We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

This report is prime reading for anyone who wishes to gain an understanding of how "liberal" or bourgeois (capitalist) democracies work. The latter must have secret agencies operating outside of the law that follow the diktats of the ruling capitalist class. This report only deals with British agencies that during the course of their operations commit crimes. It does not report on other agencies, whose top leaders answer to the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire's Deep State, that are engaged in shady operations which undermine any semblance of democracy such as propaganda activities. If you think that Britain is not an essential part of the Empire, and, as such, has no implications for the rest of the Empire, you likely won't believe it has anything to do with government operations in the USA. Brainwashed others will dismiss it entirely. However, it is essential reading by any US activist or revolutionary organization that aims to be effective. For people involved in the latter, this rare report must be studied.
... it was understood that the best way to construct the fascist international was to do so under liberal cover, meaning through clandestine operations that maintained a liberal façade. While this probably sounds like hyperbole to those whose understanding of history has been formatted by bourgeois social science, which focuses almost exclusively on visible government and the aforementioned liberal cover, the history of the invisible government of the national security apparatus suggests that fascism, far from being defeated in WWII, was successfully internationalized.
  • Running Out of Time… October Surprise Redux? by Philip Giraldi from Strategic Culture Foundation.  (My reaction: I remember well the reliable reports after Reagan's election in 1980 reporting that the CIA rigged the election for Reagan. Giraldi reports on other possible shenanigans perpetrated by the Deep State that obviously wants Trump removed. But, who cares? Both political parties serve the rich ruling class of capitalists and not ordinary Americans.)

  • Liberalism and Fascism: Partners in Crime by Gabriel Rockhill from CounterPunch. (Note: Rockhill is using the term "liberalism" in the classic sense which means the ideology of capitalism.) My commentary follows:
I agree with most of this article with the exception being that he does not distinguish capitalist "democracy" or,  a more familiar and equivalent term, "bourgeois democracy", from socialist democracy. Lenin laid down the theoretical framework for the latter, but immediately after the Russian Revolution, Russia was under attack mainly by Britain, France, Japan, and the USA--especially by Britain which interfered with Lenin's plans. Also the quashing of the Communist party in Germany contributed to the distortion of Lenin's plans and resulted in a bureaucratic ruling class headed by the authoritarian Stalin.
A socialist democracy has yet to be created or established, and it doesn't seem likely to appear given the limited amount time humans have due to the threat posed by the ecological crisis and the bellicose and aggressive nature of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. The latter poses the threat of a catastrophic nuclear war.
To be sure, after WWII the Western intellectual apologists for capitalism had to extensively ignore the reality of the fascist roots in capitalism, and went on to extensively rewrite the history of WWII that is de rigueur throughout the present day Empire.
I think there is a basic conflict between capitalism and socialism, and that is the question of allegiance to the extended family versus society. If one chooses family, capitalism provides the means to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of families which are the owners of economic property (and their supporters) over those who don't own economic property.
This is a powerful motive force which is the basis for many conflicts among humans, particularly those who, otherwise support socialist policies; but faced with the loss of jobs and careers, that would bring poverty to their families, many choose a capitalist path. The choice of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was capitalism, and she greatly benefited from her choice. She described her choice in a nutshell that embarrassed a number of members of the capitalist class because it was so true. She said there was no such thing as society, there were only families, and added that maybe neighbors as well.
Capitalist ruling classes have often used this control over jobs and careers in an exaggerated way to co-op people into activities that they would otherwise not engage. This is especially true of highly educated people necessary to maintain and protect all the capitalist machinery necessary for the system to enhance the wealth and power of the ruling class. This practice has led to the corruption of many highly trained professional and managerial people throughout every institution in the Empire.
  • James Corbett Encourages You To Do Your Own Research from Corbett's website. (My reaction: The only problem with Corbett's views is that he blames the "media" for using experts as a way to support their authoritarian directions. He doesn't yet see that a capitalist ruling class controls major media corporations.)

