We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

How things have changed since Donald Trump came and went as US president. Until then, I was able to identify myself as firmly on the progressive left. Now – with the Covid pandemic only reinforcing the post-Trump trauma – I find myself in some weird no-man’s land, trapped and squeezed between two ballooning ideological tribes that sound too much alike on too many questions.

My reaction: The ruling capitalist class has deliberately aligned with the Democratic Party, a traditional workingman's party and one of the political parties that they permitted, in order to use them as a vehicle to carry the nation toward the new Reset strategy. The latter strategy, in turn, is the ruling class's terribly destructive social response to the climate crisis we are now entering.
This piece, which will be of interest for all historians and history-interested people, starts out with the latest advocates of the Great Reset, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, etc. and a host of other names (Ehret identifies some of them as “The Singularity” and “Transhumanism”).

From there, he goes to the history of such schemes with roots in the Age of Enlightenment, capitalism, and Christianity. Of course, the first conflicts saw the Christian religion and science as major conflicts. But capitalism with its racist components also played a major part in the history of Western civilization.

The major historical problems are that the new discoveries by Darwin interacted with both of the major cultural drivers--capitalism and religion. You can see it in the history which Ehret goes into detail to explain. Furthermore, these conflicts resulted in a fetishization of science in the service of both Christianity and capitalism throughout our history. It is really only a rather complicated method of obtaining truth about our existence.

Ehret promises more articles on this topic in the future, and I am interested to see where he goes with this beginning.
The problem is that the proverbial genie is already out of the bottle when it comes to that country’s “drone diplomacy” with Ukraine. Now that Kiev is in possession of such potentially game-changing offensive weapons that have already been proven to have emboldened its aggression in the ongoing civil war over its eastern region’s future political status, there’s nothing that Ankara can do to restrain its partner. To the contrary, it’s now compelled to continue providing more equipment, spare parts, and maintenance.
The reluctance of too many to undertake effective defense of the Earth’s climate, since nearly 40 years ago, can only culminate in devastation of the planet’s life support systems—one of the greatest catastrophes the planet has undergone since the dinosaur extinction about 66 million years ago.

My reaction: The reluctance stems from the capitalist realization that you can't have infinite economic growth on a finite planet, but this realization is weaker than their addiction to profits and power.
  • The Class Wars of Internet Access from Journeyman Pictures' channel on YouTube (05:55). My reaction: This is not an endorsement for co-ops, but a method of surviving in a capitalist nation.
The following two posts are selected by Brad Fredricks (and his reactions, commentaries, etc.) for this website:
Facebook has over 2.8 Billion Users. This number is over 1 Billion more users than China has citizens. Having so many users, it seems one would want to believe they had some sense of moral responsibility, which has been repeatedly proven false.

Facebook represents one of the largest obvious dangers to society in the world, with undeclared yet obvious ambitions of taking on a more Governmental role, it is a threat to free and open society everywhere.

Interestingly, Facebook has morphed itself into a news medium, targeting and funding news-rooms throughout the world with money to publish stories. This may potentially indicate an effort to influence information dissemination, or at least cause news-rooms to potentially hold a sort of cognitive bias against them.

That said, there is a murky reality emerging behind the scenes and beyond the large amounts of cash they have dropped on the Facebook Journalism Project. It is there hiring frenzy across the globe.

Anyone that is willing to spend the energy can readily find that Facebook has been hiring former DC Lobbyists, as well as former Intelligence Officers, analysts, and security experts in large numbers. What started as a dorm room code hijack has morphed into an undeclared global intelligence agency with billions at its disposal, reporting to one man, Mark Zuckerberg.

Is Facebook making an effort to legitimize themselves as a public utility, or perhaps as a soft form of Government. By this I mean is Facebook attempting to insert its privately owned platform into the political process officially, giving it a level of legitimacy and power unprecedented to what it holds now?

There is only one solution that seems appropriate considering all the above.

SHUT IT DOWN. Simply providing oversight and protected rights does not change what has become a global surveillance apparatus to the NSA, it only emboldens it.

