The folks at GloboCap are no fools. They know they can’t remake the world into one big happy neo-feudal marketplace without breaking a few proverbial eggs … and not just in those “terrorist” countries, but everywhere, throughout the global capitalist empire. And that is exactly what they intend to do. So, they needed a new official narrative to justify all the broken eggs.

They haven’t settled on an official slogan yet. “The New Normal,” “The Great Reset,” “The Green New Deal” … they’re all just trial balloons at this point. It doesn’t really matter what they call it. It amounts to a new type of totalitarianism. As I noted in my previous column, “[i]t isn’t national totalitarianism, because we’re living in a global capitalist empire, which isn’t ruled by nation-states, but rather, by supranational entities and the global capitalist system itself.” But it is totalitarianism nonetheless.
  • How Big Tech seduced the Left by Geoff Shullenberger from Unherd (a website based in Britain). My reaction: The author largely doesn't offer an argument as "to how" this development took hold in America. I think it was accomplished to a considerable extent by fear campaigns in recent times such as 9/11, the War of Terrorism, and finally the covid-19 "pandemic". Digital technology like technology in general can be used to the benefit of humans or their enslavement. Under advanced capitalism, otherwise known as fascism, it is the latter which is implemented. 
Note: The following three articles illustrates that government agencies do not have your interests in mind when they formulate public policies that are based on scientific research. Rather they serve solely the interests of corporations. This is another characteristic of advanced capitalism.

Curtin quickly disposes of the current election scene as a giant distraction, and goes on to examine the most serious issue of all: the fascination of power over people that drives humans to commit all sorts of immoral acts against their fellow humans.  
Edward Curtin is a contemporary of mine and as an academic, much more well-read than I have been able to accomplish. But his experience of growing up in a society than promised much in the way of democracy and equality, but in reality, hid a growing fascist threat in the USA over the past 70 years is the same as mine. The fascist puppeteers of the current capitalist ruling class are hidden behind the curtain of distractions such as the "debate" between puppets. The ruling capitalist class have managed to conceal their dastardly deeds of their increasing power over the citizens of this country and much of the world. Now this power is clearly demonstrated for all to see in their laws which require nearly all citizen of the planet Earth to behave according to the diktats of a corrupt UN health agency, an agency corrupted by their power (in the form of money) to stoke up this fearsome "pandemic" which is an excuse to remove from us all remaining freedoms. They have used the profound fear of death to accomplish this.

As a result, the title suggests how all these phenomena are related: death, money, and the much ballyhooed debate. Curtin's name for his weblog is what he is all about: exposing the puppet show for what it is, or in other words, a major contribution to the exposing of fake scenarios, much like the media stories related to the coronavirus pandemic, the assassinations in the 1960s, the strange events that occurred in "9/11", the anthrax attacks of members of Congress, and the subsequent removal of many civil liberties. The article is deserving of study by those young people who still have questions and doubts about the current ruling class's handling of the coronavirus pandemic. It is far much more about this than the title suggests: the debate between Trump and Biden. It is ultimately about power that a tiny class of humans has over the rest of humanity.

Curtin's main thesis of the article is the implication for humans given their consciousness of death as a termination of individual lives. He examines this theme as a way to understand the fascination with power that has driven the actions of the fascist core of the capitalist ruling class over the past 70+ years since WWII. His inclusion of one link is monumental in this effort, that is, the interview that Lars Schall gave with Canadian Graeme Green in 2015. You simply must read this interview to understand what he is driving at. (In 2015 I also posted the interview from a website that no longer exists.)