This rather lengthy article exposes the Great Reset project as a wet dream of the current transnational capitalist ruling class of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. I think that the author places too much emphasis on the similarities on the current scene in America with that of 1930s fascism in Germany and Italy, and not enough emphasis on this vision of the Great Reset as a rather desperate fantasy of the transnational capitalists of the 21st century. Fascism is endemic to any capitalist system. Fascist capitalist classes use mostly crude methods of censorship, surveillance, and police state measures, while most other capitalist countries favor pseudo-democratic methods of controlled elections and carefully crafted propaganda that infects every institution.
Capitalism's trajectory was always headed in the direction of fascism, especially when capitalist countries are threatened. That is precisely why before WWII, during most of the 1930s, capitalist ruling classes in all the other "democratic" nations mostly supported the fascist regimes in Germany and Italy. This support was motivated by the twin threats to capitalist regimes posed by the Great Depression and the rise of the Soviet Union which forbid any significant private ownership of the economy. The latter's system of socialism was a blasphemy to the church in which capitalists worship.

The British ruling class was especially disturbed by any country that promoted socialist policies; and when the Soviet Union appeared, they viewed it as a threat to their system and Empire. But Germany didn't exactly follow the British script for them to head east through Czechoslovakia and destroy the Soviet system. Instead they invaded Poland which held defense treaties with Britain and France. The German government had just signed the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact with the Soviet Union which permitted the two powers to partition Poland between them.
The allies have made much of that in their propaganda and the rewriting of the history of WWII. But having failed to form an anti-fascist alliance with the Western powers, the Soviets opted to gain time to prepare for the expected invasion of their country by Germany. As a result the Soviets in August of 1939 signed a non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany in which they would carve up Poland between themselves. Shorty thereafter the Nazis invaded Poland and formally started WWII.
After eight months of a phony war with Britain, Nazi Germany invaded France and the Low Countries, and it became clear to the British that Germany was a threat to the British Empire. It was then that British capitalists switched their support (Neville Chamberlain) from the imperialist policies of Germany and Italy to an organizing (Winston Churchill) of capitalist friends of British capitalists to protect their British Empire.

Germany initially overran France on other European countries and went on to attack Britain. The German capitalist ruling class was motivated by resentment that France and Britain demonstrated in the Versailles Treaty after WWI, and the overt fascists of the ruling German capitalist class soon represented a threat to the British Empire and their dominance in the world. WWII left Britain in ruins, so the British ruling class, and what remained of the Empire, teamed up with the American capitalists to form a new capitalist empire (they later added Israel) to counter the socialism found in the Soviet Union and to restore capitalist control of the world. And, as they say, the rest is history. (Read Big Business and Hitler by Jacques R. Pauwels for further information on this subject.)
Few are surprised that defenders of Julian Assange against the UK injustice system are misrepresented or excluded by imperialist country governments supported by all the disinformation outlets their countries' oligarchs control. However, scientists questioning public policy on COVID-19 find themselves marginalized not only by dominant liberal opinion but also by majority progressive opinion too. Eminent scientists like John Ioannides, Sunetra Gupta, Sucharit Bhakdi, Alexander Kekulé, Dolores Cahill and dozens of others find themselves in effect, if not disappeared, certainly generally excluded from public discussion.
  • Dr Kevin Corbett Interview 4th October 2020 by "David" who interviews Corbett from the Northern Exposure channel of YouTube. (Note: I don't know anything about Dr. Corbett other than what is provided in the interview, and I don't know anything about "David" who apparently lives in Scotland. I was impressed by Dr. Corbett's interesting comments, and I encountered similar arguments from a "Piece of Mindful" website entitled “Covid-19” = AIDS with emPHAsis.)

Dr. Fuellmich of Germany discusses the findings of the International Corona Investigative Committee that was formed on July 10, 2020 by four lawyers. The committee is made up of lawyers, doctors, and scientists who together have reached the conclusion that COVID may well be the greatest crime against Humanity in history. They originally set out to determine ~
How dangerous is the virus, really?
What is the significance of a positive test?
What collateral damage has been caused by the corona measures in regards to the world’s health and economy?
  • The Shoddiness of ‘Big Think’ Media by Eric Zuesse from Strategic Culture Foundation. (My reaction: I'm not going to fault Zuesse from using the word "aristocracy" instead of "ruling class" which is my preference in the second to the last paragraph. Simply substitute his word for my preference and then the article becomes very insightful. The use of "aristocracy" is necessary in order to be published in any of today's prestigious websites because the phrase "ruling class" implies a Marxist influence which is verboten especially in the West. Apparently it doesn't matter how independent the websites are from Western capitalist publication sources. However, I know Zuesse well enough to conclude that he has been a faithful product of the American educational system. Still, his articles should be read because he reveals so much about the ruling class (excuse me, "aristocracy"😉).