#DeleteFacebook
Professor Crispin is a rational voice of reason amongst the polluted horizons of intellectualism. Where many have folded their cards and turned to career safe mainstream narratives, the tenured professor has held steadfast on channeling his in George Carlin, and questioning everything.

One must wonder what is to come of anyone countering the narratives being dictated by the White House, as it becomes increasingly clear the Federal Government is encircling people who do not echo their slogans, question their claims, and seek evidence to support the anti-dotes prescribed by those with financial motivations.

The key take-away here is that we must all learn and devise how to speak with others on controversial topics.

I think the Governor has voiced an idea that will destroy the mandates. And he is calling back the legislature to act on the issue.
Unfortunately, in this video-interview Miller argues against global warming that is only supported by independent scientists rather than conventional scientists that go along with the officially approved denial of global warming. Only the ruling capitalist class, which fears global warming because it would be an end to their system, is aware of this threat to a system that gives them so much wealth and power.

In these days of rising sea levels, large-scale fires, increasing floods, rising temperatures, and the desertification of much of our planet Earth, it is getting increasingly harder for them to deny the effects of global warming. Obviously, the ruling classes will be infiltrating global warming organizations to turn them into impotent groups. That is precisely what has happened to much of the Green Movement.

The transnational capitalist class has spearheaded an effort to undermine the past international meetings, and the upcoming UN-sponsored international meeting in Glasgow, Scotland is likely to produce similar non-binding fake resolutions.
The real threat that Omarova poses to U.S. financial stability, that Democrats should be calling out, is that she wants to further concentrate all major aspects of the U.S. banking system in the hands of the Federal Reserve, a captured regulator whose 12 regional bank tentacles are, literally, owned by the banks. (See These Are the Banks that Own the New York Fed and Its Money Button.) Omarova offers not one scintilla of a suggestion about restructuring the Fed so that it is not owned by or controlled by the banks.
... perhaps the reason the vaccine strategy is not being reconsidered, but has become cult doctrine on which the Establishment has doubled-down, is that it was conceived at the outset, not just as a means to an end – i.e. creating herd immunity via vaccines – but also an end in, and of itself.

Looked at in this way, we can perceive not just ‘one failure’ – that a V-shaped recovery on re-start, was presented as gospel – but rather, a series of related judgmental ‘failures’.

He then describes what is going on today with the Empire's revealed strategies, and ends with this statement:

Cults historically are dismissive of fragility in complex systems. They are focussed on the means to ‘ends’. .... Human attitudes and behaviour – i.e. people – are seen as an obstruction, and as Biden repeatedly warns, “if people won’t help, they must get out of the way of vaccine rules … get out of the way of people doing the right thing”.

It seems that Russia and China, seeing all this, will remain aloof and patient – waiting upon structures to crack.
  • 💥Cruel Britannia: Britain’s Real Role in the World, with Mark Curtis by Alan Macleod, a Brit by upbringing, if not citizenship, joins in a discussion of Britain in the post-WWII world with Curtis. Curtis, according to the brief bio in the text following the video, explains that he is also a Brit. But his accent shows that he has been in the USA for a significant amount of time. This post is from Mint Press News (they are lucky to have Macleod as a writer) which is based in Minneapolis. This is a best post. My reaction: This is a document that supports my central thesis of a de-facto merging of American power with what remained of the British Empire after WWII that I explained in this commentary. This merger of post-war ruling classes added Israel and right-wing Jews (Zionists) which they settled in Palestine to protect their interests of wealth and power. This is the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire that we see today trying to assert their waning power--and it is a well-kept secret (among their populations) that is hidden by their human rights and democracy-promoting propaganda.
  • Golan Heights: No one trusts Biden and they're right not to by Najla M. Shahwan from the Daily Sabah (based in Turkey). My reaction: Biden, of course, is only an employee of the ruling capitalist class. And in the post-WWII era, the newly organized de-facto Empire, consisting of what was left of the British Empire and the undamaged USA, settled right-wing Jews (Zionists) in Palestinian lands to function as a base to protect the Empire's imperial interests.

Great wealth can do great damage. Grand personal fortunes, we’ve come to understand, can menace our democracy and distort our economic life. But these fortunes can also wreak a much more hidden havoc: They can mess up the minds of people who hold them. Great fortunes can leave their owners feeling supremely sure they themselves must be great.

