We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

Posts that I especially recommend for Tuesday, March 22, 2022

  • 💥NEW: ‘My name is Spartacus’: COVID-19 Deep Dive Part IV: Mind Control from The Exposé, a British website. (Note: I could not access the audio versions of the various articles in The Exposé. But there are numerous videos posted in this lengthy article that are accessible. The post should be studied.) My reaction: Regarding "Mind control" as a topic, I remember setting up a folder somewhere in the 1980s to collect all the articles that I encountered to be filed in the folder. I still have that folder.
  • US-Ukraine: a Stream of Lies and Slander by Viktor Mikhin from New Eastern Outlook. My reaction: I fear for the people of the USA and their international careerist-opportunist supporters. If such lies and slander (propaganda) and threats do their job of defeating Russia, there is zero hope for ordinary people throughout the world. But China stands in the way of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire. China will be next on the list of the Empire, which aspires to be the world's hegemon, and China knows it. And, after that it will be the world's ordinary people in deep shit. It is a desperate time for the capitalist leaders of the Empire and their dumbed-down careerist-opportunist supporters. They are desperate enough to risk a WWIII, and a nuclear war with Russia, because of their dedicated goal to preserve their Empire, global hegemony, and their desire to preserve the capitalist system under the Empire's control--which necessarily means imperialism.
  • Surprise Surprise features Russell Brand, a British comedian turned serious activist, from his channel on YouTube (14:17).
  • 💥UKRAINE CRISIS: With Gonzalo Lira in Kharkiv [Karkov] from Felix Rex's channel on YouTube (1:39:53). (Note: The narrator of Felix Rex interviews Lira, a resident of Karkov, Ukraine over his circumstances in Karkov and his views. Previously his views were on Bernhard's weblog Moon of Alabama. I've noticed that the few posts were remaining from my list of weblogs that I've subscribed to on YouTube. I don't know how long YouTube will tolerate such posts. Because of a lack of time, I have not listened to all of it--yet.)
  • The war in Ukraine and ways of seeing from Peoples Dispatch which features a video report regarding censorship of news & information reports from the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire and their global corporations.
  • Why the West Hates Putin by the old-fashioned capitalist Paul Craig Roberts from his weblog. My reaction: The first sentence ("Putin is a liberal in the old fashioned sense that no longer exists in the West.") tells so much about Roberts and his colleagues among the old-fashioned capitalist crowd and their opposition to the neocon crowd that have taken over the control of the de-facto US/British/Zionist Empire from them. As I see it, this is an inevitable result of the capitalist system. For Russia and China, I view this as a necessary consequence of the their need to survive as independent nations. But I continue to fear that the section of the rich capitalists will take over control of their nations.
  • Waking up to climate breakdown featuring Rupert Read & Roger Hallam, obviously Brits, discussing the subject--from Rupert Read's channel on YouTube (25:38).
