Humanitarian Neo-colonialism: Framing Libya and Reframing War
The author discusses the international use of two new doctrines to justify the Empire's attacks on governments that promote more independent policies. It reminds me so much of the framing of questionable policies within the US used by political operatives to manipulate public opinion in support of imperial policies and a crackdown on dissent within the US: "national interest", "national security", "war on terror".