Great enough to save the world if they put their mind to it.

I would go further. If a given socioeconomic system rewards its winners so outlandishly with money and power, they inevitably see themselves as super-humans who can save the world. As Upton Sinclair once said, "I used to say to our audiences: 'It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!'". Or in this case, "It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his investments pay off so abundantly that he never has to work in a job which pays so little and has no power associated with it."
  • Goodbye Mr Marx by Darren Allen from Off-Guardian. (Note: I'm posting this only to criticize it. I don't normally do that because I would have no time for anything else. However, because I often post articles for Off-Guardian, I will make an exception with this post.) 💥My commentary (I edited for clarity on 10/26/2021) follows: (This a best commentary)/
Allen in this post is critical of Karl Marx's contributions to the philosophy of socioeco/nomic systems. Although I won't meet all of his criticisms, it is safe to say that Marx made a great contribution to this philosophy by revealing for the first successful time that societies are wrecked by classes, and especially by a self-serving ruling class. Allen's take fits well with the ongoing attacks against socialist ideas and their development since Marx's astounding revelations more than 150 years ago.

I often heard people say that they have read some of Marx's articles, but they couldn't understand them. Marx wrote a lot, and his articles are based on what his observations and influences informed his views. You cannot understand him without understanding the world of his time, particularly the philosophies that existed at that time. To be sure, his greatest mistake was his faith in workers and that they ultimately would be victorious over their capitalist bosses in their quest to establish a socialist system.

Today we see that this has not happened. It was greatly exaggerated by pro-capitalist propagandists with the disappearance of the first socialist experiment--that of the Soviet Union. We further see--if we have diligently followed scientists and their work--the catastrophic destabilization of the climate that the capitalist system has greatly contributed to, and this destabilization today threatens humans and most other species with extinction. Although Marx wrote a little about this threat, he rather much missed its important impact. Who could blame him?

In addition, I wonder if Allen didn't write this article for morally dubious purposes for secretive anti-socialist subversives like the CIA for the following rewards: insuring a career in capitalist enterprises, or for a lavish contribution for Off-Guardian's website? For such rewards we have seen in the past decades that subversive and capitalist-fascist organizations have turned other media organizations to the exclusive promotion of capitalist propaganda. What formerly passed as mainstream media reporting news, in today's world are really strictly propaganda organs manipulating the views of ordinary people to align with the imperial interests of the ruling transnational capitalist class.
  • Cool “Afghanistan Withdrawal”, Bro by Australian Caitlin Johnstone with her American husband, Tim Foley, also reading the script (but you may miss supporting examples, illustrations, etc.)--from her weblog.
The goal of the empire is to be able to topple governments and dominate the globe without incurring a negative perception among the inhabitants of the US and its client states. It has been doing this with a combination of (A) shifting to more “light touch” interventionism which doesn’t garner as much negative attention as full-scale ground invasions and (B) a global perception management campaign of historically unprecedented scale and sophistication.

Ideally the imperialists want to be able to dominate the planet with economic sanctions and the occasional strategic drone strike combined with mass-scale psychological manipulation. It is not a coincidence that nations where they are unable to do these things at will are the nations we are most aggressively propagandized against.

The empire isn’t getting less tyrannical, it’s just getting better at public relations. The need for critical thinking and alternative perspectives has never been higher.

The records were scheduled to be made public Tuesday, but the White House announced late Friday night that it would delay their publication until at least Dec. 15 — and perhaps longer if President Joe Biden determines it’s in the nation’s best interest to keep them confidential.

“It’s an outrage. It’s an outrage against American democracy. We’re not supposed to have secret governments within the government,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told POLITICO. “How the hell is it 58 years later, and what in the world could justify not releasing these documents?”

  • A word from our sponsors by Bill McGuire from the Ecologist. My reaction: I noticed an apt question by McQuire as a sub-headline in relation to the upcoming UN meeting in Glasgow, Scotland.
Why are fossil fuel companies, their funders, and others with poor environmental credentials, on the list of COP26 conference sponsors?
The following post is selected by Brad Fredricks (and his reactions, commentaries, etc.) for this website:
There was a time when your health was not a matter of profit, it was a matter of moral social concern. Some may remember an old TV show series called Saint Elsewhere, about a financially beleaguered Catholic-funded Hospital in Boston. The series ended with the hospital turning into a for-profit healthcare center with worried questions about what that means for the future.

