have been told by the same propagandistic liars about Ukraine. Americans have had nothing but lies since the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy, of his brother, US Senator Robert Kennedy President-in-Waiting, Martin Luther King, the Vietnam war, 9/11, Saddam Hussian’s nonexistent “weapons of mass destruction,” Assad’s “use of chemical weapons,” Iranian nukes, the extraordinary lies about Kaddafi, Covid pandemic, Russian invasions. The entire Western World lives in The Mattrix, a world created by propaganda. The vast majority of people in the West have no idea of the reality in which they live. This makes them impotent and completely unable to protect their freedom. They are sitting ducks for tyranny which is fast enclosing around them.

It's true that the ruling class doubled-down on their propaganda after the assassinations of various opposition leaders. They figured that if they can get away with the monstrous crimes of the assassinations, they could get away with everything. Presently, most Americans are fast-asleep as the sedative of propaganda affects their wakefulness. But, as usual, I can't go along with all of his comments.
  • Europe Must Learn To Cheat On Its Sanctions (Just Like The U.S. Is Doing It) by Bernhard, a German independent blogger, from his weblog Moon of Alabama. My reaction: Ordinary Europeans--not supporters and careerists of European capitalists--must do more: by somehow electing leaders to the European Parliament who want to overturn these onerous sanctions preventing them from becoming truly independent of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire.
  • The Ukrainian rabbit hole of radicalism by Nat South from The Saker weblog. My reactions: The Ukrainian fascists are becoming like the German Nazis: they hate symbols of socialist ideas like Jews, Communists and people like Roma and people with disabilities, etc.--anyone that does not fit in a capitalist society.
  • Chris Hedges DELETED From YouTube! features Jimmy Dore interviewing Hedges, who was recently barred from YouTube, who describes his own censorship and goes on to censor dissidents in general, and the consequences of a social policy of censorship--from Dore's channel on YouTube. My reaction: Hedges doesn't understand that American society, and all nations under the Empire, has been fragmented into rather rigid socioeconomic classes due to the capitalist system and its guardian, the self-serving capitalist ruling class as they enter fascism.

  • This Is More Than A War features Russell Brand, a British comedian and former drug addict turned serious political critic--from his channel on YouTube (00:55).
  • Western Media Confirms Ukrainian War Crimes features Brian Berletic, an independent ex-Marine who currently resides in Thailand, who reports on the war in Ukraine, reviewing Russia's military strategies in Syria, not merely the war crimes by the Kiev regime as the title suggests--from his channel (The New Atlas) on Rumble (14:48).
  • Video Transcript: Media Refuses to Retract their "Russian Disinformation" Lie Even as NYT & WP Authenticate the Emails by Glenn Greenwald from his weblog on Substack. My late reaction: I think Greenwald's research proving that Hunter Biden was true, but delayed because of the CIA's opposition to the story and they didn't wanted it interfere with Joe Biden's election. Greenwald's understanding of US society is superficial because he blames the Democratic Party which the ruling class has assigned to manipulate the minds of Americans. He doesn't understand that the self-serving, ruling capitalist class, which controls every institution in the the USA has chosen the highly secretive CIA and the Democratic Party (for obvious reasons) lead-roles in the manipulations of the minds of ordinary Americans.
On March 10 when CIA director Bill Burns addressed the U.S. Senate and declared “Russia is losing the information war over Ukraine”, he repeated a claim that had already been amplified by Anglo-American media since the start of Russia’s military operations in Ukraine. Though his statement is factually true, it doesn’t tell us why and mainly reflects the West’s perspective. As usual the reality is a lot more complicated.

The U.S. information warfare capability is unparalleled ...
.

