We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

Posts that I especially recommend for Monday, January 31, 2022

  • WHAT?! The Great Reset Is NOT a Conspiracy! featuring Russell Brand, a British comedian, using sarcastic comedy to argue that our ruling class is using mainstream media to promote the Great Reset--using Brand's channel on YouTube (14:30).
  • Doug Casey's Take [ep.#164] Canada's Freedom Convoy featuring Casey's opinions about this event from the latter's channel on YouTube (24:59). My reaction: Casey's comments about mainstream media's coverage of any topic opposed to the ruling class's agenda is "spot on". I don't use any new sources from media corporations, and I only use independent sources. The divide of opinion over the "covid pandemic" is only between people who are addicts of media corporations and others who find fake information spread by media corporations by forcing others to find independent and reliable sources of information. Media corporations only report "news" or propaganda that fits the various hidden agendas of the ruling capitalist class. This divide and conquer strategy divide people into two warring camps: those who follow mainstream media and others who want reliable sources for information. Mainstream media is the voice of the ruling capitalist class whose basic purpose is to dominate the entire globe.
  • American Pravda: Anne Frank, Sirhan Sirhan, and AIDS by Ron Unz from his weblog The Unz Review.  My reaction: Unz, an old-fashioned capitalist (contrasted with the hyper-aggressive right-wing neocons) is highly critical of media corporations and their reporting and silence regarding the many scandals that have occurred in the 50 years (including the assassination of the Kennedys and the AIDS crisis). Unz gives many slanderous references to the "dishonest or cowardly American media". But these are no casual descriptive references. I, in contrast to Unz, believe that the CIA and other highly secretive "intelligence" services of the ruling capitalist class have taken over major media corporations throughout the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire and using them as a tool for the transnational capitalist class as the main propaganda tool to brainwash Americans in support of their agendas, among which is, and has always been, since WWII that of global domination (see this and this). Anyone standing in way of their goals is immediately neutralized in one way or another.
Which is why I am saying my goodbyes now while I can still reach you, my most obstinate followers.

But this isn’t really about one small light being snuffed out. This isn’t just about our relationship coming to an end. Something bigger, and more disturbing, is taking place.

Journalists like me are part of an experiment – in a new, more democratised media landscape. We have developed new reader-funded models so that we can break free of the media corporations, which until now ensured billionaires and the state controlled the flow of information in one direction only: to speak down to us.

It has been seven months since Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett took office, and here he is today dispelling (any) doubts about his government’s political path: frank rejection of the Oslo Accords and peace based on the two-state solution.