Like a flashback to the 80's medical drama, it seems that the United Kingdoms HHS (Health and Human Services) is going through their own St. Elsewhere, as the United Kingdoms NHS (National Health Service) is potentially up for grabs to the private sector. Double Down News, Dr. Bob Gill, a general practitioner and filmmaker wisely points out the dramatic decline of American health has come with skyrocketing costs, lower overall levels of service, exploding personal debts, and a genuine social breakdown of public health most notable by the exploding obesity endemic since that old episode of St Elsewhere aired.

Interestingly, St. Elsewhere was an NBC-owned TV show. Last year NBC News reported on how private equity firms now control many of the hospitals, ER's, and nursing homes across the United States, highlighting the potential for financially motivated individuals to make decisions that may be counter to the public interest.

This is the story worldwide. When we trust corporations and commerce over community, we the people of earth lose.

The “updated” definition would potentially mean only people who have had the third “booster” shot would be considered “fully vaccinated”, while people who have had the two original shots are no longer “fully vaccinated”.

Whilst the warning might just be a ploy to scare people into getting their “booster” without forcing them to, it should be noted a revised definition of “fully vaccinated” has already been adopted in other countries.
  • Here We Go Again! by Paul Joseph Watson, obviously a Brit, from his channel on YouTube.
A strong circumstantial case can be made that there is an imposed PSYOP in place in the United States. The vehement public support and willingness to obey without question are the precise results a government would seek in response to the perceived threat of a deadly pandemic.

The tactics used to generate this kind of outcome are not hidden from those willing to consider how the U.S. government applies its knowledge.

This excerpt from the opening chapter of the “U.S. Army Field Manual on PSYOP” makes intentions of a campaign very clear:

... on Whistleblower Aid’s website is a list of the organization’s team members.
They include Libby Liu, a co-founder and CEO of the US State Department’s Open Technology Fund who coordinated with the Department’s US Agency for Global Media. She was also president of Radio Free Asia, one of many US State Department media outlets operating around the globe.

John Tye, Whistleblower Aid’s founder, is a former employee of the US State Department who claims to have sat in on National Security Agency (NSA) related briefings. He also boasts of having top secret/sensitive compartmented (TS/SCI)
[see this] information clearances.

Mark Zaid is a lawyer who also is claimed by Whistleblower Aid to currently have TS/SCI clearances.

These clearances would not be possessed by a genuine whistleblower organization exposing real abuses inside the US government, but instead an organization posing as such to mitigate the damage real whistleblowers might cause if their information was brought to the press and released to the public before being sanitized, censored, and spun in a politically expedient manner.

If you would like to more about Haugen's "whistleblower" and her sudden appearance to testify before a Congressional committee as a "whistleblower", I highly recommend a post entitled Anti-Social Media: Can Our Already Volatile Political Culture Transcend a Facebook World? featuring an audio discussion (58:00) by Alan Macleod and Nolan Higdon from Project Censored, a website based in the San Francisco Bay Area. What? You don't have time? Then access this post featuring various speakers commenting on Haugen's testimony on RT (06:01). My reaction: For those of you who claim to be critical thinkers: Ignore YouTube's remark warning about RT and its funding by Russia. This site features most of those who refused to take orders from the billionaire-owners of corporate media, so they went to work for RT.
Halloween is an odd holiday. The ostensible concept — as it has evolved to become — is to shock, startle, frighten, petrify, horrify, and/or terrify… all while consuming enough high fructose corn syrup to keep the American Dental Association content for another century or two. Every year, as October 31 nears, loyal consumers squander a small fortune to adorn their soon-to-be-foreclosed-upon abodes with Made-in-China images of tombstones, skulls, ghouls, goblins, monsters, zombies, and even the occasional bloody severed limb or two. But let’s face it, none of these cardboard depictions remotely compare to the real-life horrors we passively accept as normal.
The behavior of global oligarchic power structures makes a lot more sense when you see that it’s not as much a lucid elite conspiracy as it is a few barely-conscious humans compulsively acting out psychological dynamics within themselves that they don’t really understand. Elite conspiracies happen to be sure, but what’s ultimately driving them is not a complete and coherent vision for the future which takes all things into account but rather the simple egoic impulses of barely-evolved primates blindly trying to shore up control like chimps asserting dominance.