I think that his main theme of understanding their drive for power is less important, especially for young people, than an understanding of the overwhelming evidence of the enormous threat of the concentration of power (along with wealth) by the ruling capitalist class, otherwise known as fascism. Old guys like Curtin and I have fought all our lives against this growing fascism and have largely resigned ourselves to this threat. We have mostly given up the fight against it, and now only attempt to explain it. But younger people haven't had this experience, and they should be given the knowledge gained from fighting this threat so that they can carry on the fight against fascism.
This an 18:50m video which features an impassioned speech by Kennedy to arouse the public to the defense of free speech, free assembly, and all the other freedom supposedly guaranteed by the US Constitution. He comes from a liberal viewpoint (in today's conventional sense) with its emphasis on civil liberties spelled-out in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution which I think was only accepted by the early capitalist ruling class to establish their control over the new nation. They have never taken civil rights seriously, and have violated them endless times over the centuries. Kennedy does not understand the basic contradiction of class rule with civil liberties. 
However, I think we can join his fight because the fight for these freedoms is our fight: certainly the fight for civil liberties such as freedom of expression and all the other civil liberties. But, while we are fighting for these freedoms, we can also fight for a social-economic system which inherently features equality in all respects: freedom from want, opportunities to participate in major issues--not only civil issues, but economic issues which are an essential part of our lives. To do this, we must eliminate a class system based on the private ownership and control of our economy.

  • How Big Ag Tries To Silence Critics featuring a 5:28m video of Naomi Karavani of the Redacted Tonight channel of YouTube doing a parody of Big Ag: agricultural corporations like Bayer-Monsanto, Conagra, Tyson Foods, and meat packers. These corporations are also growing huge and powerful under capitalism like all corporations in other industries.
In her "Weekly Offensive" Naomi Karavani dives into how the pandemic has revealed the flaws in the factory farm food production system. More people are becoming aware that Big Animal Agriculture spreads disease, and is bad for the environment, workers, and animals. The industry is fighting back against these valid criticism and their desperation is laughable.
The U.S. Department of Justice is being played like a fiddle at a tractor meet. Those big white shoe law firms that handle increasingly dirty cases against the mega banks on Wall Street have twice, in a period of just three weeks, managed to get the Justice Department to announce settlements of landmark criminal cases against two of the largest banks on Wall Street on the day of presidential debates when the public and the media are not paying attention to Wall Street.

Rockhill explains, in the words of an academic, that fascism is an integral part of capitalism. Initially, he uses words that are acceptable in bourgeois academic discourse (such as "liberalism", the classic meaning which denotes the ideology of capitalism) that tends obscure for ordinary people most of the harsh realities of capitalism. However, to his credit, he soon uses the "good cop, bad coop" metaphor, which ordinary people can understand, to explain the harsh realities of capitalism. 
Capitalism is a social-economic system that tends to hide the fact (the classic meaning of "liberalism") of capitalist rule: a ruling class of major private owners of economic enterprises who are always on guard to preserve their system which delivers them so much wealth and power, particularly the latter. 
Power is a very intoxicating and addictive drug that can easily cause some humans to commit all sort of harmful behaviors toward their fellow humans ranging from simple exploitation to outright murder: all characterized by ordinary people who regard such behavior as immoral or criminal. "Liberal democracy" is a system that relies on the rule of their laws.
Such a system results roughly in social-economic classes in which the majority are rented workers, those who benefit by serving the major owners of economic property, and the latter who form a tiny ruling class. The term "ruling class" is not a pejorative term, rather it is a descriptive term. This class puts their stamp of interests on the rest of society which includes workers, middle class people, and their fellow members of the ruling class. Their stamps of interests of this latter class impose on other classes of society range from their beliefs about their system of capitalism as good for all of society, the rule of their laws, and down to the differential behavior and the style of dress permitted to all social classes.

Whenever the ruling class are threatened or their beliefs about their capitalist system are threatened, they are inclined to use violence. History has demonstrated that this system over time results in the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. A ruling capitalist class thus might depend on overt violence or the threat of violence if they feel sufficiently threatened. Such a system is described by various people as fascism. The ruling class of capitalists increasingly ignores their rule of laws in order to rely on violence imposed on people who threaten their system in any form. To gain supporters from other classes they use bribes and fake threats posed by fake enemies (racial groups, Muslims, "terrorists", "communists", etc.).

