Dead Man Rising

Mainstream media in the US is having an orgy reporting on the killing of Bin Laden. But, I couldn't agree more with the author's suspicions about this incident. It reminds me so much of the 9-11 tragedy following which the structural metal debris from the site was quickly removed and shipped to China, and also John Kennedy's assassination and subsequent coverup. It is likely that the real facts will eventually emerge after several years, but will go unreported in mainstream media.

In addition to the quick disappearance of his body, what I find most unbelievable about the official story is the claim that the source of Bin Laden's location was based on information from detainees in prisons like Guantanamo. These people have been held there in isolation for many years--how could they be in possession of any reliable current information? But this part of the story goes a long way to justifying the holding of these prisoners without any kind of due process.
