• New Film SEVEN Available Today on Multiple Streaming Platforms from Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. My commentary follows: 

I viewed this 45 minute film last night and I highly recommend it. On 9/11/2001 I watched on TV the buildings of the World Trade Center come down, but I was already convinced that the collapse of buildings was a ruse to get Americans prepared for dramatic changes in foreign policy. Sure enough, people everywhere were shocked and prepared to do anything for their country. Gas station attendants in Oregon, where I was living at the time, insisted that their customers put patriotic stickers on their cars. Laws were rushed through Congress like the Patriot Act to grant government agencies to secure all kinds of records on Americans and the suspension of habeus corpus laws for alien Americans. Members of Congress who were concerned about the rush to pass these laws were targets for anthrax attacks. I felt very uncomfortable with this growing police state and relocated to Canada until 2006. About 1 1/2 years after 9/11, the US along with some allies had already invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. 

This film shows clear evidence that many architects and engineers were reluctant to challenge the governments flimsy excuses and reports by government agencies that gave approval to the official story of 9/11. They were intimidated into silence by the Deep State which controls nearly everything in the USA. Only after a decade did these professionals become involved and started to challenge the obvious inconsistencies and unscientific justifications of the official story.

The capitalist ruling class will always try to take control of every social institution as they have the economy. The internet is the last. However, one can still find real discussion of real issues from the web in contrast to broadcasts by media corporations. But the gap is closing rather quickly.

My reaction: It is encouraging to see that many of the remaining bloggers are celebrating the coordination of their efforts to defeat the Empire's giant beasts which are engaged in the management of the minds of their subjects. We must support their efforts or they might disappear--then we will really be in deep shit! (This is a best post.)

What does matter is that the deplorables from the “overfly country” felt that Trump speaks for them and that he is all that stands between them and the (pseudo-) Liberals of CNN, the Antifa/BLM thugs and the destruction of the United States as we all knew them. And yes, this is a simplistic view, but it is fundamentally correct one nonetheless.

Yes, this is a simplistic view. A more complete view reveals that the transnational capitalist ruling class will no longer tolerate nationalistic fascism. Instead, it will be replaced by real power that lies in the Deep State--the powerful transnational capitalist class and their slicked-up version of neo-fascism. The Trump faction can legally challenge the election and quarrel with the results endlessly, but the outcome will be the same (as in the 2000 election when the Deep State needed Bush, Jr. to be President to carry off their 9/11 project).

A ‘fourth industrial revolution’ is the only way by which to ‘square this circle’, according to this mindset [referring to the dominant section of the neoliberal ruling class]. The Reset is purposefully aimed to disrupt all areas of life, albeit on a planetary scale.  Shock therapy, as it were, to change the way we humans think of ourselves, and our relationship with the world.  The Great Reset looks to a supply-side ‘miracle’, achieved through full-spectrum automation and robotics.  A world where the money is digital; the food is lab-grown; where everything is counted and controlled by giant monopolies; and everyday existence is micromanaged by ever-monitoring, ever-nudging AI that registers thoughts and feelings before the people even get a chance to make those thoughts.

My reaction: I am convinced that many years of anti-communist, anti-socialist, and capitalist pro-growth propaganda will ensure the extinction of humans. People will gradually wake up and "connect the dots", but it will be far too late to save a planet that can support human life and that of many other species.

• Liberalism & Fascism: The Good Cop & Bad Cop of Capitalism by Gabriel Rockhill from Internationalist 360°. My commentary follows:

Rockhill explains, in the words of an academic, that fascism is an integral part of capitalism. Initially, he uses words that are acceptable in bourgeois academic discourse (such as "liberalism", the classic meaning which denotes the ideology of capitalism) that tends obscure for ordinary people most of the harsh realities of capitalism. However, to his credit, he soon uses the "good cop, bad coop" metaphor, which ordinary people can understand, to explain the harsh realities of capitalism. 

Capitalism is a social-economic system that tends to hide the fact (the classic meaning of "liberalism") of capitalist rule: a ruling class of major private owners of economic enterprises who are always on guard to preserve their system which delivers them so much wealth and power, particularly the latter. 