My reaction: I haven't yet read the article, but it depends on what populations of which nations. This is true for my fellow Americans, but there are many other nations. And the Empire grossly distorts and lies about what information they provide. The days of the monopoly of the Empire's global information agencies are over.
  • Left-Wing YouTubers Co-opted By Security State features Caleb Maupin, who exposes the co-optation of leftist groups and psy-ops supported by media corporations both funded by governments that associate with the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire, interviewed by Jimmy Dore on his channel on YouTube (26:02).
The US push to revive the JCPOA with Iran has accelerated in the wake of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. As many reports have indicated, the ongoing talks in Vienna are very close to a successful outcome. As other reports have also indicated, the US is also willing to lift sanctions on Iran, including removing the Revolutionary Guards’ designation as a terrorist group. For the Iranians, this news certainly sounds great after facing years of completely unjustified sanctions. But the key question here is: why is this happening at such a fast pace, especially after the Joe Biden administration refused, soon after coming into power only last year, to re-join the JCPOA and lift the Trump-era sanctions? The pace of these talks and the concessions that the US is willing to concede are both tied to the overall strategy of scuttling the Russian economy by manipulating the global oil production and supply. [my emphasis]
Last Thursday, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Taliban interim government Amir Khan Muttaqi made a stunning remark to greet the visiting Chinese Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Kabul when he said, “This is the most important high-level delegation received by Afghanistan.” It spoke volumes about the quiet success of Beijing’s diplomacy to turn the tables in the Hindu Kush.

  • The Economics of Climate Destruction features Dr. Luiz Marquesis. who is a Professor of Environmental History at the State University of Campinas in São Paolo, Brazil in an interview from Facing Future's channel on YouTube (20:55).
#Capitalism is at the root of the environmental collapse tightening its grip on the Earth's biosphere, leading to the probable collapse of local #ecosystems, and food shortages throughout the world.  Dr. Luiz Marques, a leading proponent of #EcologicalEconomics (http://isecoeco.org) shows why an economy based on continuous exponential growth, is unsustainable.  He takes us along a timeline of destruction beginning in 1950, and accelerating from 1990 on, when most of the emissions have occurred.

  • Ukraine: How and Why the War Was Fabricated by Atilio Boron from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: Referring to a Rand publication, which he summarizes but is no longer available to the American public, the author writes:
Conclusion: as we said before this document was released and as we reaffirm even more forcefully, Ukraine is a war immorally provoked by the United States and its European allies. Without paying attention to the terrible human costs of the war, which the Western powers are now crying crocodile tears over, they closed all options to Russia, which at one point even proposed to start talks to join NATO, an attitude that did not arouse in the very democratic and humanist Western powers the slightest intention of even starting to talk about the issue.
  • British Bullshit Corporation Whitewashes Ukrainian Nazis by Finian Cunningham from Strategic Culture Foundation. My reaction: Once again, I find myself declaring that the mainstream media is only regarded by the Empire's Deep State (ruling transnational capitalist class) as another weapon to control what ordinary populations, under their control, think about major events. Our ruling masters are all about control because they fear us. The control of our minds is necessarily on their agenda in order to sustain a system (capitalism) that has given them so much wealth and power.
US President Joe Biden said from the rostrum of the European Community in Brussels that his [NATO] alliance “will respond if Russian President Vladimir Putin uses chemical weapons in Ukraine.” This statement is considered one of the most dangerous US issues since the Cuba crisis in 1962 due to its repercussions on the war on Ukraine, the possibility of its expansion outside the borders, and what the future holds for Europe and the world.

False-flag operations like the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire carried out in Syria? Haven't these incidents been successfully carried out to influence liberal (pro-capitalist) views held in the USA and the populations under the control of the Empire?
  • Antarctica on Edge by Robert Hunziker from Dissident Voice. My reaction: Climate destabilization threatens all life on Earth, and that is the reason that our ruling masters in the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire are speeding up their control of the world. This is necessary against their rivals (Russia, China, Iran, etc.) before preparing to implement their one solution to the impending threat of destabilization of the climate--depopulation. They will implement a depopulation of the Earth by any means necessary ("vaccines", wars, and the Nazi-authoritarian form of advanced capitalism--issuing mandates, arbitrary decisions such as digital health passports, digital money that they control--to save the transnational ruling capitalist classes (the rich and powerful).

The Covid-19 vaccine is supposed to train your immune system to recognise the spike protein of the original strain of the Covid-19 virus. It does this by instructing your cells to produce the spike protein, then your immune system produces antibodies and remembers to use them later if you encounter the spike part of the Covid-19 virus again.

But the vaccine doesn’t hang around after it’s done the initial training, it leaves your immune system to take care of the rest, just as it left your immune system to take care of things in the beginning. All the vaccine does is instruct your body to make millions and millions of dangerous spike proteins. So when the authorities state that the effectiveness of the vaccines weaken over time, what they really mean is that the performance of your immune system weakens over time.