Off-Guardian is running a series of posts that I have neglected because I was suffering from an overload of articles about articles from reputable sources that downplayed what I believe is an unreasonably hysterical reporting by corporate media on this pandemic. I'm referring to the first of a series of posts entitled "The Great Viral Debate" which essentially introduced the series in which two well-qualified experts, Tim Anderson, PhD and Prof. Denis Rancourt, debate the following proposition:

Does SARS-COV-2 merit suppression measures in order to combat the virus rather than the herd/community immunity approach?

On following days they present "opening statements" by the two experts (here and here). (I don't know if they will be posting additional series of articles focusing on additional arguments made by the two experts.) One part which I recommend to you, is rather lengthy video discussion between Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, with whom I was particularly impressed, and Dr. Zubin Damania, found at the end of one of these posts. Damania is a physician-comedian-host who has a channel (The ZDoggMD) on YouTube.

However, I did encounter one issue with Damania when I found a particular video as I sampled some of his videos on his channel. In this video he severely criticized Dr. Judy Mikovitz and the audience of "Plandemic 1 and 2" after googling Mikovitz. Mikovitz in one of the latter videos described her experiences with Dr. Fauci of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Damania doesn't cite his sources of information about Mikovitz.

I have had a recent experience with a person who has a Masters in Public Health. I recommended to her a video "1986: The Act" thinking that she would be interested in the content of this film. However, she, like Damania who googled Dr. Mikovitz, also googled the film, and found material totally discrediting the well-documented film. I asked her to supply the sources of her information and she reported Wikipedia, The Guardian, and some other obscure website. Because she was absolutely convinced of the validity of these sources, she refused to watch the film! This is typical of most educated (brainwashed) Americans who have spent considerable time being educated (indoctrinated) in universities. They are simply unaware of the conspiratorial nature of our ruling capitalist class, their filling of all commonly used information resources and media with their biases and propaganda, and much less of the major crimes they have committed all over the world.

I can't really vouch for all of my posts because it is becoming very difficult to sort out the truth from an ocean of lies. Edward Curtin has also encountered such difficulties, and he recently authored a book entitled Seeking Truth in A Country of Lies. I should read it. {Edited for clarity at 8:15 PM CT.)

Last evening I viewed a film produced by 7th Chakra Films entitled "1986 The Act". It is outstanding in its professional quality production and it offers documented illustrations for the most horrific crimes ever committed by a ruling class against the rest of society under the system of capitalism. I urge you to order it in one of their formats. If you have budget constraints which prevent you from purchasing it, notify me at goatmeal36@yahoo.com.
  • Protests & Provocateurs: Infiltrators are Disrupting BLM Protests by David Rfosen from CounterPunch. My reaction: Although the article starts out with statements disparaging Trump like all liberal media, it soon describes the infiltration tactics and agent provocateurs that are used by the capitalist class to manipulate protests. It focuses on lessons that have been learned by every generation since the Vietnam War, and must be relearned by current activists at an accelerated pace if the protests are to be effective.
  • How Exceptional America Is by Eric Zuesse from Strategic Culture Foundation. My reaction: Zuesse often uses the feudal word "aristocracy" for a ruling class partially in order to be published in liberal-left websites, but mostly because he was indoctrinated by many years of education in the USA to absolutely avoid any writing that is associated with Marxist thought. You see, Marxism is verboten in the USA and throughout most of the the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. "Marxian" can only be used by professors to indicate that they only have an academic interest in Marxist ideology. This is part of the Empire's indoctrination program to control and prevent thought that does not favor a capitalist system, a system founded on private ownership. Public ownership and control of an economy is blasphemous to this capitalist religion. Still, as a critic of US policies, his writings are valuable to read.
How to distinguish the authentic from the artificial, factitious (artificially created) and makeshift needs? The last ones are induced by mental manipulation, i.e. advertisement. The advertising system has invaded all spheres of human life in modern capitalist societies: not only food and clothing, but sports, culture, religion and politics are shaped according to its rules. It has invaded our streets, mail boxes, TV-screens, newspapers, landscapes, in a permanent, aggressive and insidious way, and it decisively contributes to habits of conspicuous and compulsive consumption. Moreover, it wastes an astronomical amount of oil, electricity, labour time, paper, chemicals, and other raw materials - all paid by the consumers - in a branch of “production” which is not only useless, from a human viewpoint, but directly in contradiction with real social needs. While advertisement is an indispensable dimension of the capitalist market economy, it would have no place in a society in transition to socialism, where it would be replaced by information on goods and services provided by consumer associations. The criteria for distinguishing an authentic from an artificial need, is its persistence after the suppression of advertisement (Coca Cola!). Of course, during some years, old habits of consumption would persist, and nobody has the right to tell the people what their needs are. The change in the patterns of consumption is a historical process, as well as an educational challenge.