The sociopaths who rule our world are no more conscious of their own inner processes than your average serial killer. They can act out their impulses in a way that looks very organized and efficient, but the driving forces beneath it are the least-evolved aspects of humanity. We are ruled by apes with PR firms.

The Pandora Papers is an investigation into the shadowy offshore financial system that reveals the workings of a secret economy that benefits the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of everyone else.
... while Israel risks becoming a pariah among some cultural producers, it is being aggressively embraced by globe-spanning corporations like Amazon and Google – among the wealthiest companies in history.

The two tech giants are not just lining up to do business with Israel. They are actively working to build and improve the technological infrastructure Israel needs to surveil Palestinians and confine them to the ghettos Israel’s army has created for them.

  • Kyles Vaccine Experience by Dr. John Campbell, who interviews the bicyclist, from his channel on YouTube. My brief commentary follows:
Kyles legit. He rides bikes. [Fredricks rides his bike exclusively and extensively.] Not into tinfoil and extremely together, and a formerly public professional athlete.

A growing list of reliable, not crazy people, are reporting their adverse reactions to the covid vaccines. It is beyond the point of denial, as the world goes through the largest ever public trial of an untested vaccine. How many people will be hurt until the public wakes up from the psy-op.

Kyles's experience is on the backdrop of a recent report Harvard showing that increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States, and the NIH admitting Fauci lied.

The general public is merrily going about their lives while it appears they may be headed towards a gloomy storm. What will wake the world?

A US Study suggests children born during the pandemic have lower IQ’s of about 20 points on average. Have governments taken measures during the pandemic that have not looked at things holistically, causing collateral damage? [My inserted reference, included at the end of the article.]
This is not new. As Noam Chomsky has observed:

‘Governments will use whatever technology is available to combat their primary enemy – their own population.’

My reaction: This is the secret of success of the US ruling capitalist class. They deliberately have used disinformation to create an ignorant, and compliant public. They do this with the secret, unaccountable "intelligence" services, deceptive articles in their mainstream media, and their control of jobs and careers in every institution.
My reaction: That is what the ruling capitalist class has done: transformed OWS into a  "movement that seemed to spontaneously appear, crystallize popular anger against powerful banks, and go global was deemed an abject failure. New York Times business columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin, who admitted to scurrying to OWS after the CEO of 'a major bank' rang him to anxiously inquire if the peasants were going to start chopping off heads, sneered Occupy 'will be an asterisk in the history books, if it gets a mention at all.'"
The writer for In These Times doesn't convince me that the ruling class hasn't accomplished this feat. With "friends" like Bernie Sanders and the Democratic Socialists of America, how could it have been otherwise?
This article was posted all over the internet in various online publications. Could the shortages of goods and labor that appear all over corporate news media be in preparation for the public to comply with this trend? Who knows? But I wouldn't be surprised.

Anyway, worker-scientists have developed this technology for the past several decades. The only difference is that these worker-scientists will be well-paid and enjoy safe careers until they, too, have been replaced by AI technology that designs robots.

Capitalists and their managers (not ours) are smart enough to replace human workers that tire, complain, take sick leave, etc., but also smart enough to create public support for the introduction of robots to replace workers. Capitalists and their managers are also smart enough to use their socioeconomic system to "own" and thus control the replacement of workers for their benefit (not ours). That is precisely why we see billionaires appear and have overwhelming influence regarding governmental policies. They also own and control the government.

Consider another socioeconomic system, for example, socialism. Under the latter system, worker-citizens would own and control the introduction of robots for their benefit: to eliminate more meaningless work and reduce their hours of employment with the same or increased income for workers to enjoy. The decision would be theirs. Such worker-citizens would be more involved with their governing system and the reduced hours would permit that. The reduced work hours would also provide the time to educate themselves into knowledgeable citizens. This time would replace the endless hours of distracting entertainment that capitalism conveniently creates for their workers to pass the time amusing themselves in their scant leisure hours.