Later on, this post summarizes the significance of the data:

In short, because authorities in the UK, Canada and New Zealand have done such a good job at collating and publishing data on Covid-19 by vaccination status, they have exposed the fact that the triple vaccinated population are rapidly developing some new form of Covid-19 vaccine induced Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

But because the data in each country is so similar, it doesn’t just suggest that this is what vaccination has done to the people of England, Canada, and New Zealand. It suggests this is what Covid-19 vaccination has done to the entire human race.

  • VSS Scientific Updates During Pandemic Times #13 by Geert Vanden Bossche from his weblog Voice for Science and Solidarity. My reaction: This time he isn't getting in such technical details. This time he addresses four subjects, with the first one being "Covid Vaccines Are Driving More Infectious Variants and Possibly a Lethal One"!
  • Geo-Politics Is Metamorphosing at Every Moment by Alastair Crooke from Strategic Culture Foundation. My reaction: By the "West" he means the unofficial but de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire and their agenda of controlling all life on Earth otherwise referred to in the Empire's media as the "New World Order".
  • WATCH: CN Live! — Ukraine: The Economic Fallout features a video, introduced by Joe Lauria of Consortium News, of an interview he conducted with Richard Wolff and Michael Hudson. (Note: The actual video starts at 3:00 and the interview starts at 08:05. I've not yet listened to the latter.)
Economists Michael Hudson and Richard Wolff join CN Live! to discuss the economic war against Russia, its boomerang effect on the West and the threat to extend the war to China. Is globalization over? Watch the replay.
  • Europe: The Prospects of an Expanded War Beyond the Borders of Ukraine are Growing by Elijah J. Magnier from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: Magnier is hinting that there is always the well-practiced art of a chemical & biological false-flag attack that was successfully executed in Syria plus the growing confidence among the Nazi leadership of Ukraine that NATO will not abandon them. Ordinary Europeans will ultimately decide whether they will be dragged into a war on the side of NATO against Russia.
Perhaps it is time for countries like France (once the presidential election is over) and Germany to rethink what kind of Europe they want and whether another war experience is vitally necessary to satisfy Europe’s new leader: the United States of America.
  • Wikipedia Controls the Past, Present & Future by Mickey Z. from his weblog Post-Woke on Substack. My reaction: I can't blame Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales as much as the CIA who orchestrated the corruption of Wikipedia. The fact that he entered the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders program is not sufficient proof that he himself corrupted his own Wikipedia no more than Vladimir Putin is a graduate of the program and is playing along with the agendas of World Economic Forum and de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire. Listen to this interview with Freddie Sayers.
Once again, the programming has changed.

Like clockwork, the wall-to-wall news coverage of the latest crisis has shifted gears.
We have gone from COVID-19 lockdowns to Trump-Biden election drama to the Russia-Ukraine crisis to the Ketanji Brown Jackson confirmation hearings to Will Smith’s on-camera assault of comedian Chris Rock at the Academy Awards Ceremony.

The distractions, distortions, and political theater just keep coming.

The ongoing reality show that is life in the American police state feeds the citizenry’s voracious appetite for titillating, soap opera drama.

The consequences of this are huge and as yet little appreciated in the West. It seems that Russia’s loss of patience with Ukrainian dishonesty and double-dealing over the Donbass will have repercussions that have the ability to transform the world as we know it.

Posts that I especially recommend for Monday, March 28, 2022

3-27-2022 update: I have not succeeded in reducing my time on my weblog mainly because of the war in Ukraine. I regard this war as a "mother" of all battles to sustain the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire in their struggle to prevent the integration of the European economies with Russia. To the directors of Empire, this was intolerable and would result in alienating European governments, which they have carefully nourished and subverted, into the protection of the Empire. This became a major threat to the Empire as the completion of the Nordstream 2 pipeline drew near and its likely approval by the German government.

Early in 2022 this "mother" of all battles in Ukraine began, which was engineered by the Empire, to topple the ruling regime in Russia by their steady encroachment of NATO bases next to Russia and especially the Empire's support of the Nazi regime in Ukraine. The Russian public is terrified of the Nazis which wrecked so havoc on their nation in WWII. The directors of the Empire knew that this Nazi regime would be a dire threat to Russia that would provoke a Russian invasion of Ukraine. This would, in turn, cause to frighten European leaders and their populations that they needed NATO to protect them from the Russians, and its end result: to prevent Europeans from integrating their economies with Russia. Should this not happen, this would constitute a turning point in the growth of the Empire and their goal to rule the world. (Read my articles here and here, and this has been recently confirmed (confessed) by a Columbia U. professor in his book Tomorrow the World.)