Finally, the partial sentence "When fascist parties attain state power and are no longer held back by their commedia dell’arte with liberals" needs some explanation. Here he means by "liberals" the current meaning of "liberals": mainly middle and upper-middle-class people who are well rewarded for their support of the ruling class and who support their lies of propaganda. The phrase "commedia dell'Arte" combined with "liberals" suggests that "liberals" only pretend like actors on stage to support the ruling capitalists. Thus the partial sentence means when the fascist parties or fascist segments of the population are no longer held in check by acting liberals, "...." Although the use of "commedia dell'Arte" is clever, I don't think that most liberals are merely acting. Rather I think that most of them (particularly professionals and managers) fervently identify with, and support, the ruling class because the latter supplies them with comfortable careers.

  • ‘TRUTH’ With RFK, Jr. and Mark Crispin Miller: Propaganda, Censorship and the ‘Lockdown Left’ in a 54:58m video-discussion that is posted on Children's Health Defense. (Note: Prof. Miller, a leftist professor at NY University, and Robert Kennedy, Jr. discuss the closing of public inquiry and questioning of government health authorities. Both apparently (my old ears didn't understand a lot of Kennedy's comments) they see this as an historical trend that has been closing during the past recent decades. Even the "left", particularly in America, are going along with this trend. During this discussion, Prof. Miller reports (beginning at 19:12m) on this own case at NY University where he is currently being pressured to resign because he has asked his students to examine research studies that are not in conformance with government diktats.) My reaction: This trend has been reinforced by the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of transnational capitalists. In other words, this is an inevitable trend wherever capitalism exists.
  • Chomsky: OPCW cover-up of Syria probe is ‘shocking’ by Aaron Maté of The Grayzone. (Note: This post features Noam Chomsky giving his comments regarding the imposition in the UN Security Council of censorship by the Empire's ruling class to ban testimony of a former director of the OPCW (Organization of the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) regarding possible violations of treaty obligations by the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire's use of chemical weapons in Syria.
The censorship recently extended to the UN Security Council, where the US, UK, and France blocked former OPCW Director General José Bustani from testifying in support of the inspectors whose findings were kept from the public.
What does it say about our federal regulatory structure when the same dangers that blew up the U.S. financial system, the U.S. economy and the U.S. housing market in 2008 are still with us today? What does it say about who is really in control of Congress?
Capitalism is in more trouble now than it ever was when it was fighting against socialism. What Marx had to say about the crisis in capitalism is truer now than ever before. 
On the whole, if you’ve held on to the American Dream, we hope you’ll realize the American Dream is over. Capitalists have “left the building” and have gone on to invest in other countries. We say this not to say you cannot dream. Rather, we’d like you to join us in another kind of collective dream.

This also applies to David North of the World Socialist Web Site. He, and most of his writers, have jumped onto the bandwagon of scare tactics to instill fear in workers about this over-hyped "pandemic" which has caused untold harm by locking out millions of workers from employment. To be sure, employers of "essential" workers  have exposed worker-employees to unsafe working conditions and have largely ignored safety considerations, but North ignores the evidence of scientific research done by qualified independent experts that suggests the cure of the lockdowns and other policies are worse than the disease.
Regarding Bernhard, maybe I wasn't looking to him, an astute geopolitical analyst, to explain what is going on in this "pandemic". The articles that I have assembled from the beginning have suggested that something nefarious is going on. This huge medical controversy is being driven by fear inculcated in the population by the constant din of major media and the withdrawing of civil liberties by governmental authorities. I discovered yesterday that Bernhard had jumped on the fear pandemic along with others in the ruling class, and their numerous employees and sycophants, by attacking in a similar fashion Prof. Chossudovsky of Global Research. Bernhard impugns the integrity, expertise, and facts of independent and qualified experts. I was astounded by both of these critics.  
Have they both been compromised by the insidious and powerful influences of the ruling class and their Great Reset project?
  • Your Guide to The Great Reset, a 1:11:57 video featuring Jame Corbett (of The Corbett Report), a Canadian living in Japan, explaining from his point of view the "Great Reset" project. My reaction follows: 