Note: I am posting this from Arctic News because a participant in the discussion is Sam Carana (SC), who is an editor of Arctic News, and the website supplies a transcript of the discussion which I recommend reading instead of viewing the lengthy 1:24:22 video. The discussion is led by retired Dr. Guy McPherson (GM):
GM: We are delighted to have the inimitable Sam Carana on today’s show. We submitted written questions to Carana and went back-and-forth a couple times to pursue follow-up questions. Our frequent guest, Pauline Schneider, will be supplying the voice of Dr. Carana. You can find Carana’s blog at Arctic hyphen news dot blogspot dot com. Dr. Carana posts anonymously about abrupt, irreversible climate change. To preserve her anonymity, we will refer to her as female, Sam, and Dr. Carana. A caveat is in order: In doing so, we are acknowledging our respect for Carana’s work, and we are not indicating Carana’s credentials or gender. Dr. Carana, welcome to Nature Bats Last on the Progressive Radio Network.

Because domestic issues have predominated in the last six months, I've been concentrating on those subjects to the neglect of foreign events. In this post I hope to make up for that shortfall.

Note: I updated today (Wednesday, Oct. 7) the article by Webb to link it to The Last American Vagabond for your convenience.)

There has been a great deal of controversy over claims that Kary Mullis, the creator of the PCR technology that is being widely used to test for so-called ‘cases’ of COVID-19, did not believe the technology was suitable for detecting a meaningful presence of a virus.
Those making these assertions were attacked and ‘fact checked’ (deemed inappropriate by propagandists) by news outlets claiming that Mullis’ comments had been taken out of context.
So when a video surfaces with Mullis talking about the efficacy of the technology it is worth paying close attention to what he is saying.
  • And a Plague Shall Cover the Land of Trump by Brendan O’Neill from Anti-Empire. My reaction: The author points to the dominant capitalist ruling class and its method derived from the Middle Ages to shape the views held by ordinary Americans via their media corporations:
And there you have it, in terrifying black and white, in explicit Biblical writ: if Trump stays in power, America will be visited by floods, fires and plagues; death will come to your door; pestilence will be visited upon the land. This pre-modernism among those who fancy themselves as modern – as enlightened and ‘woke’ – is striking. It speaks to their own profound inability to come up with a vision for the US that might inspire voters, so instead they must invoke a PC version of Leviticus and warn people that if you don’t choose us then you will be consumed by hellfire and disease. And it confirms what they find so distasteful about so-called Trumpworld – the fact that it has dared to question expert authority, pushed aside the liberal elites who believe that they are the only people sensible enough to rule, and propagated the apparently outrageous idea that ordinary people (eurgh) have something to contribute to the discussion about how we deal with Covid-19 and other crises.
This is what lurks behind the irrational, anti-Enlightened treatment of Covid as a metaphor for the sicknesses of 21st-century America – the desperation of the bruised old elites to regain their authority over a people whom they view as too dumb, vulgar and destructive to govern their own lives. Now that’s sick.