A socialist system might also reduce catastrophic wars because aggressive capitalists would be eliminated and their aggressive ambitions removed. Under a socialist system, worker-citizen leaders might take climate scientists seriously and mitigate the destructive influence of the destabilization of the climate. Which system would you like?
Real Media interviewed Maya Evans who has visited Afghanistan on many occasions in her role at the Afghanistan Peace Project which aims to amplify the voices of women and young people and works on the ground with local grassroots projects in Kabul and surrounding rural areas such as Bamyam.
Following Turkish President Erdoğan’s aggressive statements threatening a new invasion of the neighboring Arab republic, the Syrian army command is moving reinforcements to a possible front line in the Aleppo province. The Syrian military has been conducting intensive combat readiness checks and sending additional units north to the Tell Rifaat and Manbij areas, suspected of another cross-border operation by the Turkish army. In particular, heavy Russian T-90 tanks, Grad multiple rocket launchers, BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, and other weapons have been sent there.  Although the situation here has been relatively calm over the past 24 hours, it appears that Turkey needs time to prepare for an attack on Syrian-controlled territory.

Russian warplanes dropped leaflets printed by the General Command of the Syrian Arab Army on the positions of the militants and the Turkish troops with an ultimatum: any attack will be seen as a violation of the agreements, and Russia will be ready to attack the terrorists and protect the Syrian army as its ally.

My reaction: Meanwhile US soldiers in support of the Kurds occupy the northeastern part of Syria. It's a dangerous mix of volatile elements.
A number of civil society mobilizations have been announced ahead of COP26, including protests by health workers and health activists. We spoke to D Raghunandan from the Delhi Science Forum about the agenda and expectations of the summit.

  • Fall 1941: Pearl Harbor and The Wars of Corporate America by Canadian historian Dr. Jacques R. Pauwels from Global Research. My reaction: I have read widely on WWII from original sources, and I recommend anything which Pauwels has written. I have frequently commented on how the capitalist ruling class has rewarded historians which have re-written history books to conform to their nefarious agendas.
This is hybrid warfare, which may include official censure, mass media disinformation campaigns, sanctions, financial strangulation by the IMF and World Bank, proxy war, special military operations, covert operations, state-of-the-art satellite intelligence, and/or drone bombing. We shouldn’t hesitate to call it war because this is how US wars will be waged going forward. It’s unlikely that the US will ever again make large troop commitments like those made in Iraq and Afghanistan, but it remains committed to perpetual war for global hegemony.

There are multiple examples around the world showing that, for years, hospitals have been operating and [at] over-capacity with very limited resources.)
  • GP Bob Gill Outlines the US Corporate Takeover of the British NHS in an interview (46:41) conducted by Lowkey, a British-Iraqi hip-hop artist, academic, political campaigner, interviews a GP (general practitioner) regarding the gradual deterioration of Britain's National Health Service, and starting this century details about the gradual privatization of health services under the control of US corporations.

The British National Health Service (NHS) once stood as an internationally renowned example of a tax-funded health system that delivered public-health services to millions of British citizens, lifting a huge burden from the sick. However, the rise of neoliberal policies in the United Kingdom has targeted the NHS to become the latest victim of a U.S.-U.K. economic trade deal that would put health care services in the hands of private U.S. corporations.

My reaction: What else could the British capitalist ruling class to do with a giant public health service? The same thing is happening in the USA with Medicare. This should be a lesson of how capitalism works, but the heavy indoctrination and propaganda that the people have received over many decades under our capitalist masters prevented most ordinary people from reaching this insight.
  • Foreign Agents #10 - Covid and Mass Hypnosis w/Dr. Mattias Desmet, features another interview (a week ago, and my commentary for that interview applies to this interview) with psychologist Desmet, PhD, conducted by Max Blumenthal via Rokfin. (Note: I had a rather difficult search for this interview (1:05:40) due, no doubt, to interfering algorithms that prevented me finding it. On Rokfin, you will find the volume control in a default position of "off". Turn it on.)
In addition, I view his appearance on Rumble in which he only targets the January 6 protest at the capitol as important. It seems to me that omitting the targeting of the Covid "pandemic" campaign as directed by the Democratic Party and the media, Greenwald is attacking a much softer target.