I don't have time to listen to all of if, but I don't entirely agree with his general views on political subjects. He is an anarchist, a fashionable leftist type occurring nowadays. This view emphasizes mostly the rejection of official authorities. Anarchists frequently don't see a ruling class that behind the curtain controls the puppet shows that are incessantly broadcast by major media corporations and shows that are a pervasive influence in all other institutions of societies within the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. Corbett in this broadcast acknowledges their existence, but goes on to mostly ridicule them.

Also, I think he rejects the notion of the threat of climate destabilization--which is real. This, I think, is mainly what the Great Reset is all about (among other issues), that is, I think that the transnational capitalist ruling class that controls the Empire are genuinely concerned about this issue and they see the Great Reset as a means to continue their system of capitalism. They see as a necessity to sacrifice the lives of people who don't contribute to their wealth and power ("useless eaters") as a solution to the growing threat of climate destabilization. But Corbett has useful perceptions and should be listened to, that is, if you have an hour and eleven minutes to spare.

This report is prime reading for anyone who wishes to gain an understanding of how "liberal" or bourgeois (capitalist) democracies work. The latter must have secret agencies operating outside of the law that follow the diktats of the ruling capitalist class. This report only deals with British agencies that during the course of their operations commit crimes. It does not report on other agencies, whose top leaders answer to the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire's Deep State, that are engaged in shady operations which undermine any semblance of democracy such as propaganda activities. If you think that Britain is not an essential part of the Empire, and, as such, has no implications for the rest of the Empire, you likely won't believe it has anything to do with government operations in the USA. Brainwashed others will dismiss it entirely. However, it is essential reading by any US activist or revolutionary organization that aims to be effective. For people involved in the latter, this rare report must be studied.

While this probably sounds like hyperbole to those whose understanding of history has been formatted by bourgeois social science, which focuses almost exclusively on visible government and the aforementioned liberal cover, the history of the invisible government of the national security apparatus suggests that fascism, far from being defeated in WWII, was successfully internationalized.
  • Running Out of Time… October Surprise Redux? by Philip Giraldi from Strategic Culture Foundation.  (My reaction: I remember well the reliable reports after Reagan's election in 1980 reporting that the CIA rigged the election for Reagan. Giraldi reports on other possible shenanigans perpetrated by the Deep State that obviously wants Trump removed. But, who cares? Both political parties serve the rich ruling class of capitalists and not ordinary Americans.)

  • Liberalism and Fascism: Partners in Crime by Gabriel Rockhill from CounterPunch. (Note: Rockhill is using the term "liberalism" in the classic sense which means the ideology of capitalism.) My commentary follows:
I agree with most of this article with the exception being that he does not distinguish capitalist "democracy" or,  a more familiar and equivalent term, "bourgeois democracy", from socialist democracy. Lenin laid down the theoretical framework for the latter, but immediately after the Russian Revolution, Russia was under attack mainly by Britain, France, Japan, and the USA--especially by Britain which interfered with Lenin's plans. Also the quashing of the Communist party in Germany contributed to the distortion of Lenin's plans and resulted in a bureaucratic ruling class headed by the authoritarian Stalin. 
A socialist democracy has yet to be created or established, and it doesn't seem likely to appear given the limited amount time humans have due to the threat posed by the ecological crisis and the bellicose and aggressive nature of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. The latter poses the threat of a catastrophic nuclear war.
To be sure, after WWII the Western intellectual apologists for capitalism had to extensively ignore the reality of the fascist roots in capitalism, and went on to extensively rewrite the history of WWII that is de rigueur throughout the present day Empire.
I think there is a basic conflict between capitalism and socialism, and that is the question of allegiance to the extended family versus society. If one chooses family, capitalism provides the means to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of families which are the owners of economic property (and their supporters) over those who don't own economic property.
This is a powerful motive force which is the basis for many conflicts among humans, particularly those who, otherwise support socialist policies; but faced with the loss of jobs and careers, that would bring poverty to their families, many choose a capitalist path. The choice of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was capitalism, and she greatly benefited from her choice. She described her choice in a nutshell that embarrassed a number of members of the capitalist class because it was so true. She said there was no such thing as society, there were only families, and added that maybe neighbors as well.
Capitalist ruling classes have often used this control over jobs and careers in an exaggerated way to co-op people into activities that they would otherwise not engage. This is especially true of highly educated people necessary to maintain and protect all the capitalist machinery necessary for the system to enhance the wealth and power of the ruling class. This practice has led to the corruption of many highly trained professional and managerial people throughout every institution in the Empire.