  • Truth Seeker by Jim Meehan MD from his website which apparently is being updated. (Note: Meehan's covid-19 website challenges many of the conventional beliefs about the pandemic spread by media corporations and supported by government health authorities such as the wearing of masks, lockdowns, vaccinations, etc. One thing he does agree with them regarding the prevention of covid-19 is the benefits of social distancing. Dr. Meehan often points to Big Pharma and their huge profits as the cause of their recommendations. Kate Porter of Children's Health Defense apparently agrees with him. I have no health credentials, but I find his assembling of scientific evidence compelling in support of his challenges. In the absence of reliable information regarding the illness, we as individuals must decide for ourselves regarding measures to maintain our health.)
  • We Are Being Lied To! Here Is How… by Spiro Skouras from Activist Post. (My reaction: I've read numerous articles that the PCR test produced a substantial number of false positives. Skouras provides details on the fallibility of PCR test. Listening to media corporations and government health authorities, the accuracy of the PCR test is a fact, and often the positive results are added to their reports on covid-19 "cases".)

(Note: Although this post is past my informal rule of limiting posts to one month, I will post it anyway because of its startling clarity about the dangers of the "new normal" which is being promoted by all authorities of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. (Note: This article is about the writings of an Italian philosopher, Giorgio Agamben, but applies to the political scene in Britain. It is a rather lengthy article, but one that should be read to understand the nature of the "Great Reset" project, a bio-politics that the Empire is promoting with the covid-19 pandemic. It is a best post.

There is a conspiracy, but not of the Pizzagate variety. It is an ideological conspiracy, of at least two centuries’ duration, by a tiny and ever more fabulously wealth elite to further enrich themselves and to maintain their power, their dominance, at all costs.

There is a reason why, as Harvard business professor Shoshana Zuboff points out, social media corporations are the most fantastically wealthy in human history. And that reason is also why we are reaching the human “event horizon” these Silicon Valley luminaries all fear, one where our societies, our economies, the planet’s life-support systems are all on the brink of collapse together.

The cause of that full-spectrum, systemic crisis is not named, but it has a name. Its name is the ideology that has become a black box, a mental prison, in which we have become incapable of imagining any other way of organising our lives, any other future than the one we are destined for at the moment. That ideology’s name is capitalism.
This writer, like most American intellectuals, slides sideways into blaming capitalism and the "PMC". Because I read this article rather rapidly, I couldn't figure out what this writer meant by the "PMC". Perhaps the "Political Media Complex"? A pet peeve of mine are writers using acronyms carelessly.
I agree with the author that this election is an "Election to Nowhere". Have you noticed that more and more announcements on TV are urging you to vote? The Deep State, essentially the board of directors of the capitalist ruling class, is holding an election where they control both parties, and your vote legitimatizes their contrived elections. So, why vote for whom you think are the lessor-evil candidates--except for candidates in local elections who you know?

(Note: I later received an email (from the author?) claiming that "PMC" refers to "Profession/Managerial Class".)

Because I have plans to travel today, this is a shortened version of my usual posts. I'll return tomorrow.

  • The Establishment’s Plan to Divide Part 2: COVID-19, Election 2020, and The Great Reset by Derrick Broze from The Last American Vagabond. My reaction: I think Broze spends too much time on how Trump functions to divide Americans, and not enough time devoted to exposing the carefully designed ruling class agenda of fomenting fear and chaos among ordinary Americans. Trump is a natural-born American capitalist of a nationalist variety, but the transnational ("neoliberal") ruling class intentionally creates chaos among ordinary Americans as a method to install more authoritarian measures. They want to do this as a part of their global domination project that I have exposed numerous times. Transnational capitalists see Trump, who unconsciously stirs up conflict, as an upstart who is detracting from their finely honed control methods, and as such, they are greatly irritated by him. They only included the clownish Trump on the 2016 ballot to ensure the victory of their chosen candidate Hillary Clinton; but they were surprised, as I was, that many voters simply withheld their votes with disgust from Clinton, and as a result, Trump was elected (by the electoral college but not by popular vote).
  • Brave New Money, part 1 and part 2 of a 2-part series. By Norbert Häring, a German blogger and economist, from his weblog Money and more. (Note: I think that this is a summary of his book by the same title.) My reaction: I think that digital money is a part of the The Great Reset project that the Empire wishes to accomplish with the pandemic. I assume that if they are successful, this will give them ever greater control (domination) over their populations. Control and domination is what the Empire and capitalism are all about.