Since the Summer of 1918, I experimented with occasional "Recommended" articles, but I continued this practice entirely in late December of 2019. I don't recall when I started with my essays. (In late 2009 I began my website with a list of articles that shed some light on current problems experienced in a capitalist nation such as the USA.)

In short, I cannot keep this pace. In the future, I have decided to revert to my previous format to write occasional essays interspersed with a list of article recommendations. It may not be a full list because in the past I often have been perusing them every morning. And I will be focusing more on the war in Ukraine because I suspect this outcome will determine all others affecting the imperialist dominance of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire.

The American president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, once said: “Nothing happens accidentally in politics, and when something happens, you can bet on it that it was exactly planned that way.”

When one looks at what happened in the last year and a half, then these words are especially alarming.

Can it really be the case, that everything that we’ve experienced was planned?
  • Now It Makes Sense features Russell Brand, a British comedian and former drug addict turned serious political critic--from his channel on YouTube (16:15).
  • The Covexit.com Podcast featuring a podcast, and participating in this discussion are Dr. Peter McCullough & Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche, both are international experts regarding Covid-19, from Covexit.
  • 💥Ukraine War! What Is It Good For? The Nazi Agenda (part 3 of ?) by Iain Davis from Off-Guardian. My reaction: I am assigning this lengthy post a "best post" because of its astute, comprehensive history of the threat Ukraine poses for Russia and backed up by evidence. But without the support of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire, the threat that the Nazis posed would have amounted to nothing. I do not agree with everything he has written. But not all of you will be interested to read it, particularly those who have followed this weblog for some time.
The fate of the world order is being decided in Ukraine. This is not a local conflict between two powers that have not divided something between them. It is a fundamental watershed in history.

There is common practice to separate the interests and the values. Interests are connected with the political and geopolitical balance of power, values – with civilizational ideals. There are no military conflicts that have not had both dimensions – the issue of value and the pragmatic goals. In the case of Ukraine, both – interests and values — are global in nature and affect everyone on the globe directly. This is not a local incident.
  • Re-Visiting Russiagate In Light Of The Ukraine War by Australian Caitlin Johnstone with her American husband, Tim Foley, also reading the script (07:39) in the audio section of her article, but you may miss supporting examples, illustrations, etc.)--from her weblog.
  • Biden’s new “forever war” by Andre Damon from World Socialist Web Site. My reaction: This post illustrates the importance of the NATO-engineered war in Ukraine to the transnational capitalist ruling governing the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire. Biden is only an employee of the US's capitalist ruling class, a subpart of the Empire.
... let’s face it– when the media lies relentlessly for 4 years about “Russian collusion” followed by another 2 years of “Everyone’s going to die from the flu” [a highly accelerated form of contagion ("gain of function") of flu=Covid-19] ; any critical thinking person is going to look for other sources of information, right? It’s a credibility issue, and, regrettably, “credibility” is a term that is never applied to the mainstream media.
  • Russian Operations in Ukraine: Week 5 Update features Brian Berletic, an independent ex-Marine who currently resides in Thailand, bringing us up-to-date regarding the war in Ukraine, reviewing Russia's military strategies in Syria, and the absurdity of Empire propaganda--from his channel (The New Atlas) on Rumble (28:57).
  • Springtime for GloboCap by C. J. Hopkins, a satirist comedian returns to comedic satire while living in Berlin, from his weblog Consent Factory, Inc.
  • Isa Blumi: Yemen Is Holding Its Own Against The Empire features a guest, Blumi, who brings us up-to-date regarding the war in Yemen--from the channel of Geopolitics & Empire on Odysee (about 1 hour). My reaction: Another report in a war backed by the same de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire.
  • 💥Science Snippets: "The Newsroom" Commentary features the views and analysis of Prof. (retired) Guy McPherson, an independent scientist (via his YouTube channel--09:37), who has fearlessly focused his attention throughout much of his prior career and retirement on the climate crisis. (Note: Do not be distracted by the change of videos at the end of McPherson's YouTube video.) My reaction: If the Empire would let go of its goal to dominate the world, we could see the world's governments all cooperating in an attempt to stop climate destabilization and human extinction.