This rather lengthy article exposes the Great Reset project as a wet dream of the current transnational capitalist ruling class of the US/Anglo/Zionist Empire. I think that the author places too much emphasis on the similarities on the current scene in America with that of 1930s fascism in Germany and Italy, and not enough emphasis on this vision of the Great Reset as a rather desperate fantasy of the transnational capitalists of the 21st century. Fascism is endemic to any capitalist system. Fascist capitalist classes use mostly crude methods of censorship, surveillance, and police state measures, while most other capitalist countries favor pseudo-democratic methods of controlled elections and carefully crafted propaganda that infects every institution.
Capitalism's trajectory was always headed in the direction of fascism, especially when capitalist countries are threatened. That is precisely why before WWII, during most of the 1930s, capitalist ruling classes in all the other "democratic" nations mostly supported the fascist regimes in Germany and Italy. This support was motivated by the twin threats to capitalist regimes posed by the Great Depression and the rise of the Soviet Union which forbid any significant private ownership of the economy. The latter's system of socialism was a blasphemy to the church in which capitalists worship.

The British ruling class was especially disturbed by any country that promoted socialist policies; and when the Soviet Union appeared, they viewed it as a threat to their system and Empire. But Germany didn't exactly follow the British script for them to head east through Czechoslovakia and destroy the Soviet system. Instead they invaded Poland which held defense treaties with Britain and France. The German government had just signed the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact with the Soviet Union which permitted the two powers to partition Poland between them. 
The allies have made much of that in their propaganda and the rewriting of the history of WWII. But having failed to form an anti-fascist alliance with the Western powers, the Soviets opted to gain time to prepare for the expected invasion of their country by Germany. As a result the Soviets in August of 1939 signed a non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany in which they would carve up Poland between themselves. Shorty thereafter the Nazis invaded Poland and formally started WWII.
After eight months of a phony war with Britain, Nazi Germany invaded France and the Low Countries, and it became clear to the British that Germany was a threat to the British Empire. It was then that British capitalists switched their support (Neville Chamberlain) from the imperialist policies of Germany and Italy to an organizing (Winston Churchill) of capitalist friends of British capitalists to protect their British Empire.