Power is a very intoxicating and addictive drug that can easily cause some humans to commit all sort of harmful behaviors toward their fellow humans ranging from simple exploitation to outright murder: all characterized by ordinary people who regard such behavior as immoral or criminal. "Liberal democracy" is a system that relies on the rule of their laws.

Such a system results roughly in social-economic classes in which the majority are rented workers, those who benefit by serving the major owners of economic property, and the latter who form a tiny ruling class. The term "ruling class" is not a pejorative term, rather it is a descriptive term. This class puts their stamp of interests on the rest of society which includes workers, middle class people, and their fellow members of the ruling class. Their stamps of interests of this latter class impose on other classes of society range from their beliefs about their system of capitalism as good for all of society, the rule of their laws, and down to the differential behavior and the style of dress permitted to all social classes.

Whenever the ruling class are threatened or their beliefs about their capitalist system are threatened, they are inclined to use violence. History has demonstrated that this system over time results in the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. A ruling capitalist class thus might depend on overt violence or the threat of violence if they feel sufficiently threatened. Such a system is described by various people as fascism. The ruling class of capitalists increasingly ignores their rule of laws in order to rely on violence imposed on people who threaten their system in any form. To gain supporters from other classes they use bribes and fake threats posed by fake enemies (racial groups, Muslims, "terrorists", "communists", etc.).

Finally, the partial sentence "When fascist parties attain state power and are no longer held back by their commedia dell’arte with liberals" needs some explanation. Here he means by "liberals" the current meaning of "liberals": mainly middle and upper-middle-class people who are well rewarded for their support of the ruling class and who support their lies of propaganda. The phrase "commedia dell'Arte" combined with "liberals" suggests that "liberals" only pretend like actors on stage to support the ruling capitalists. Thus the partial sentence means when the fascist parties or fascist segments of the population are no longer held in check by acting liberals, "...." Although the use of "commedia dell'Arte" is clever, I don't think that most liberals are merely acting. Rather I think that most of them (particularly professionals and managers) fervently identify with, and support, the ruling class because the latter supplies them with comfortable careers.

This excellent article belongs in the "best posts" category. The Deep State, that is, the billionaire financial and corporate owners of not only our government but much of our nation as well, are pushing a faith-based narrative to encourage us to obey our government authorities uncritically. These authorities and the UN's World Health Organization (WHO) know best, and the best weapon in this WHO sanctioned pandemic is vaccination.

Faith-based authorities have been used by all ruling classes since civilization was established around 10-12 thousand years ago. That is precisely why all ruling classes have used organized religions to bolster their authority. Science, as a rigorous evidence-based knowledge, has gradually freed humanity from the superstitions of religious faith. The Enlightenment period was especially celebrated by freeing humans from faith-based knowledge. Since then the benefit to the welfare of millions across the globe has been obvious. Unfortunately, capitalist ruling classes grew and took over control of governments across the planet, and they readily co-opted organized religions to help them dominate, control, and exploit their populations. Now it is evident that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, with their substantial contributions, have greatly influenced WHO decisions. The article points to this faith-based knowledge to bolster faith in government authorities which has been supported by incessant propaganda media campaigns.

• How we stay blind to the story of power by Jonathan Cook from his weblog. (Note: Edited for clarity at 7:50 AM CT on 2/27/2020.)

This rather lengthy piece addresses a very important subject: social-economic and ultimately coercive power. He starts off with a fundamental description of what it is, and ends up with a specific discussion of its presence in the current US election scene. I've long considered this power as a crucial problem that humans have not been able to overcome.

I think power is a fatal human flaw which will end in the extinction of human and many other species. Only in the roughly last 10,000 years have we seen the appearance of self-serving ruling classes. During this history we have seen, because of human cleverness, a vast increase in the number of humans. This period is nearly a "drop in the bucket" compared to the 200,000 years of the appearance of humans on our planet Earth. But during this micro period of "civilization" we've seen one system after another (capitalism is the latest) that created tiny ruling classes through the use of power.

Our evolution has been largely shaped by the last 190,000 years when we lived in tiny bands which became dispersed all over the planet. Human species has not had time to evolve the means to cope with the vast increases of their population in this current period that is required to counter the power of the current ruling classes. Thus, our weakness in confronting powerful ruling classes is our fatal flaw that will end in our extinction due to the ruling classes' destruction of our habitat.