I consider the Democratic Party as a recently targeted political party by right-wing capitalists, who have been aspiring to control the USA since about 1940 (and have largely succeeded), because they saw it as more useful method to fool the American public. The capitalist ruling class has always used two political parties as useful to project a democratic facade for the nation, but the Democratic Party has been used in the past by the ruling class as an acceptable and weak worker-oriented party. Now that they have taken it over, the ruling class has used the Party has a vehicle for promoting the Covid "pandemic through their media corporations in addition to other themes.

Plus the rivals of the transnational capitalists, which consisted of more nationally-oriented capitalists of the Trump faction, have taken control of the Republican Party in the 2016 election. Thus, the covert intelligence services, which serve our masters in the ruling class, took it over and used it as a vehicle for the Covid "pandemic". However, Greenwald refuses to recognize this, and I wonder why. Could he have become "vaccinated" against any Marxist thoughts relating to ruling classes because he has been, like most Americans, thoroughly indoctrinated and propagandized?
  • The Drivers Of Empire Want To Rule As Greek Gods by Australian Caitlin Johnstone with her American husband, Tim Foley, also reading the script (but you may miss supporting examples, illustrations, etc.)--from her weblog. My reaction: This is a good explanation of the addiction to power. There had been major speculation by corporate media in the fall of 2019 when the Fed launched these emergency repo loans as to which financial institutions might be in trouble. One would have thought that the same corporate media would have been anxious to learn the names of the banks that borrowed and share the breaking news with their readers. Imagine our surprise when the story was censored by every major business media outlet.

On Friday, we emailed the business editors of the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, asking why they would fail to publish such an important story. We gave them more than 48 hours to respond. There was no response.

Powell’s deceitful performance was after all picked up and parroted as “irrefutable” proof about Saddam Hussein’s WMD operations by the very same mass media institutions which tell us we must ramp up aggressions against other foreign governments on equally insubstantial claims today. But it’s hard to dispute that his greatest lasting legacy will be his immortal reminder to future generations that there is never, ever a valid reason to trust anything US officials tell us about a government they wish to bring down. [my emphasis]

Powell’s other contributions to the world include covering up and participating in war crimes in Vietnam, facilitating atrocities in Central America, and destroying Iraqi civilian infrastructure in the Gulf War. But it’s hard to dispute that his greatest lasting legacy will be his immortal reminder to future generations that there is never, ever a valid reason to trust anything US officials tell us about a government they wish to bring down.
It might of course be that whoever briefed the officials who talked to the Financial Times has exaggerated the Chinese intent and its capabilities.

Such talks of 'missile gaps' and of purported super weapons an adversary allegedly has is useful when one wants Congress to cough up more money for weapons development.

The FT report may well have been part of such a campaign.

Colonialism’s legacy is a contributing factor to a wide range of issues, from conflict to corruption, and to the poor state of electricity access across much of Africa today.

While industrializing nations in the 1900s were building electricity grids through massive public spending campaigns, like Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal in the United States and the Electricity Supply Act of 1926 in the U.K., most of Africa was being actively pilfered of its rich natural resources. Much of the infrastructure built in colonial Africa during that time was built only to facilitate resource extraction operations, such as mined commodities, oil, timber, rubber, tea, coffee and spices.

Countering the propaganda of vaccines working, the death of Collin Powell comes amidst the growing awareness by the global population that not only do the vaccines not work, but neither do the lockdowns and various other restrictions and mandates placed upon societies.

The Elites, who have bought governments and "experts" providing guidance, are attempting to make money with yet another bad story coming out of the big pharma industry.

Those calling for forced vaccines, and those claiming the unvaccinated are a risk to society are sorely out of touch with the reality. Covid Vaccines will not solve any of our social issues. We cannot buy our way into being healthy, and our governments gave massively failed advice potentially as a result of putting greed, and profits before people and our planet.

