We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

Posts that I especially recommend for Saturday, February 19, 2022

In dribs and drabs, the hideous effects of treating human beings like insects in mason jars with holes poked in the lid are coming to light. We cannot repair the damage done, but we can highlight and expose those who were responsible for the remainder of their waking days.
In this interview, Szamboti summarizes the glaring errors in the analysis by engineering professor Zdeněk Bažant, who, in a series of papers published between 2002 and 2011, purported to explain how the Twin Towers could undergo total collapse once the tops of the towers began to fall.
The World owes Canada’s finest a debt of gratitude.

Certainly, their model of protest has been impressive—after all, the lory drivers aren’t burdened by BLM brains. The big rigs had initially managed to halt commerce on the Ambassador Bridge, between Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit, as well as at Coutts, Alberta, opposite Montana; and across from North Dakota at Emerson, Manitoba.

Inspired by the quixotic Canadians, liberty loving Europeans are rising against the Continental Covid cartel that has created tiers of subjects some better than others. In France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria brave men and women are demanding their liberties be reinstated, many waving the Canadian flag in recognition of those who went before. They are doing the same in New Zealand and Australia, even in Israel.

In quick succession, the system of segregation developed around vaccination has begun to crumble across Canada in the wake of trucker persistence.

  • 💥The Crisis in Ukraine Is Not About Ukraine. It's About Germany by Mike Whitney from The Unz Review. This is a best post. My reaction: Whitney begins his essay with this quote (below) from a CEO of a right-wing, private spy agency. The quote's argument contains an obvious truth behind the current efforts to create war hysteria in Europe. Having lost the battle on Nord Stream 2, the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire has created a backup plan. But what happens if and when this plan fails? The directors of this Empire feel that the Russian-Germany relations are key to their longtime objective to rule the world, and desperate enough to keep them apart. Could the directors offer another example of projecting their tactics onto the Russians for propaganda purposes? If so, we may see a false-flag operation designed by the Empire and blamed on the Russians. In contrast to what many Americans think, who are preoccupied with the issues related to the covid "pandemic", I think this crisis is very dangerous.
“The primordial interest of the United States, over which for centuries we have fought wars– the First, the Second and Cold Wars– has been the relationship between Germany and Russia, because united there, they’re the only force that could threaten us. And to make sure that that doesn’t happen.” George Friedman, STRATFOR CEO at The Chicago Council on Foreign Affairs

I don't know if the US/British/Zionist Empire will decide to go to war over this issue or not, and I don't think that the directors of the Empire will finally know--although they are in agreement now to go to war. I still agree with the above commentary.
Even though US officials have been saying, at least ever since Joe Biden became the US president, that they do not intend to start a new cold war with China and that they do not want countries in Asia and the Pacific to choose between Washington and Beijing, the fact that the US continues to officially project China as a threat to these countries means, directly and unambiguously, that Washington wants these countries to reject China and embrace Uncle Sam as part of its overall politics of global hegemony.