  • Gates, Kissinger and Our Dystopian Future by Mike Whitney from The Unz Review. My reaction: Could the pandemic be promoted by the Empire's ruling class of transnational capitalists in order to cope with the looming climate crisis? Whitney persuasively puts together an argument to support the affirmative to this question. I've previously argued that the pandemic serves a variety of purposes to promote the interests of this ruling class. Among them were the sowing of chaos (in addition to stirring up racial hatred) before the election to instill fear about Trump in the electorate, as well as a project to cope with the destabilization of our climate. If the intentional campaign of panic lasts beyond the election of Biden, you can be sure that the latter reason is primary.

This is posted late, that is, on Monday morning. For some reason after I did some minor editing (some time) after publishing this set of posts, but I forgot to press the "update" button on the new weblog software, and as a result I noticed on Monday morning that the Sundays' posts were not published. I apologize. Because of this mistake I'll not publish any posts on Monday. But not to worry: today (Monday) I will scan my 50 credible websites for posts and include them with other posts tomorrow.

From her research Webb uncovers some odd and suspicious facts in US corporations' pursuit of a vaccine to prevent covid-19. For example:
Such experiments, like this study by Duprex, involved the genetic engineering of three viral pathogen strains and then seeing which would become most transmissible and virulent in an animal host. Such studies are often referred to as gain-of-function (GOF) research and are incredibly controversial given that they often create pathogens that are more virulent and/or transmissible than they otherwise would be. It is also worth noting that UPMC, before Duprex joined the center, had also received millions in funding from DARPA’s Prophecy program “to develop in vitro and computational models for predicting viral evolution under selection pressure from multiple evolutionary stressors.”
  • Development banks must be held accountable for their disastrous oil palm plantation investments in the Congo from GRAIN. (My reaction: But they won't be held accountable because they as transnational capitalist corporations are too powerful for ordinary people to challenge. This is true throughout the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. This is the sad reality of advanced capitalism. Only a thoroughly democratic organization of ordinary people can challenge and topple them in the time remaining before climate deterioration really sets in and puts the end of humans and most other species.)
Cook, unlike most other thoroughly brainwashed critics nowadays, names the system--capitalism. Here are excerpts from the article:
The cause of that full-spectrum, systemic crisis is not named, but it has a name. Its name is the ideology that has become a black box, a mental prison, in which we have become incapable of imagining any other way of organising our lives, any other future than the one we are destined for at the moment. That ideology’s name is capitalism.
... “evilness” – the psychopathic pursuit of profit above all other values – is the business model for all corporations, not just the digital ones.
The Social Dilemma offers us an opportunity to sense the ugly, psychopathic face shielding behind the mask of social media’s affability. But for those watching carefully the film offers more: a chance to grasp the pathology of the system itself that pushed these destructive social media giants into our lives.
Even in the dark age in which we are currently living, naming the system is, sadly, a revolutionary act. It will take vastly much more to change the deadly system that we are under.
  • What OBAMA Got Away With. This features Jimmy Dore (via a YouTube video) describing himself as a "dumb", but independent, comedian demonstrating what independence of thought can lead one to think critically about their "bought" government. But this comes at a price--he's losing his comedic take on life. In another video, he rants about the suicidal destruction of the ecology which supports human along with many others species--because of corporate pursuit of profits (under the capitalist system).
  • Climate Disruption Is Now Locked In. The Next Moves Will Be Crucial by John Branch and Brad Plumer from The NY Times. (Note: If you are not registered with this source, you can access the article here.) My reaction: This source is like a broken clock that registers the time correctly two times a day. This is one of those times. But, after they shock ordinary Americans with this headline, they, as a propaganda rag for the capitalist ruling class, must sprinkle their reporting with more positive statements so that we can go back to sleep--and, of course, they blame it on the government which is owned and controlled by the ruling class. But it shows that our masters are aware of this looming threat. Could the covid-19 pandemic be their desperate means to cope with the abrupt deterioration of our climate?