Germany initially overran France on other European countries and went on to attack Britain. The German capitalist ruling class was motivated by resentment that France and Britain demonstrated in the Versailles Treaty after WWI, and the overt fascists of the ruling German capitalist class soon represented a threat to the British Empire and their dominance in the world. WWII left Britain in ruins, so the British ruling class, and what remained of the Empire, teamed up with the American capitalists to form a new capitalist empire (they later added Israel) to counter the socialism found in the Soviet Union and to restore capitalist control of the world. Few are surprised that defenders of Julian Assange against the UK injustice system are misrepresented or excluded by imperialist country governments supported by all the disinformation outlets their countries' oligarchs control. However, scientists questioning public policy on COVID-19 find themselves marginalized not only by dominant liberal opinion but also by majority progressive opinion too. Eminent scientists like John Ioannides, Sunetra Gupta, Sucharit Bhakdi, Alexander Kekulé, Dolores Cahill and dozens of others find themselves in effect, if not disappeared, certainly generally excluded from public discussion.
  • Dr Kevin Corbett Interview 4th October 2020 by "David" who interviews Corbett from the Northern Exposure channel of YouTube. (Note: I don't know anything about Dr. Corbett other than what is provided in the interview, and I don't know anything about "David" who apparently lives in Scotland. I was impressed by Dr. Corbett's interesting comments, and I encountered similar arguments from a "Piece of Mindful" website entitled “Covid-19” = AIDS with emPHAsis.)
  • The Covidian Cult by C.J. Hopkins from his weblog Consent Factory, Inc. (Note: I haven't read the article to determine whether it is satire or cogent observations, but I'm impressed with this satirist so much that I'm posting it anyway. Hopkins is an American currently living in Germany.)

The committee is made up of lawyers, doctors, and scientists who together have reached the conclusion that COVID may well be the greatest crime against Humanity in history.   • The Shoddiness of ‘Big Think’ Media by Eric Zuesse from Strategic Culture Foundation. (My reaction: I'm not going to fault Zuesse from using the word "aristocracy" instead of "ruling class" which is my preference in the second to the last paragraph. Simply substitute his word for my preference and then the article becomes very insightful. The use of "aristocracy" is necessary in order to be published in any of today's prestigious websites because the phrase "ruling class" implies a Marxist influence which is verboten especially in the West. Apparently it doesn't matter how independent the websites are from Western capitalist publication sources. However, I know Zuesse well enough to conclude that he has been a faithful product of the American educational system. Still, his articles should be read because he reveals so much about the ruling class (excuse me, "aristocracy"😉).

Off-Guardian is running a series of posts that I have neglected because I was suffering from an overload of articles about articles from reputable sources that downplayed what I believe is an unreasonably hysterical reporting by corporate media on this pandemic. I'm referring to the first of a series of posts entitled "The Great Viral Debate" which essentially introduced the series in which two well-qualified experts, Tim Anderson, PhD and Prof. Denis Rancourt, debate the following proposition:

Does SARS-COV-2 merit suppression measures in order to combat the virus rather than the herd/community immunity approach?

On following days they present "opening statements" by the two experts (here and here). (I don't know if they will be posting additional series of articles focusing on additional arguments made by the two experts.) One part which I recommend to you, is rather lengthy video discussion between Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, with whom I was particularly impressed, and Dr. Zubin Damania, found at the end of one of these posts. Damania is a physician-comedian-host who has a channel (The ZDoggMD) on YouTube.

However, I did encounter one issue with Damania when I found a particular video as I sampled some of his videos on his channel. In this video he severely criticized Dr. Judy Mikovitz and the audience of "Plandemic 1 and 2" after googling Mikovitz. Mikovitz in one of the latter videos described her experiences with Dr. Fauci of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Damania doesn't cite his sources of information about Mikovitz.

I have had a recent experience with a person who has a Masters in Public Health. I recommended to her a video "1986: The Act" thinking that she would be interested in the content of this film. However, she, like Damania who googled Dr. Mikovitz, also googled the film, and found material totally discrediting the well-documented film. I asked her to supply the sources of her information and she reported Wikipedia, The Guardian, and some other obscure website. Because she was absolutely convinced of the validity of these sources, she refused to watch the film! This is typical of most educated (brainwashed) Americans who have spent considerable time being educated (indoctrinated) in universities. They are simply unaware of the conspiratorial nature of our ruling capitalist class, their filling of all commonly used information resources and media with their biases and propaganda, and much less of the major crimes they have committed all over the world.

I can't really vouch for all of my posts because it is becoming very difficult to sort out the truth from an ocean of lies. Edward Curtin has also encountered such difficulties, and he recently authored a book entitled Seeking Truth in A Country of Lies. I should read it. {Edited for clarity at 8:15 PM CT.)