Bravo, Powell's death will hopefully mark the beginning of a mass awakening in America. Do not trust governments that have been taken over by corporations.

I have frequently used what I have gleaned from the study of Marxism: in particular, a class structure with a ruling class arising out of previous class structured societies, and a ruling class that always tries to maintain their rule by various methods that are in the past always associated with mostly violence against dissenters. This is what I find is valuable about Marxism. Karl Marx was a prolific writer, and he wrote about a variety of issues and concepts. But, his most important contribution to understanding societies remains that of identifying a class structure of societies and their resulting characteristics.

Curtin, and most other educated in the USA, have been indoctrinated to avoid any hint of class analysis. In this essay, he is trying to use psychological concepts and simulacra to understand the coronavirus scam that the ruling capitalist class has used to create the adverse conditions that we see today in society. But these explanations are only derivatives of real understanding.

Neither Curtin nor his sources have been indoctrinated by ruling class authorities to not understand or explain the prior conditions of the monopoly of media and all other institutions that the ruling class enjoys today. This monopoly of influence is a natural evolution of capitalism. They don't understand how a small ruling class, who after centuries of consolidation and concentration of property and who today owns (and controls) just about everything, can have such a profound influence of society and the minds of college-educated people like himself.

Most American dissidents of the web today suffer from their many years of indoctrination in colleges and universities--in addition to just living in the USA where the ruling class has control of every institution--have carefully censored out the ideas of socioeconomic class analysis. Curtin becomes closest to this understanding when he references digital technology: He writes "It involves the entire spectrum of techniques of mind control and propaganda.  It includes politics, medicine, economics, Covid-19, the lockdowns and vaccines, etc. Everything." Instead of focusing on only one method, digital technology, he refuses to connect this with a ruling class that has nearly complete control over every institution including jobs, careers, grants, etc.
  • Was America’s Longest War for Opium, Oil and Propping up the Stock Market? by John Potash from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: In this well-documented research Potash produces considerable evidence to support the affirmative explanation. However, there were other reasons together with the reasons Potash cited that caused the invasion using 9/11 as a grand psy-op: like strategic reasons as a base to counter Soviet and Chinese influence in the area.
While organizations such as Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth’s nearly 3,500 industry professionals have provided a mass of evidence on the pre-planned demolition of the twin towers and World Trade Center 7,[1] Professor Peter Dale Scott and others unearthed evidence on the Bush administration’s real reason for invading Afghanistan. They say it was for access to its poppy fields and its proximity to oil resources.
  • The U.S. ‘Longer Telegram’ Is Hostile Interventionism in China, Posing as Competition by Alastair Crooke from Strategic Culture Foundation. My reaction: The editors of this journal recognize one of the basic theorems of class analysis with their introduction: "Incumbents of the White House come and go, but U.S. security objectives do not alter course so readily, Alastair Crooke writes." The ruling class appoints their main employees contrary to the conventional belief that we live in a democracy.
In light of the recent massacre of seven protesters and the wounding of dozens of others in a highly sensitive district of Beirut, senior political analyst Nasser Qandil argues that the US and Israel are seeking to drag Hezbollah into a new Lebanese civil war that would rob the movement from engaging in a decisive war with Israel while in its military prime.
  • Climate Change Worse than Expected: A Conversation with Guy McPherson conducted by Michael Welch from Global Research. (Note: The "Conversation with Guy McPherson" begins at 08:00.) My reaction: The founder of Global Research, Michel Chossudovsky previously poo-pooed (def.) such climate change scientists and their work, but I haven't read such articles in recent years.)
The following post is selected by Brad Fredricks (and any of his reactions and commentaries for this website):
In 2020 the world's richest people got $1.9 Trillion Richer. In contrast to this is the growing reality that people are living with less, making less, and finding it increasingly harder to survive capitalism.

Last year, I made about $12,000 myself. As a father of two, living below the poverty line has been incredibly hard. I've had friends take their lives due to the pressure, and others have turned towards severe addiction.

The realities of the 5,000 year reign over the world by those that control money have brought free society to its knees. You're either enslaving others, or a slave in the capitalist system.

Nothing new to report here, just more absurd evidence that the system of capitalism is not working for the majority, and much less so for the planet itself.