Posts that I especially recommend today: Friday, Sept. 25, 2020

Introductory note for today's posts: I intended several days in advance to take this day off to relax, refresh, and direct my attention to other rewarding experiences. But I could not do this. Instead, I have lain down to take a nap; and when I woke up several hours later, I found myself, to my surprise, perusing articles that I normally do. Several articles grabbed my attention; but not until I viewed James Corbett's latest, almost daily, video, did I decide to post two articles. I was so impressed by his commentary that I somewhat regretted that I disagreed with his yesterday's post. I say "somewhat" because I often post articles from authors that I disagree with only some of their arguments and perspectives. These include Eric Zuesse, Matthew Ehret, and James Corbett.
  •  A Message to New “Conspiracy Theorists” featuring a lecture of sorts by James Corbett to new “Conspiracy Theorists” among American young people who are only beginning to question the reports that media corporations flood TV and internet reports. This is an addition to the indoctrination they receive throughout their education and much of their entertainment. (This is a best post.) My commentary follows:

Elsewhere I have noted the huge task that younger generations have to overcome many years of brainwashing, and I doubted that they would overcome this systematic brainwashing. I have been encouraged by many of the comments made by Corbett in this video presentation. I also noticed that he admitted only starting to question some of his beliefs in 2006. (I started in 1955.) And I also noticed that he is starting to point to "oligarchs" as the source of evil instead of merely governments as is usually the case with anarchists. This is much closer to what I believe is the truth: a ruling capitalist class that controls not only the government, but every institution. By doing this, he is providing examples of his own growth out out swamp of lies and disinformation that he has experienced all of his life. Beyond this, he is offering specific examples of very sound advice to the younger generation who are starting to question.

Posts that I especially recommend today: Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020

  • Senate GOP releases report on Hunter Biden's dealings in Ukraine from The Duran (based in Cyprus). My reaction: It is hard to know which candidate among the two candidates in the "democratic" election that we are allowed to vote for is worse. But, you are not forced to vote for either--that is our very limited freedom!
  • André Vltchek Remembered by Peter Koenig and Andre, friend by Farooque Chowdhury from Internationalist 360°. My reaction: Another fine human being lost in the battle of human survival against the forces of capitalism which can only support the interests of a few capitalists. He will not be the last.
Unfortunately, Corbett pans the overwhelming evidence provided by independent scientists that we have already "baked-in" sufficient greenhouse gases in the planet's upper atmosphere and the oceans to insure dramatic changes in the climate such that planet Earth will no longer be able to sustain human and many other species. In short, we, humans--an "exceptional" species, will disappear (along with most others).
He does so for two basic reasons: 1) because he is an anarchist produced by the indoctrination-loaded educational system throughout the capitalist Empire to ensure that their graduates are not "contaminated" with any anti-capitalist ideas; and 2) because he refuses to recognize the unthinkable--that we humans depend on a rather unique environment which does not appear on nearly all other planets. He refuses to accept scientific evidence that in the future the conditions of the planet Earth will be dramatically altered because of capitalism's incessant search for profits, and that they have loaded our atmosphere, oceans, and other places on the planet with greenhouse gases.
Thus, Corbett fails to recognize the reasons why their latest "Reset" project is their attempt to cope with this very real concern, along with many other problems facing the capitalist Empire. He refuses to accept scientific evidence that in the future the conditions of the planet Earth will dramatically change because of capitalism's incessant packing of our atmosphere, oceans, and other places on the planet with greenhouse gases. He doesn't distinguish independent scientists from scientists employed by capitalist industries and from government bureaucrats, employed by the ruling class, posing as authorities. He refuses to recognize that the system is the source of not only abrupt climate destabilization, but so many other problems facing humans. Finally, Corbett fails to recognize the reasons why the Empire's latest "Reset" project is their attempt to cope with this very real concern, along with many other problems facing the capitalist Empire.
Humanity [human species] will continue along its self-destructive trajectory until the masses use the power of their numbers to force real change. Humanity will not use the power of its numbers to force real change as long as it’s being successfully propagandized not to do so. The oligarchic propaganda machine is therefore the primary barrier to our transition from our self-destructive patterns into a healthy collaborative relationship with each other and with our ecosystem.
So throw sand in the gears of the machine. If enough of us throw enough sand, we can cause the whole thing to break down.
And she continues on to give her advice on how we should "throw sand in the gears" of what she identifies as the "oligarchic propaganda machine".
These posts today are all I have time for.
